Came here for my son's 11th birthday with 9 kids, and we had a blast. Guns are all new, so no jamming. We did two of the courses. Everything is outdoors with a nice shady area for pizza and cake. Everyone who works there is friendly. Our ref explained everything and kept the kids from lifting up their masks, so it felt safe. But let me tell you, getting shot by a paintball hurts. Had an event here the ref Karla was great! We did have a great time. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is that we had a group of 30+ like advertised online if over 30 each player will only pay $45. They ended up still charging $50 per player I did ask why since we have 30+ the manger just looked over to the guy whom I believe is the owner and he just shook his head as in saying no then the manager addressed me and said it's still $50 regardless. Before I booked this event I had called and spoke with Brian whom also said if I would have more than 30 players the price would go down to $45. read more

The team at worked was incredible... I had a blown O-ring and they worked to find the problem, replace the O-ring for free and it wasn't even their gun. Then after I had more problems they allowed me to use one of their guns. They really went out of their way to help out and satisfy this customer... I would recommend yes paintball field anyone... This was a great experience for my son and his friends. I used a Groupon and saved quite a bit of money as this can be very expensive. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and concerned with safety. Now that I have been there, I would know how to better prepare for next time. Bring plenty of water, a cooler with ice and drinks, food, and a change of clothes. It is hot out there with little to no shade. They do offer a snack bar with limited choices and I think that the pizza that they sell by the slice is mediocre if that. SUMMARY: Fun if you're a man and skilled at paintball. Otherwise, no. I came here with a Groupon and a few friends. This was my second time playing paintball. I showed up earlyish in the day and stayed until near close to get my money's worth and to give it a fair shot. It's located way out in Castaic - follow the directions on their site because apparently the GPS gets the location wrong. I noticed that they also have at least 1 airsoft field, as well as low-impact paintball guns for kids. Note that there are only port-a-potties. It's a good idea to bring snacks, a cooler, sunscreen, and hand sanitizer. The guy setting up our equipment did a good job of explaining how everything worked. The equipment was OK, but obviously nothing top-of-the-line. I had better equipment at the last place I rented from. The games were walk-on and played with all the other players that were there (minus one private group), and they occurred one after the other. The games lasted anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes, with about a 15 minute break in between. Although their website says that they have 8 fields (and I couldn't seem to find all 8 of them), the games all occurred over 2 different fields, with a 3rd field used for one of the last games. There were a few super skilled players that obviously ended up winning every game. I was marked out pretty fast most of the time. One huge downside was that this place seemed to be a boys' club and I got the impression that women weren't taken seriously and/or not welcome. This was further emphasized when one of the referees said to "keep masks on at all times, we're all men here" (and it wasn't a joke). Very bizarre. I won't be coming back here. There are other paintball places in the area I would like to try instead. read more

Came here this past Sunday with a group of 12 people - only $45/day all day as long as it takes for us to finish our 500 bullets/person. It's quite a drive from LA. It took us ~50 minutes from downtown LA to get here and it's basically in the middle of no where, as it should be since the playing fields take up a ton of room. We signed in, signed liability forms, and got equipped with guns. The women in the group also got body vests which helped a ton because my boyfriend went home with a nasty bruise on his back haha. Anyways, we played 6-7 rounds in a span of 3 hours. We did the field of bushes, the hay, and the building. I loved the bushes because it does a good job in making people hard to spot. We did randomized teams, boys vs girls, and a last one standing round. Our last round was play until you run out of bullets and is likely the reason why I went home with 8 bruises... Anyways, fun day and great moderator/ref who recommended games and fields and break times. It was sunny the day we went and i wore a thin long sleeve shirt and regular pants. Wouldn't recommend wearing a sweater as it gets hot often, though it protects you from the pain a liiiittle. read more

