On 1/9/2025, they replaced the catalytic converter with a allege new one the cost $1990.52. I went back to them a few weeks later told them something was still wrong with the vehicle they said they did not find anything. On 7/16/2026, something was wrong with my vehicle. Parked it until I could get it checked out. On 8/3/2026, a diagnostic testing at auto zone confirmed I need a new catalytic converter. On 8/4/2026, Patriot Auto confirmed it was the catalytic converter. However, they said it was my fault it needed repair again. They claimed I have not taken care of my vehicle, said I did not get my oil changed in a timely manner and a whole bunch of other nonsense that had nothing to do with fixing my vehicle. They (Brian) offered to fix the same thing again for 3,400-3,500. They said I was outside my warranty and it was nothing they could do. The owner female was very irate and accusatory towards me and upset that I called my credit card company to dispute a bill that I paid in full already. I would not recommend them because I don't believe that they put a new catalytic converter on my vehicle. A catalytic converter should get between 70,000-100,000 miles. And my vehicle is at 99,890 miles. They didn't even try to work with me to help with this situation. Another female who said her name was Maria said she did not know if they put a new one on my vehicle. The owner said you can't put used catalytic converters on vehicle. I asked her then why are people stealing catalytic converters? This whole situation is very upsetting. Use them with caution. The resolution was: I was told not to call there again and that they reserve the right to refuse service to me. I was not rude or disrespectful to anyone. I just wanted to get my vehicle fix since you claimed you fixed it the first time.

1 STAR -- EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL…read more This place is extremely unprofessional. No one answers the phone, and the information they have listed online is inaccurate. I had just purchased a vehicle that is brand new to me. The seller drove the vehicle to my rental community, dropped it off, and removed their tags. The vehicle had not even been sitting there for two hours after the tags were removed before GIR Towing and Recovery came into my community and towed it. What concerns me even more is the way the vehicle was removed. Instead of placing the vehicle on a flatbed, they dragged it out of the community. I sincerely hope there is no damage to my vehicle because of the way it was towed. I work from home and began calling them at approximately 12:30 p.m. I continued calling and sending text messages throughout the entire afternoon until I got off work at 7:00 p.m. Not one person answered my calls or responded to my messages. The phone number they provide is a cell phone number with no voicemail box set up, so you cannot even leave a message. Their information online says they are open 24 hours, but when I physically went to the location at approximately 7:20 p.m., they were CLOSED. I was then told that they actually close at 5:00 p.m. So which is it? If you are not open 24 hours, your business information should not say you are. If customers cannot reach anyone by phone or text, those should not be advertised as reliable ways to contact the business. At minimum, there should be a working phone number, voicemail, accurate business hours, and some way for a person whose vehicle has been towed to actually reach someone. Now I have to go back this morning, and because their posted hours apparently aren't accurate, I don't even know what time they actually open. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. My biggest concern now is getting my newly purchased vehicle back and making sure there is no damage from the way it was removed and towed.

I was referred to this place…read moreby my companies Fleet Manager so I called before towing my car over to them and they told me that the soonest appointment they had was 6 days from the day I was calling - totally fine. I called at the end of the day on the day they said I had an appointment and they said they didn't have time to look at it that day but would look at it in the morning. Annoying but ok. I called towards the end of the next day and they told me that they were busy and couldn't look at it. When I explained that they had said I had an appointment he gave me an attitude and said well you can just tow it back off if you don't like it and honestly with the way this conversation is going I would prefer that. I tried to deescalate the situation and then hung up and my father called to check in assuming that it was because I was a woman they were pushing me around and when my dad said he didn't appreciate the way he talked to me he said I am going to push the car off my lot and you can just deal with it. Then we received word that if we did not get the car from where he pushed it too by 8pm they would tow it themselves. Absolutely ridiculous that instead of taking accountability for the fact that they were pushing us around they resorted to such extreme measures. NEVER bring your car here if you plan on having it looked at in any type of timely fashion.

Last week when I got a new message on my dash my thought was immediately "this is it, this is the end." I called SSA and told them the message. They suggested I get my car towed there to avoid any possible damage. Again, I thought this is it. I got my car towed there and that same day I got the call. There was a fix - no worries! I proceeded to have some other maintenance work done at the same time as like I said, I love my car. I picked up my car last night and it feels like a new car again. I have been going to SSA since they first opened and I don't trust my baby with anyone but them. They are honest and trustworthy. Thank you SSA for taking care of all of our vehicles!

I can't say enough and there aren't enough stars to put on a review!!! Had a transmission start to go on a 2018 Suburban, and left it in the lot on a Sunday after speaking with Mitch on Friday. I did not expect them to even get to it on Monday since this was not scheduled or anything. Got a call Monday with diagnosis, estimate, and an expected completion date. He called a few days later to update me on the progress and even confirmed it would be done sooner than initially expected. The rebuild included road testing, and the odometer proved that was done sufficiently. The bill came in just a bit lower than the estimate. I had done my research on this beforehand, and spoken to others with the same vehicle and knew this was a fair price. I am confident I wasn't ripped off. No BS, not shady, no surprises. Just fair, honest business. This place is one of very few left out there that you can trust.
