This is a different kind of Chick Fil A and you have to choose to dine in to get the whole experience. One side of the building is the regular chick fil an and the other side of the building is a restaurant with servers that come to your table. They have an extensive menu that offers everything from waffles to fried pickles. The restaurant is so cute and has a button you can press to start a train, little red door, and fun for kids. I've never had waffles, or a skillet or fried pickles at my local chick fil a but these items were so delicious, savory, and definitely order the salsa on the side for the skillet. What a fun Chick-fil-A! We ate our meal at the sit down side of the restaurant where a server comes to take your order. The service was great. All the food was pretty good too, and I loved getting to try some unique and new items! The restaurant is kid friendly: there is a special red door for kids to enter and a cool train with a button you can press to activate. For our appetizer, we had the Battered Pickles which were decent. My husband had the Spicy Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffles and he enjoyed them. I had the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich and it was delicious and as I've come to expect. We all shared our sides, so I got to try the Crispy Sprouts, Corn Bread Muffins, Fried Okra, and Sweet Potato Soufflé. I don't really eat okra, but I loved their Fried Okra. I thought the Crispy Sprouts and Corn Bread Muffin were amazing as well. How cool is this Chick-fil-A??? I never knew this place existed! No Chick-fil-A you've ever been in is like this! Go left and it's your traditional Chick-fil-A, go right and they will seat you and bring you a menu complete with appetizers! Crazy! There is a toy train on tracks that encircles the ceiling and you can push a button to make it go around! The menu is a lot more than the traditional restaurant offers. You can pick from a large variety of side items and even many salads to pick from. They have fried pickles that are very good! The dining room is clean as are the restrooms. Just like you expect from Chick-fil-A. The prices are only slightly higher, but you do get more food than you expect! The staff, as with any Chick-fil-A anywhere, is very friendly and courteous. The food was hot and very good! I recommend the Mac and cheese! It was much better than I expected! We will eat here again when we come back to Rome! Thank you! read more

I was in town on business and happened to notice this rear Chick-fil-A location. I stop by for dinner and it did not disappoint. There is a regular Chick-fil-A on one side in a sit down restaurant on the other. You will find interesting many choices that are not available at any other location such as loaded waffle fries, sweet potato soufflé, fried pickles, and fried okra. I was at Truett's today and yes they were very busy. I had 2 orders. Since I was trying to get back to work, I didn't check my order until I was away from Truetts. I didn't have one of my sandwiches. So I went to Riverside Chick fil a and parked (yes they were very busy too) ran up to the drive thru window and told them I needed a sandwich and bbq sauce. The sweet lady at the window gave me a sandwich with bbq sauce! No charge. So very kind and made my stressful day more enjoyable. read more

Good grief this Chick-fil-A location is terrible. Definitely a black eye on the Chick-fil-A brand! Called ahead to make for certain they have chicken soup...get to drive-thru and they tell us nope won't have it until Monday. I travel a lot and genuinely I have visited well over a hundred Chick-fil-A locations in the past year and ever since they have redone this one it is not the same. Layout and service aren't anywhere near up to par with other locations and they don't seem to care. Multiple visits, multiple disappointments...hopefully we've learned our lesson and will always go elsewhere. read more

There are not many gluten free places in which a celiac can eat in Rome Georgia. If you need a safe out, choose chickfila. They are clean, food is good and the staff her is very pleasurable. I would highly recommend eating in this pleasurably clean environment. read more

The Chick Fil A in Rome, GA is a dwarf house, so you get the benefit of an expanded menu. This chick fil a is the "social" fast food place of Rome. Just like Rome, it is a "clicky" place to eat. One can't help but think that Chick Fil A is just a chain and what makes these people so incredibly snooty! It is truly the fast food place to see and be seen in Rome, GA. Being a dwarf house, they offer cole slaw and grilled cheese sandwiches which go well with the chicken nuggets. Chick Fil A locations that are not dwarf houses don't offer the slaw or grilled cheese, so this is a benefit. The location is very clean. We always leave hungry. read more

My family eats here regularly. I am refusing to go back as we get take out usually several times a week for family of six. It has become a regular experience for our order to be wrong. Sometimes with food being totally left out. Wrong or no condiments, napkins, eating utensils And straws left out. Plain sandwich rather than deluxe. Always to their advantage. It's hard to go through a large order for 6 to make sure it's all correct so my choice is to go elsewhere. There isn't parking for mobile orders. It is quiet a hassle to find parking and walk into the store.