Got a deal on Groupon for my soon to be 15yr old and my little bro. We went yesterday and the boys had a ton of fun! Definitely worth the $38 bucks and we did spend an extra $50 to get them 2000 paintballs. The referees were amazing too. They went through everything, gear, gun usage and how to play. We had my son's 11th birthday party here today- Fortnite theme. This was the BEST Birthday ever! 3 hours of fun play. Not counting the time before and after...it was my son's first time and he can't wait to go back. Blake, our referee was wonderful and so patient with a bunch of 11 year olds... the last round was free for all Battle Royale style which they accommodated for my sons request. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Its tucked in the middle of nowhere and you feel like you really are in the middle of nowhere when you are in battle. Came here with a group of guys on a Saturday and it was pretty crowded. We got there at 9am too. None of us really had any experience and we were afraid of getting matched up with some hardcore folks, but that didn't happen. And the crowdedness wasn't an issue as they have 5 fields here. We were considered walk-ons and our entrance fee got us games all day. You just have to keep supplying yourself with paint. We played about 10 games in 4 hours which breaks of about 15 minutes every 2 or 3 games. Four of the fields are right next to each other and have similar terrain. The difference is the barricades. One had little houses which were fun to hide in and shoot from. The remaining field is called "Vietnam" and is all tall grass and bushes. Nothing to really hide behind. I would recommend coming as early as possible before it gets too crowded and before it gets too hot. This place is about an hour from LA, 15 minutes past Magic Mountain. The staff was friendly and the ref so-so. read more

First time playing paintball and I had a blast! I'm on the prissy side so I already prepared myself for the worst. Dirt, holding my pee all day because I refuse to use the portable restrooms, heat, sweaty beings everywhere, and just a complete mess. Although my expectations were spot on I actually didn't mind at all. Luckily, it was a gorgeous breezy day and the park wasn't packed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Answered all my crazy questions and made an extra effort to help us ladies out. We made reservations for 9, but of course everyone was running late. I called and they told me it was no problem! Half of us rented gear and I was told that their equipment is much better and cleaner than other paintball parks. I of course wiped my gear down for my own sanity and I was ready to go. I want to play again, but not anytime soon. Almost three weeks out and I still have bruises! read more

The people in the check in let us know that it probably was not a good idea to use the group on deal I had bought because it was almost closing time but we decided to stay since we had made the drive from LA and it was totally worth it. It was so good that we are going again next week. This place is a must come for people who want to experience an awesome, well maintained, good mannered host paintball experience. If you are someone who paintballs regularly, and maybe have your own equipment and protection, this is a neat place. If your a parent of middle school kids please do your research first and don't be a parent who decides to take 5 boys here for your sons 12th birthday party and let them enter an open match where they'll be playing against HS kids with high powered guns that have paintballs that do not break/pop as easily. This was a terrible experience for our boys. Reserve your own time if you're thinking of having a birthday party here. It's not fair what happened to the kids today. They went and because the size of their group wasn't big enough they were forced to enter play with experienced players who were a lot older than them and had custom guns that shot ten times as much and were much more powerful. The low rating is for warped paintball not doing more to protect the kids in this scenario. Especially protecting their necks from getting hit. read more

Had my son's 9th birthday here today and it was great- 15 boys in total. The staff was VERY patient with them on and off the field and also to me...the mom who knows nothing about paintball. It was a little crowded when we first got there but we were still able to get a table for balloons and pizza, etc. I posted a few pics afterwards on FB & IG and the other moms all commented that it was the best birthday party ever! The only downside was that the boys ran through the allotted amount of paintballs after the first two rounds (but they were a little trigger happy & shooting at random) so I had to buy another box for $50. Not a cheap party but worth it to see my son and his friends so happy! read more

We recently celebrated my teen son's birthday and were so happy they reopened. Our helper, Kyla, was awesome! Very attentive, knew the special games the boys wanted to play and kept them supervised in a friendly no stress way. She's very experienced in paintball and was the best! We usually order pizza but with the pandemic, brought our own food (deli sandwiches). The park was completely fine with that. If you forget anything they have cold water to purchase and can order pizza. This park is super fun, with different themes for games. They had a blast and it was well worth the price so they could play with their own group. I cannot compliment the park and Kyla enough. What a great way to get the boys out! read more

