Just relax... I've done a few floats from the small pods that made me feel claustrophobic to the large rooms that were overpriced. I've finally found my happy medium here! I'm always looking for ways to relax. I love foot massages & salt caves for quickies. I'm now adding this gem to my list. The pod is actually very large. I asked if my man who is 6 7' could fit and the response was yes these were built for athletes and will hold someone 7 feet tall! Very exciting and bringing him next time! I'll admit that I was very weary about spending $50 (I had a Groupon, so prices are usually much higher than that) to lay in a "bathtub" for 60 minutes, but, being one to give everything a chance, I tried it out and have already booked my next appointment. This facility is very nice, welcoming, and comfortable. The foyer area is warm and is decorated with a variety of crystals and Himalayan salt lamps. The waiting area has tea, water, and adult coloring books. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the introductory video was weird, sometime comical, and helpful. You get your own room that you can lock, which prevents some people from randomly entering your room. The room has a shower and the big floatation pod. It felt clean, nice and well kept. You can totally go at your own pace and ease into the sensory deprivation as you have control over everything. You can leave the pod door up, you can leave the lights on, and you can leave the music on, or you can go full out sensory deprivation. The pod has gentle water jets that bubble the water when your time is about up. The floatation pod is filled with salt water, and they provide Vaseline for you just in case you have a cut and a fresh water spray bottle just in case you get some salt water in your eyes. My friend and I were so zenned out afterwards that we sat in the waiting area drinking tea and coloring for about an hour without talking to each other. It is all the euphoria that drugs can do for you, but without the drugs and the weird mental handicap they have. I have meditate and do yoga regularly and has never achieved that stay of peace, calm, and balance till then. It's not for everyone, but take it at your own pace and give in to the process and you will enjoy it. I did a lot of research and found this place to be one of the best to do this. I've been going to Trust REST Float Spa since June 2018. I usually go once a month for a 60 minute float session. As soon as enter the spa, I am always greeted with a warm welcome. The staff members are super nice and accommodating. The waiting room has a oxygen bar that you can use after your float if you are a member. I love the ambience and all of the Himalayan salt lamps. There are a handful of rooms with sensory deprivation tanks in the spa. Each room has a shower with towels, ear plugs and a small packet of vaseline in case you have any open wounds. Do not shave your body the day of your float or you are not going to have a pleasant experience. :-O Once you are in the tank, you can use a floatation pillow to help level your head. You also have the option to keep the lights and music on. If you want a full sensory deprivation tank experience, I would turn both of them off. Just know that it takes a few sessions to really get comfortable in the tank, but it's worth it. I always feel so relaxed after leaving. Happy Floating! read more

This was my first time trying float therapy. It was amazing. I went in very stressed because my dog had to go to the emergency room back home in Florida while I was in Vegas. I was crying and stressed when I went in the float tank and half way through I completely calmed down and went into a deep meditative state. Then I felt my spine realign. I felt amazing when I got out. I flew home that night to get back to my dog and normally my lower back is tight and sore but I have no soreness or tightness in my lower back hips or spine.. My one star review is solely based on my float experience inside the pod and NOT customer service. The lady who greeted me at the front was incredibly sweet and helpful, and she makes the best organic hibiscus tea! I have nothing but positive things to say about her. A rare amount of people who try float therapy become extremely nauseous to the point where they feel disoriented and want to vomit. That was me. I didn't vomit though (thank GOD or else I would have been charged $500 for clean up), but I barely made it 15 minutes without rushing to the shower. The whole experience was traumatic in general... it wasn't for me. Also, my pod smelled like B.O. It was really bad. I couldn't relax because of how awful it smelled in there! Apparently it was just my pod because my husband said there was no such odor in his. I can't recommend this place unfortunately. Hopefully you aren't one of the unlucky ones like I am. The idea of floating in a pod filled with water and 1200 lbs of Epsom salt in dark silence for 60 minutes wasn't on the top of my bucket list, but with online deals bringing the price down to the equivalent value of a massage, it sounded as a good time as any to give it a shot. Several friends raved about the experience with such remarks as "opening up the Google search of your brain" to "feeling like the 1 hour mark after 'shroom tea" to "mentally going to Mars". Their levels of sobriety ranged from stone cold to having smoked an ounce in the parking lot. I was somewhere in between. The friendly attendant, John, clearly explained what to do and how to operate the pod. Being a first timer, I also watched a 6 minute video on how to maximize my float time which offered some helpful suggestions (body position, breathing) while glazing over some new age, self improvement stuff. John also informed me to hang in their relaxation room upon finishing since many feel disoriented and extremely euphoric afterwards. Uhhh..what?? So I get out of the shower, put the ear plugs in, get in the pod..... "And I'm floating in a most peculiar way" I initially found the whole thing a bit comical. Here I am...naked, in a dark and confined space, lying in 93.5 degree water...isn't this a torture method in Guantanamo Bay? But after I got over the initial weirdness, things got interesting.... "And the stars look very different today" It definitely felt like drifting in outer space. My mind darted through a billion thoughts before I was able to end up in a kind of neutral, semi-conscious, relaxed zone. I