I never write reviews but this was by far the worst and unnecessary pro audio experience ever…read more I purchased a Hedd Type 20 monitor on Amazon from Dale Pro Audio, but I received an SM58 microphone instead. I called Dale pro audio, and was transferred to Tim Brown the owner. He told me that my order was cancelled and I received the microphone by accident. My order wasn't actually canceled, and a microphone was sent so I could cancel it (maybe they weren't in good standing with amazon?). So I thought okay no problem, tough times, resend me the speaker. Tim, for whatever reason didn't want to sell the speaker on amazon and used my order to do so. He asked that I pay him through PayPal. I ended up having to pay through PayPal again, while my first order refund still hasn't posted to my bank account as I'm writing this review because he refused to re-list it on amazon prime, where I have already bought the item. I'm out 3,000$ for one b-stock speaker, not a pair, and Tim is adamant that the speaker orientation is a left, so I purchased a RIGHT from alto music (Bobby montemuro). Right speaker arrives from alto. After all that, a right speaker also arrives from Dale Pro Audio, which is what I purchased initially. I could have just ordered a left from Bobby. After the back and forth, no apologies, or show of solidarity. He sends me a return label. I'm writing this review because I strongly believe it's not worth it especially if you're a serious musician. Low priced items okay, but I could not trust this company with anything expensive, not because I received a wrong item but because of the culture that exists within this company. If I'm met with such dishonesty and disregard from the owner, imagine what it's like on a regular basis. No positive review here will show they won't take advantage at your expense, and I think that's the most important take-away. Picture attached

Was told that the product just arrived at the warehouse and would be shipped out that day. Strike 2 -- dont show an item as in stock if you didn't already have it in stock. Two days later, still no email or tracking info, so I have to call again. Strike 3. This time was told by a different guy that my order was refunded because it was out of stock. But I check online and the product is showing as in stock still with a price 2x what I paid (now in line with the rest of the online sphere's pricing) -- idk how many strikes to count for these events but it would be several. Why am I being lied to? Why have I had to reach out every time instead of proactive communication from the retailer? Why was my purchase price not honored like any good retailer would? On top of that, the guy I spoke to the second time offered to have the guy from call #1 contact me as he was the one running point on all this of this and of course I never received a call. Bunch of lying cowards at the fulfillment department of this company. Everything you dont want in a customer experience. Would never spend a dime supporting a business like this.

Reel-to-Reel-Haven/Audiophile Experts lied to my face 3 times at Audiofest Montreal as a form of…read morediscrimination against me. The only booth out of all the 30+ booths of the show that did that to me. After their Revox North America guy (Ryan O Connor) gave a presentation about tape recorded music, claiming it provided better sound, he then asked the audience if they wanted to listen to more music. All I did was compliment the sound of the KEF Blade speakers they played the tape on and ask for a sample with drums on it to be able to correctly judge those speakers as a drummer (I am a recorded drummer in multiple bands), and they treated me like I committed a crime! I asked every booth in the conference for that and they all treated me with respect and agreed to play music with drums in it, including booths with very expensive $60,000+ speakers (more expensive than the KEF Blade 1s). So, they first told me they didn't have any Jazz recordings with drums, which I could understand, but then some guy in the room pointed out to me they had a tape with the White Stripes on it, who do have drums in their music. When I asked them to play it (I really just needed 1 minute), suddenly a different guy who was an Audiophile Experts dealer vetoed the revox guy who told us we could listen to more music, and claimed he couldn't play the second tape because the next demo was in 15 minutes, which didn't make sense as I only needed 1 minute and all other booths at the show respectfully agreed to play more stuff when asked. I paid a ticket for the Audiofest Montreal show, so I have a right 100% to learn more about the speakers that I want to discover with more music. His veto action felt like personal discrimination. I told the revox guy that the Audiophile Experts dealer dude just made him look like a liar, so he told me to come back at 5pm to listen to that White Stripes tape (though he first laughed a weird disrespectful laugh, which was very unprofessional). I came back at 5pm, and when I reminded the revox guy of his promise to me, some 3rd Audiophile Experts dude lied again, telling me they couldn't play it even though they gave me their word, meaning they were literal liars acting like they're not real men of their words, yet crooks. I told them that's who they were with me as an objective 100% true fact, and then suddenly the revox guy (Ryan O Connor) yelled at me very rudely and asked me to be silent and enjoy the f ' ing music (his words) even though they treated me without respect by lying twice to me, without any sympathy for my mistreatment. I sat down waiting for the music to play, and suddenly the 1st Audiophile Experts dealer that lied the first time told me to leave. So, they lied for the 3rd time breaking the last word of the revox guy yet again. I told him the revox guy told me to stay. He discriminated against me as if I'm like a peasant lower-level person who doesn't deserve truthful respectful treatment or keeping their words with me, asking me to leave. Discrimination is never acceptable because it means this business rises at the expense of pushing people like me down, which is a form of theft. I call for the Canadian Government to close this business immediately, and close all other similar businesses if any exist. I call for the American Government to close the Revox North America unit Reel to Reel Haven that is based in Brooklyn, New York, immediately because their guy lied and treated me with discrimination as well. P.S. I don't trust anything Ryan or the Audiophile Experts guys said anymore about tape recordings. I think it's just a lie to cheat people of extra money when in fact digital recordings do get converted to analog just before they are played on speakers anyways. Their products are garbage if they mistreat people like me to get ahead. All of those people who acted as if they're "important" are not important at all because the world is meritocracy and they lose merit if they don't keep their word, lie repeatedly, and discriminate against some people (even if they don't discriminate against everyone).

We were redoing our kitchen a few years ago and I wanted to put in a sound system into the ceiling. I did a bunch of research and ended up going with Rockville's 6 zone, 70w commercial system. Unbelievable sound and an amazing price. Couldn't be happier with it. Then this summer I wanted to upgrade the monitors I had on my computer since I have started to do more music recording at home. I bought their combo studio monitors and subwoofer and again, unbelievable sound and an amazing price, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Even bought a t-shirt! Then the sub stopped working and I was nervous about sending this big ol heavy thing from my home in CA to NY to have them work on it. Customer support was prompt and professional and in a coupla weeks I had a new sub. So rare to find a company these days with a killer product at a great price and good customer support.
