They also make a point to only carry the higher quality diamonds and to always have a few larger ones on hand. The very first thing the sales lady said to us when she looked at it was "well we need to see if this is even real. It looks to me like moissanite." then she turned and left with it, leaving a standing there for a few minutes. She came back and said " well it tests as a diamond" as if she was surprised. Then she ask if we'd like to look at some settings. I could not believe she would say something that rude. I worked at Tiffany's in college, and would have never ever said something like that, a) out loud, or b) first, no matter what I thought. We just said no thank you we don't care to look around, took the diamond and left. She seemed truly surprised that we didn't want to continue doing business with her. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but I will not sit foot in there again. We went to Stone Oak jewelers instead and received excellent customer service, education about this beautiful old stone (which they recognized the value of immediately ) a reasonable price, and couldn't be happier.
