I was in the jewelry district with a friend, who was helping me search for the perfect engagement ring to propose to my girlfriend. we had looked at about 20-30 diamonds other places that day and we gotten to the point where I was ready to go ahead and purchase another stone and setting from another broker (one that was not GIA certified - yikes!). I was not thinking that I would like to go with a halo, because the ones I had seen looked so disjointed, but the setting I ended up selecting was a halo because of how stunning and natural it looked.