My boyfriend and I went this past Sunday for our very first time. We showed up around noonish and due to the crappy weather there were only about 12 walk ons. So the teams were 6 on 6. The woman at the front was so kind and funny I was immediately happy we came. We paid, she got us set up with our guns ( Tippman 98 Customs), and explained the air, the balls, the barrel cover, etc. She gave me a chest guard and sent us on our way to our Ref, Andrew. Once on the field Andrew made it aware that we are to never take off our goggles unless all of the barrel covers were on. Good on safety, plus 1 brownie point. He was so knowledgeable and nice and reallly realllyy helpful to newcomers. During the rounds he would yell out that we need to push up and gave us tips on how to play better and everything. Came back a couple times to refill our air and the woman at the front lent me a pair of gloves so that it won't hurt as badly if I get shot in the hand. So nice! Add another brownie point. The fields were pretty big, (I've never been to any others so I can't really compare to anything but it was good for the number of players we had) and the rounds weren't too long or too short. If people were taking too long to attack we would move on! Another brownie point for that. After our 4 hours of playing we had so much fun we didn't want to leave!! We were so into it that he let us play one last round of 1 on 1 for about 10 minutes after they closed. Not a lot of places would do that. Add 2 brownie points for that! We liked him so much we tipped him more than we normally would on a night out to eat! All in all, this was a great first experience and we definitely will be back. Great place to play paintball! Friendly staff and solid refs make the playing experience enjoyable and safe. Very beginner friendly! I like to come here with friends that are less experienced or first timers. There is always a good mix of skill levels and the playing fields never seem to get too crowded. The refs do a good job of making the teams even and keeping the games competitive. The only negative I can say about this place is that most of their fields are built on a big hill so one side seems to always have the high ground advantage. It can be challenging to run up or down that hill!!! That being said you always switch sides so the advantage is shared. Just watch your step and be safe out there! This place was so much fun!!! During my birthday EXTRAVAGANZA, i had a surprise awaiting me on an early ... EARLY, Saturday morning. after a night of birthday food and drinks, i had to get up and out of bed only to be blindfolded and stuffed into the car, with no idea of what the hell was going on. dressed in sweats and sneaks....i was a little worried as to what the hell was about to happen. after about a 40 min drive... i think. we've parked and my blindfold is removed and the first view i have is an empty canyon... i'm like... omg, i'm sorry if i'm such a bitch... please don't kill me!!! ~~ to be followed by - turn around bitch and look where we are, ur not gonna die.... just gonna be in a world of pain. paintball!!!!! yay!! never done it before in my life, i can say i was equally excited and scared at the same time. got there and a couple of my brave friends and family were all there ready to shoot my ass up with some paint. was i worried... maybe a little. =P the place was absolutely great, i can say that when i have the chance to make it out there there again i will. Being that we were all complete noobs to the world of paintballing, the staff was very patient and informative to our group. since we got there so early, we all got set-up properly with more than enough amo and protection any newbie could ask for. we were there all day, played maybe 6 - 8 games, and had the best time EVER! to anyone who has not tried paint balling yet... please do so. it hurts like a BITCH.. but so much fun. and to those that are veterans at this... i don't know what took me so long to try it out. read more

This place is fantastic! They have quite a few arenas and areas of game play. They keep expanding their terrain. Spool Hill is fun. The town is a close-quarters exciting place to play. I also love it when they march us down the hill to play in the brush. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They take competitor's coupons!!! I won't take any points away for this, but it'd be good for you to know if you haven't played much, been to many paintball parks, or made the trek up to Warped: There isn't much to choose from in the way of food or snacks. They do order pizza and let you purchase slices. They do sell drinks and small snacks. Don't come here for the food. Bring your food and enjoy the great park! Also, it's quite a drive to get here, unless you live in the Northern San Fernando Valley. However, so is Hollywood Sports down near Bellflower- they are terrible. Pros: The place is in the middle of nowhere and the field is big. Cons: The terrain has a lot of holes and ditches that you can probably twist or break your ankle on. The staff completely disrespected our private party by NOT SHOWING UP!! Imagine 20+ people of your friends ready to play at 8am, SOME driving from Orange County, then having NO STAFF to help you get started. Called, called, called, emailed, texted... NO ONE answered our call till 1pm where we were just enjoying a picnic at the nearby Lake. I wish every paintball park was run like this place. it's clean it's organized it's run by the professional paintballers. if you get there early you see the entire staff walking up and down the field cleaning them that's a very rare thing, there's not any unnecessary junk laying all over the place I always have a good time when I'm there. the bad -they don't have a lot of fields I believe there are only 4 or 5, and this place is not as popular yet as some of the other fields in the area so walk on groups are small on Sundays when i go. the good -they have the highest quality air ball field in the Los Angeles area, it's legit. -great customer service -the fields are not neglected -i always get a good 3800+ fill -if you're into air ball this is the only place you can just go and wait in line and play walk on air ball with a lot of good people. thank you warped for trying to make the quality of paintball fields better. read more