could not believe I was in the pod for only an hour as it felt much longer than that. They claim health benefits like the improvement of memory/sports performance/sleep quality, alleviating PMS, helping with creativity, softer skin etc. Let me tell you....my PMS was fuckin loooong gooooone!!! :P I don't know about this experience helping with all that, but I definitely left in a prolonged state of relaxation. Seriously, where do I start? My younger brother first told me about this place and said it was absolutely amazing. He's 18 and loves trying new things no matter how "out there" they seem and more than that, he loves sharing his experiences with others so I knew I had to try this for him. As fate would have it, Andrea also won a free floating session through Facebook so she booked an appointment for the both of us for last night. Unfortunately when we showed up my appointment was nowhere to be found and I was disappointed :/ BUT then enter Raquel, one of the owners, who completely saved the day! Raquel was very apologetic though it wasn't her fault and offered me a Halotherapy session, which is dry salt. If it's your first time you are asked to watch a five minute video explaining the Floating bed. Though I didn't float, I did notice after my session in the Halotherapy bed that a lot of the things that the video says the floating will do also happen in the bed. It's hard to describe what the bed looks like so I attached two photos of it. Basically it's like a tanning bed except made out of wood and the top is glass. If you look at the photos you'll see that you lay on wooden little planks and underneath those planks is the salt. The lights you see are white, indicating the bed is off; they turn red when it's on. I got in with just underwear (I don't like the word 'panties'...*shudder*) and laid down. There is a wooden triangle in the bed that can be moved up and down on one side to make it taller or shorts (the same way you can move the back of a pool chair), or you can completely remove it. I left it in - it's intended for your legs to help circulation. The wooden bed was uncomfortable at first. I kept shifting, trying to get comfortable but what I noticed after about five minutes of laying still that the pain I felt was the bed hitting pressure points and the pain actually felt good and helped my back. I laid there for a while and was waiting to see the mist that Raquel told me about. Apparently the mist is infused with the salt and you're supposed to take deep breaths. I'm not sure how much time went by but I started to get sleepy and I wasn't sure if it was because I was bored waiting for something to happen or because it was doing what it was meant to. The video explains that you'll eventually start to drift off without realizing it and you can have lucid dreams. That's exactly what happened. Without realizing it I had fallen asleep and even though I knew in my mind that my dreams were dreams, I still felt ridiculously rested - like I had been sleeping for hours when in reality I was only asleep for maybe 10 minutes. When I got done, I went to the room that is provided to guests which has four chairs and is surrounded by salt lamps. You are offered water and tea. There are also books that help pick salt lamps and different rocks. While I was there I met a man who did the floating treatment and he told me that the first time he did it he was convinced that there was water running in the room he was in but there wasn't. Regardless, he heard waterfalls. The next time he heard crickets. Amazing. Imagine how relaxed he was. My GF loved it as well. This was my first float and we opted to try this in lieu of doing a Spa day. My friend had to be convinced a little as she's claustrophobic and a little bit germaphobic, but as a sometimes overwhelmed mom of 4 I thought it would be a benefit to her. Although it wasn't a life changing experience as some people have said, it was really deeply relaxing and pleasant. The staff were very accommodating and relaxed themselves, the small lobby check in area had an assortment of herbal remedies and balms, Himalayan salt lamps and crystals for display and purchase, all at very reasonable prices. I picked up a handful of crystals for my kids for very cheap, under $1 a piece for beautiful specimens. The intro video was a little silly and amateur, but informational and short. The bathrooms, individual rooms, and vanity areas were all very clean and comfortable. Each room has a small tiled shower with bodywash/shampoo/conditioner for your use to rinse off before and after. The tanks themselves are very pleasing with a rounded shape and soft lighting and an easy to open hatch. There is a small shelf inside for your spray bottle and washcloth should you need to rinse off your eyes/face. easily accessible knobs/buttons for light/music options, the music is on a 25 min timer but you can shut it off earlier. As far as the experience, I know it varies by person. It took me a while to truly relax and I don't think I ever fell asleep. Due to the salt you are buoyant enough to properly float and you should not get any of the water on your face unless you move around/splash yourself (that's what the washcloth and spray bottle are for). For me personally I did not get the sensation of floating in space or sensory deprivation aspect. The water was a little too cold to lose awareness of it, but it was still very pleasant and likely something I will do again. read more

