Greg uses fast food parts...cheap yes...quality NO. If you choose to use Weatherbee I also strongly recommend opening a new bank account and put the money you "saved" into that account....you're going to need it later to fix his work. Greg the owner caused $1006 worth of damage after he came out to fix his budget/faulty install. The fast food Shark Bite he uses to install water heaters started leaking and corroding in less than a year. During his warranty repair he flooded the utility room, didn't clean up the water, didn't turn the water heater back on after he flooded it (ice cold showers for everyone!), forgot to turn the sprinkler supply valve back on (never should have been turned off in the first place but he doesn't know the difference between a sprinkler supply shutoff and a water main shutoff). He left the sprinkler valve off which caused a pump in the system to run dry and burn out. $1006 for a new pump. I don't know about you, but unfortunately I don't have a "what to check after your plumber leaves without saying anything to anyone" checklist. We mistakenly trusted THE OWNER of Weatherbee Plumbing. Yes we attempted to contact Greg many times before posting this review, he chose to be a coward and never responded. Thanks Greg!

The good: - the price.....cheap for a reason - available immediately...another red flag The bad: - Super messy. Dust and attic filling from the duct work left all over. No plastic covers, except what I could find in my garage - Took the easiest path on everything. Location, electrical runs, thermostat - didn't block it (raise it) in attic. Just sitting unleveled on the attic floor joist - duct tape on all the vents with hardly a hint of mastic on metal connections - Left electrical lines uncapped without a junction box. Just twisted and tapped it laying in insulation. - installed a non functioning water pump and water spilled over (actually replaced maybe 3 pumps? - cracked specialized ceiling plaster because of the moister but couldn't fix it. Hired another company - probably been out here 6 times trying to fix it, but as soon as they leave the freezes again - that's when I found loose ductwork everywhere. I could stick my hand in one of the return ducts - electrical in general is sketch. The guy said that's how they did it in Venezuela - electrical box is inside lines, shoved into outside lines and caulked to fill the hole Will most likely end up fixing myself. Luckily I know the basics, maybe more than these guys.

Temperatures were up to 100 degrees these days and extremely uncomfortable for us including for our two year Granddaughter, especially at nap time. I want to alert the public to the unscrupulous actions of this Lakewood-based company…read more A year ago a serviceman from Walrath Heating and Air Conditioning alerted me that my 20 year-old furnace was on its last leg. He suggested that I plan to save $6000 to $7000 for a new one this fall. In November I met with a Walrath salesperson who evaluated where the furnace was located in my crawl space and advised that the price would be $8000. Two days later his written proposal came in at $10,000. When I asked him about the difference, he said that he had forgotten to add in how labor intensive my particular installation would be. He was certain it would go into a second day. I took him at his word. It took the workmen less than 6 hours to complete the job. The salesman and head of the company - now called Walrath Mechanical - refuse to talk to me about the $2000 extra I was charged for labor that was not required. This is a scam. I have since noted on Yelp that I am not the only reviewer of Walrath who trusted a grossly inflated bid. These guys are crooks. Homeowners like me and managers of commercial properties may have once appreciated this small company. Don't be fooled - they no longer care about you.