Clean, friendly and good fast food type meals. Not the healthiest foods but there are healthy choices available. Great dining experiences for the family or with friends. One caution: if driving through check your order before leaving, I've gotten home at least twice with missing meals. read more

my daughter went to Chick-fil-A. She had the flu. Her friend was driving she asked for soup. They brought it out and hand it to her and she looked in the bag and lifted up the suit to make sure it was right. It was scorching hot as usual, the lid popped off in the soup fell all over her leg and burned her tremendously first and second-degree burns ended up in the hospital the ER, we had to call twice and let them know someone called us the next afternoon not to mention her friend got stuff on her to from the soup and it strode all over her car trying to get the soup off of her burning and screaming for help and asking for napkins, while the employees stood around just looking finally couple of minutes went by and finally someone gave her four napkins. It still remains all over her car and her friend that was driving's foot slipped off of the gas pedal and ran into the back of the car in front of her trying to help her get the soup off of her because she was burning from the soup . I was trying to upload photos here, but it doesn't let me so people can see this, but it won't allow me too. She now will be scarred from this burns up her upper thought her knee, her stomach in her hand, and I was told from their insurance adjuster they have to see if they are liable I said pull your cameras while we're on the phone. She said she was going over the video now trying to find it a few minutes later, after talking to my granddaughter about what it happened to her she told her she was gonna have to find the video and be able to pull it up, that was a lie to start with after she had just told us she was reviewing the video to ladies got out of the car angry, and approached my granddaughter, while she was burning saw what it happened and told him to get her out of there and get her to the hospital We have always loved eating at Chick-fil-A, but this is absolutely done it for us in his devastating with huge marks that will probably scored in left on my child. if something isn't done, we are pursuing action against this. They have always had the hottest soup ever in the cars are too close together to start with and that line in it should change that should be stopped. The soup should not be as hot in the car should not follow behind one another so close for this to happen to someone again please be careful of their soup and other ingredients that you purchased. read more

I love Chick-fil-A, but not this location. It was a family favorite before the remodel. Now it feels cold and industrial. Further every time we go SOMETHING is wrong. Examples: Missing condiments, food overcooked, fries cold, fries undercooked, fries overcooked, fries missing, fry boxes half full, wrong sandwiches, missing pickles, wrong sandwiches, wrong number of fingers or nuggets, wrong bun selections...I could go on and on. Our family regularly debates to go or not to go because of the inconsistencies. We have learned to EXPECT problems and it makes the experience less stressful when we have to get something corrected. My wife has called management a couple of time. Managers are always receptive and usually offer some type of compensation, but all we want is the food consistency to be what it was when it was Dwarf House. The staff is ALWAYS friendly...and we do love these people. It hurts to leave any Chick-fil-A a negative review...but we have years of experience with them going back to the old Riverbend Mall location...plus many others across the country. It makes us sad that this location is so disappointing. We choose the Chick-fil-A box on Riverside if ever we have the option. They are a five star location with a limited menu and no indoor OR outdoor seating...drive thru only. I'm sure we will continue to come to this location on occasion and it is my sincere hope to update this to a five star review one day. read more

I love chick fil a and visit often. Since the opening of this new store, my visits have gone down hill. I don't like complaining or telling on people but some of the employees there just shock me. They don't have the "chick fil a attitude". There is one young lady, I believe her name is Jada. I tried to read her name tag last visit but it wasn't very visible. She took my order in the drive through and was obviously in a rush to talk to her friends more so than do her job. As soon as she finished my order, she ran right back to them. She was rushing me and was frustrated if I asked questions. I am an older lady with slight hearing loss and she was speaking very low almost as if she was miserable. read more