Came here with my mom for a girl's day. We've never been to a float spa before and so this was a completely new experience for us. Alex helped walk us through it all and I ended up doing a salt room therapy also (unsure if that's what it's called). I have asthma so it really helped open up my respiratory system. The float pods were so nice and relaxing. You can choose if you want the lights on or off and what color lights you want. You can also choose if you want some relaxing music or if you want total silence and you can decide if you want the the pod open or closed. The experience is completely customizable to fit your preferences. Afterwards, we finished up at the O2 bar. Everything was a wonderful experience. Alex was so personable and helpful. Disgusting business practices and lies. You are lying. Not only did you reply to me directly that they never expire when we signed up, you changed your reply later like the scamming liars you are. You lied when we signed up and you lied on here. You wont take responsibility because it costs money when you lie to your clients. We call that the bait and switch in the business world and it makes you thieves. Unethical and immoral. You steal from people and call yourself a business. The customer service, atmosphere, and experience were all top notch. This was definitely an interesting way to spend a couple hours. Protip: Protect your head when you first get in the pod to float. I ended up knocking my dome as I drifted to the wall of my pod. It's probably better if you don't start out this way. Since it was my first time, I spent the first portion of my hour fiddling with lights and music. The lights had one mode which cycled through all the colors every second. Stay away from this mode if you're epileptic. Eventually, I settled on no music and no lights. Protip #2: It gets pretty humid in the pod if you close the lid. You can try cracking the pod to let some air in if you find it difficult to breathe. A folded towel can be used to keep the lid from closing all the way. The sensation you get is pretty unique if you have never tried sensory deprivation or deep meditation. The sounds your body makes become much more apparent. Focusing on the sound of yourself breathing can be a bit distracting, but it eventually becomes background noise once you shift your focus to just relaxing. Imagine you just ate some of those illegal mushrooms. You can get a similar sensation here. You just won't get all the trippy visuals. read more

Maybe it was me, not being able to get into the relaxation mode, but I just could not get to the point of relaxation that I expected. I found it uncomfortable to find a position to lay and just never hit that relax zone. As well, even though I used the ear plugs and I typically never have issue with water in my ears... owner messaged me, copied below, i thought publicly but it was private, and we went back and forth a little. I eventually got them to send me a list of the last 17 floats i paid for, showing 15 used and 2 expired. I asked again for documentation of me being told about expiration dates, owner replied that I "was most definitely told" about expiration dates and they felt they've "gone above and beyond." The list of 17 floats demonstrates that they didn't use the floats in a way to avoid expiration dates and that was demonstrated by employees when I'd ask how many floats remained and they told me they are in different areas so was given wrong numbers and then updated 30 seconds later when employee looked in another area, so owner Rene statement about software using next to expire automatically isn't true. Huge amounts of reviews on here are from company that was bought by True Rest, so a change in ownership and business practices have occurred and the old reviews remain. I'll be driving a few minutes further to another floating fulfillment center as I do enjoy and recommend floating, recommend you do the same! 8/15/2019 Hi Terence, True REST Float Spa offers a monthly membership float program in which floats never expire or discount packages of floats that must be used within 6 months of purchase. When a client is floating using a discount package such as your purchase we always automatically deduct the oldest floats before they expire. This is our second float. Good but do like the couple float better. Just personal preference. The spa very clean, decor is nice and inviting. Had some tea prior, while watching the introduction video and water afterwards. Michelle tried a 10 minute oxygen treatment after float ( which is included in the first float). From the very friendly staff to the reflection room to the state of the art tank that is equipped with everything you need including an Auxiliary jack where you can relax to your own music if you so choose. Love this place! We are all big balls of nervous system tension and this is like mediation on steroids. Puts you at complete peace when you get the water completely still, lights off and sound off and then... Open your eyes and start going lucid. The lucid dream state will empty your nervous systems tank allowing you to live life again. Our dopamine resets more and more each time we do it and it causes us to not get upset, frustrated or overwhelmed with things how we would before but also things we wouldn't laugh at or be happy about will have us rolling on the floor laughing and feeling free in our spirit. This is a cleanse for your nervous system. Make sure you come as close to once a week as you can for the first month. Overwhelm your body with this at first and it will change your life. Upon entering your greeted by amazing staff. Then your led to watch an instructional video if you've never done this before. After which your led to your own personal room with pod. The rooms and interior are very clean. The pod was very easy to use. You have the choice of low light or complete darkness. I chose complete deprivation to be immersed in the moment. This was an amazing experience and would truly recommend this to anyone who needs to de-stress or just wind down. I made an appointment back in September and the morning of my appointment, I got a call from someone I was around in the last few days that they were exposed to someone who had tested positive for COVID-19. They were in the process of getting tested and did the right thing by letting me know. I called the office and no one answered. I left a voicemail explaining what happened and if I could cancel my appointment without any penalties due the fact I was on my way to get a COVID-19 test since I was potentially recently exposed. I completely understand and am aware of the cancelation policy, but no one called me back. I got a text message my appointment was canceled. I checked my account and I was still charged the cancelation fee. This doesn't surprise me considering there is nothing on their website that is immediately apparent of the precautions they're taking during a global pandemic. Quite frankly, if someone would have just called me, I would have been completely okay with them charging me the full amount with the stipulation I could redeem at a later date. This is a luxury service in a time people are more cautious with spending their money and they thought $49 was more lucrative than simply reaching out to a potentially regular customer and trying to work through extenuating circumstances. read more