I found this place because there was a really cheap groupon for large groups. Brought 23 people for a birthday party and spent roughly $800 with everyone in the group. I played speedball competitively from 2004-2008 and have casually played for the last 12 years with friends. I've played in 4 different states and 3 different countries. Of all the fields I have been to, this was the absolute worst no questions asked. Glenn, who I assume manages the place, was incredibly rude and ranks as one of the least accommodating retail managers I have ever encountered. The day we were there, there were 80 walk-ons, all of which they refused to split up across several fields because they were so understaffed. There were a total of 5 employees there that day to wrangle 80+ players. The rental masks, we received still caked in old paint and so oily you could barely see out of them. When I asked for some cleaning solution I was laughed at and told that ruins the coating on the masks, which anyone who has played can tell you is straight wrong. The rental guns were Tippmann 98 and 98 customs all very old and in horrible condition. On several of the markers the feed from the hopper to the bolt were wrecked and didn't stay attached. With that all being said, all of the employees were young guys who clearly just loved the game. They were very kind and I think genuinely felt bad that they had no control over the awful management of this field. The other thing I would like to point out, is that it was so so cheap that at no point did I feel cheated out of our money. You get what you pay for I suppose. I will not be returning here and advise anyone going here to only do so if you get the great groupon deal. read more

It's been a while since I wrote a review "almost 3 weeks!" because of course, it's pilot season, so busy with auditions, yelling at my agent, and in general trying to make money to survive lol...but, despite all that, I did take the time out to hit up a paintball field lol. This was my second time here, and I went with a few friends. Now I've seen all the bad reviews this place is getting, but I gotta tell ya, coming right off the highway, pulling up to a rather new stage, not havinga ton of people to contend with, and getting damn near an entire day to ourselves between the 6 of us was like heaven! lol. I loved it because it had that feeling of claustrophobia despite such a desolate setting. I think that is what did it, having such a wide open space with so few players felt like I couldn't breathe without making too much noise. lol. It was an extremely fun day for me, and combined with my last experience with them a few months back, I say kudos, but I would definitely recommend going with as big a group as you can as there was pretty much nobody else there for most of the time. Very fun paintball park! Definitely better than hollywood sports park. The Afghanistan field is cool, the employees are friendly, and played 5 games in a row! Best part, they are cheap! Paintball prices are average (go to a paintball store), but admission and air is the cheapest I have seen. I just had my 10 and 12-year-old boys birthday party here last weekend. I got the great deal on Groupon and paid the extra 150 for a private party. We had to buy a lot of extra balls but the overall experience was just awesome. The referee was great. The guys were very friendly and informative. This place is great the staff is super friendly and helpful! Recommend to show up at 10am because equipment does run out. We ended up showing up at 2 and one of the refs gave us his personal equipment to use plus a discounted price because we weren't going to play long. The ref gave us a bunch of advice to us first timers and made sure that the seasoned players kept an eye out for us. I am going to definately make this a weekly thing. There are a bunch of fields to do and can easily be turned into a whole day event. Recommend to show up for the whole day and bring a cooler of snacks and drinks. I have to say that Glenn and his team @ Warped were simply fantastic in how they helped us put on a fun event for our son's 10th birthday party. Our participant list was quite a bit more than what we had anticipated, and we were happy to see our friends excited to for a fun day, but I was prepared for the worst. From the time we were registered to the end of our event when our ref (Dylan) took our group out to the field for the last game, everyone was super helpful and made us feel special. I know 5 stars is "As good as it gets" so I might be out of my league by saying this is the first and only paintball park I have ever been to. We grabbed the Groupon deal, and my cousins, couple lady friends, and I ventured out to the park as walk ons on a Sunday. They were very accommodating (you don't HAVE to make a reservation, as the Groupon will lead you to believe, but the website won't.) Wear clothes to cover skin, they'll give you masks, the ladies chest and back protectors, and enough paintballs to get you warm but you should splurge for the $50 box of 2,000. This got us six through 6 rounds (3 different courses.) One of our girls was really nervous about getting hurt, but she was put at ease by the staff, and the only time it seemed dangerous was when other walk-ons weren't listening to the refs (but the refs then gave them an earful, and bad behavior was immediately put to rest.) Would I recommend Warped? Yes. Two of other party members have gone paintballin' once before somewhere else, and said the deal, and the park was better than where they went, so it one ups wherever that was. For a random Sunday funday? It definitely settled the itch to go to war. read more

Reserved the field for 20+ ppl and got pretty good service. It was like $40 a person for helmet, rental gun and 500 paintballs for all day play, $10 for an extra bag of paint. There were a bunch of different fields that you can go on, with one field literally in the bushes. I do warn you.. it's easy to trip over, fall etc.. it's not for the faint of heart... Overall, the staff was nice and understanding and i feel like i got my $$ worth... Side notes: study the google map b4 you go.. it'll definitely help get the # of a local pizza place or something for lunch.. they break for lunch but they dont' have food nearby read more
