Every airsoft dealer have great "Sales Deals" on their websites, however, 95% of the best deals are sold out, and in fact they never had the product in stock in the first place. True Edge doesn't play that. They may not have what you want, but they'll show you alternatives,and won't pressure you to buy what you really don't want, like the other sources do. Whatever you buy, you can bring it back, and they'll take care of it for you, just as long as you have the receipt. Had a rifle that kept taking a beating, I dropped it, kicked it, jammed it. Didn't matter, brought it back to True Edge with my receipt, and got it back just as good as brand new. There are a lot of people that would disagree with me easily but i have to say every time i've walked in there i've gotten a hi, how are you, they have always answered every question i have and when ever i wanted a specific replica weapon, they have gotten it for me, everyone in there is always a blast to see, there is one guy there named johnny who is always energetic and comes up with some of the most amazing tactical moves i've ever seen, he shows me the pros and cons to all the weapons, the owner is also very nice, very personable, the gas tech. there has to one of the best i've seen, i've brought in guns that are not even on the market anymore and are fully taken apart, two days later he has it going like its brand new out of the box, i have to say, Thank You True Edge Simi Valley for being there when ever i needed anything, always a fun and educational time in there. read more

Reading some of the reviews confuses me. I've shopped here for awhile now and have had no issues. If something wasn't in stock , they ordered it. I think only once did the manufacturer not send my order and I got an immediate phone call. I've had my guns customized, cleaned, fixed with no issues. I took my brothers gun in and the part it needed wasn't available do they upgraded. If you work with them they work with you. These guns aren't kid proof. They are gonna break and have to be maintained like anything else. They're the only store around that has a maintenance package for all their guns at no cost. And everytime a customer has called in when I'm there they have tagged in their repair file what was said and agreed on. It sucks to see people have issues with this place. Simi valley location staff where helpful. When I went up and chatted with them they informed me they use white-lithium-brake grease from auto zone for gear-box lube. This became important information when I took my gearbox apart (2-months after they serviced it) and saw the only grease inside was the original 3-year old garbage from the manufacturer. I had decided to take my own gun down since performance in the field over the weekend was a disaster. (Seriously. I could not shoot myself with it.) In essence I was charged $30 (See 1-star review for Canoga Park - True Edge) and I did not get my gun serviced at all. This lead to a wear down of the piston and air-pressure leaking out of the gun when being fired. I now have pictures of my proof for this and I am NEVER doing business with this company ever again. read more

I went back into True Edge last week and what a disappointment. I have not been there in a while and the place sucks! There prices where high, there airsoft guns are the same outdated items and they had little to offer. The store is not much of an airsoft store, they had a lot of other junk in there for sale that has nothing to do with airsoft. I even did not recognize the owner Doug, he looked like a fat bum with long grey hair and a ratty grey beard but it was him. The same arrogant guy with no knowledge of airsoft but ready to sell you everyting that you don't need. Looks like he is going threw some rough times,couldn't happen to a nicer guy lol. Anyways don't bother wasting your time going in here. Make some time and go to Evike or buy from airsoft G. I, anyplace but this dump. read more

I been buying from true edge for years ever since san diego comic con 2007. Everytime i buy from them they provide me with the best customer service, and great quality items. Doug, the manager of the booths at conventions, is always friendly nd gives u his 100% attention. His associate jerrose is also another that gives great customer service. I asked to see somethin at wondercon 2015 nd got help right away :). Their entire staff is friendly, great quality items and the best customer service ive ever had. Recently, I wanted to get back into Airsoft and the guys at True Edge were a great help. You walk in, and the walls are covered in airsoft guns and the staff is super accommodating with questions and ideas and even tips on playing. Between their two sales people, Red and Gomez, I was more than set to play. They know about their equipment, information about local fields, even what to watch out for with some players. They do a lot of specials on their facebook, and I'm always looking in when I swing up to Simi or their Winnetka store. Seems I can't leave the store without buying a new optic, or rails, or a bipod, or bbs, or even a new rifle. I love it! read more

The weapon selection in store is excellent, the knowledge is great. The prices are ridiculous. They enjoy a fast buck, and charge for every penny worth. Definitely not the place for beginners because you will be ripped off with price's. If your a local, evike.com sells the same things for about 10-25% cheaper, offers coupons and is only one day delivery of distance. If your a pro you already know this, and just need gun work. My opinion this blows that they take such advantage. I have already lost about 100$ in there. SO study up! then go in and enjoy watching them make a sale, :) read more

I came in looking for a KWA Mark 31911. This store not only had it in stock but they demonstrated how to properly operate my newly acquired machine. I was very thrilled as a newbie to this sport that a local company can offer me advice and guidance. While I was in the store I also saw that they were running a current special for free labor repairs throughout the rest of the month. I look forward to making this store my new airsoft provider! Wow this place is great i mean great. I had them work for my polarstar and it workds ooerfectly i tried to have evike fix it it was 55 bucks so i said no so i took it to true edge they fixed it for 25 dollars. and evike they did not know what they were talking about. evike sucks and true edge worked on it 2 times diffrent reason for 18 and 25 and evike eanted to fix it for 30 and 50 each damn evike sucks. i love true edge. 10 out of 5 never a dissapoint read more

They had a booth at SDCC 2015 and for the second year in a row i had to stop myself from buying everything they had. Such high quality swords and knives from my favorite animes and shows. Oh and the ladies working the booth? Just gorgeous, would've bought anything they told me to just to have them talk to me.
