One can buy whole bean or ground and can make their own mix; for example, I know some who buys a french roast half caffeinated, half decaf. K-cups are also available. This was my first trip here and I was on the hunt for espresso. They have an espresso bean imported from Italy. The whole beans were weighed and ground to use in an electric espresso machine lickety-split. I have used it and it is yummy! I found out they also offer a rewards program; once you buy 10#, you get a pound free! They have limited hours, so make sure you check they're open before you head out. We entered and found a small lounge (for first responders etc) and someone came out to show us the merchandise. We bought a few bags of coffee and shirts and got to see the production side too. Super nice people, great cause, and GREAT coffee!! We will be ordering from them in the future. It would be awesome to see them grow but keep humble as one of their shirts says. Definitely hop on their website and order some to try!!

Super high ceilings, local art on the walls, comfortable seats, and friendly folks behind the counter. While I don't drink coffee, I was purchasing nine pounds of coffee (it's a stocking stuffer in our family) for other people. It seems like Union Place typically has an excellent and varied selection of different beans, but it was too close to Christmas and they were running low on it all. My friend came out from behind the counter, and helped my navigate what was still available. I got a lot of beans, they ground them for me for the right filters (while I sat in a very comfortable chair), and I was out of there. If you actually drink coffee, I bet you'll like this place even better than I do.
