I finalized True Heating & Cooling after speaking to four vendors who gave me quotes for a complete installation for our failed HVAC system. We went from a conventional to dual-fuel heat pump. While there are pricier versions and equipment specifications in the market (e.g., Carrier), as well as cheaper ones (e.g., Goodman), we decided to work with Lennox given it's pricing, rebates, and other factors including True H&C as certified Lennox installers. I learned a lot in this process and came to respect True H&C as an excellent technical contractor for HVAC work. They are professional, timely, price conscious, and supportive of client's needs. They either had a technical answer, which is easy to check with an AI like ChatGPT, or they were willing to admit that they really did not know. For example, I was keen on knowing the make of the compressor for the heat pump, and Lennox produces these "in-house" i.e., through a sub-vendor - possibly in Asia. True H&C went above and beyond to try to get me this information, and were clear about their limitations. I respect that a lot! They were incredibly patient while I worked my way through the four quotes and technical specs. for all these companies. After 5 weeks from the initial contact, while I explored multiple combinations, Jophery (technical sales) was still willing to speak and help with my decision making - with no guarantee that I would go with True H&C. On installation day, both Carlos and Juan were excellent, fun to be around, and taught me so much about the system (Sorry guys, I didn't get this review done in time for a free lunch from your company. That's on me.). True H&C really know what they are doing. A senior technician from True H&C came by before the City of XXX inspection (yes, get your system inspected by the City you live in - it's worth the tiny additional amount you'll spend). He was thorough and gave me so much support in thinking about how to mitigate sub-standard HVAC ducting (which most houses have i.e., it's not the HVAC equipment but duct sizing/returns/vents that are creating hot or cold spots in your home). The owner Justin was on site on installation day for a last minute change I made to the specs (mounting pads versus brackets for ground clearance), and I had a great chat with him. Finally, the office hand off from installation to questions afterwards on rebates, smart thermostats, etc. has been nothing but excellent. In summary, if you want great specs on equipment, Lennox might be your ride for HVAC. AND True H&C are your installer. I've done this homework for you, and they are not paying me anything to say this - go with them. You will be happy. read more

The folks at True Heating and Cooling took on a pretty big job of installing an extra unit to increase the cooling capacity of my home; these Colorado summers are getting hotter every year! They did a wonderful job installing a ducted heat pump that would add cooling and heating to my upstairs bedrooms using discreet ceiling mounted ducts, with the efficiency of a large mini-split system. Jophrey came to my house to give me an estimate and within a day or two presented a few different options and explained their pros and cons. Once we had settled on an appropriate solution, they were able to start the work in a few days (I think they have same-day availability for emergencies, but there wasn't a rush on my job). The installers (Carlos, Daniel, Juan and Alex) reached out each day when they were on their way with a picture and identification so I knew when they were coming. They touched base at the start and end of each day to clarify the work they had done and answer any questions. They were always very courteous, polite and asked about any modifications in advance to always make sure I was going to be pleased with the final product. At the end of the job, the owner of the company, Justin, even came by to QC their work and walk me through the new system. I obtained five bids, and theirs was one of the most competitive. Good service, quality products and a reasonable price - what more could you ask for? They will absolutely be my vendor of choice for any HVAC work moving forward, and they should be for you too! read more

I was referred to True Heating and Cooling by my warranty company. Dustin (the owner)called Monday and scheduled Daniel to come out and assess the problem with my boiler. It was making this god-awful grinding noise. Daniel determined that the problem was the pump. He told me he would have his boss call me with an estimate for the repair. I received a call from Dustin with the estimate for the repair and we scheduled the repair work for Wed at 1PM. The repair was not totally covered by the warranty company so they worked with me to schedule the work and even gave me a discount for my portion of the bill (my husband and I are both seniors and both veterans). That was really appreciated. Also, Daniel called prior to his arrival, both times, they were prompt, courteous and left my home as they found it. They even put on booties so that they did not track up my hardwood floors.They also checked to make sure the boiler (which is old and works off natural gas) did not have any carbon monoxide leaks. Aging in our home of 46 years took a turn for the worse when the swamp cooler we had relied on for many years was barely functioning in the first hot days of summer. An initial bid came in literally several thousands dollars above what True Heating and Cooling gave us as an estimate for a new furnace (absolutely necessary in our case since the one we had was rebuilt but original to the home) and an AC that could cool our 3100 sq. ft. house. The five person crew with two company vans and a SUV decendend on our place within minutes of their scheduled arrival and got to work immediately and with amazing efficiency! They were very clean cut and friendly and wore covers on their shoes which they methodically removed and put on each time they left and reentered the house. We actually got very attached to these lovely young, energetic guys. Carlos, Sam, Dustin, Julio, and owner Justin, we think you are the best! I have been a customer of True Heating and Cooling for many years and today I had a new swamp cooler installed, as always, the service was exceptional. Logan is a remarkable technician, he is knowledgeable, professional and very personable. It matters a great deal to him that the job is done well. Over the last few weeks, I have had an intermittent issue with my old swamp cooler; Colin came out twice and was very thorough in trying to identify the problem. It was very helpful the way he explained what he was doing to try to isolate the fault. Ultimately, I decided that it was time to have a replacement unit but there was no pressure from him about doing this or insisting it was necessary. We relied on a neighbor for a recommendation and are thrilled at the professionalism, honesty, hard work and fair pricing that we received every step of our project with True Heating and Cooling. Justin, the owner, designed a heating system with a replacement furnace, new ductwork and smart thermostat. Julio and Daniel showed up on time, let us know every time they left or arrived at the house, wore shoe covers, were polite and worked like crazy the entire time. I am glad I chose True Heating and Cooling to replace my boilers and water tank. The system was 20+ years old and needed some re-piping for today's units. Justin listened my concerns, explained his plan and made a quote. He led the installation so there was no disconnect between the quote and actual installation. Even when they found some surprises, they took the tab. Julio and Logan were professional and sincere. They left the area organized before they left each day and kept the schedule. They were courteous, professional, on time, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves. They explained what was wrong, what they were going to do to fix the issue and told us each step that needed to be performed. We upgraded to a Lennox heat pump, steam humidifier, and backup gas furnace; and swapped like-for-like on a new Bradford-White water heater. We are very satisfied with the new system and the quality of the workmanship. The previous system was installed 12 years ago by the developer. It was noisy and could not maintain control of the humidity with the drip pad system. The new system is very quiet, keeps the air cleaner, and humidity is spot on. Very satisfied and would recommend them, high quality not a bargain basement system. read more
