We have been to Cravings multiple times and the sandwiches are delicious. They have gluten free options. The service was great!

I came in on a Thursday during Strawberry Days and ordered an Orange Creamsicle float and a chocolate chip cookie. It was really busy, which I expected--but despite ordering well before at least 16 other groups, I didn't receive my float until 50 minutes later. Everyone else in my group got their food, and I even followed up with a staff member partway through. She apologized and said she'd get right on it, but it still took a long time after that. The float itself was fine, but the cookie was pretty tough and not enjoyable. The staff was friendly, but there was clearly a lack of order prioritization or communication in the kitchen. The restaurant also feels a bit rundown--tables were sticky even after being wiped down, and parts of the space looked like unfinished or forgotten decor ideas shoved to the side. The jam was nice to dip the sandwich in and add a little sweetness. The fries were just okay. Kind of soggy and needed some more seasoning. Waited an hour for our food. My 10 month was about to lose it. The food was disgusting... we got their most popular items supposedly and I'm legit sick to my stomach. This setup was a little funky for us. Walking all the way to the back of the room to order was a little wonky, because we didn't see any signs or indication that we should do that. We just had to figure it out. Waitstaff were not very helpful, so the owner/manager might want to give them more training to be more helpful and friendly to new customers, so that the customers will return. Descriptions of the sandwiches are somewhat vague, so when hubby ordered the Pizza Melt, he actually thought it was a pizza. He felt it needed more flavor, like maybe (more?) Italian seasoning. My ABC grilled cheese was surprisingly lacking in cheese and apple flavor. I did get some delicious bites when the cheese had hit the griddle, and gotten a toasty char. Yum! Really good! The cashier was super sweet. Weird vibes in terms of the owner/boss though which is why no 5 stars. Not only was she dressed in pajamas but her hair was in a messy bun (not an actual messy bun, like a messy bun almost dirty) and it looked like she just rolled out of bed. Furthermore, when the sweet cashier was providing me great customer service by asking if I wanted ice in my drink - the boss made comments to her and essentially asked why she did that and kind of got on her case about it. I personally appreciated it and don't understand being upset with your employee for providing great customer service when you yourself could improve your service, attitude, and appearance for your restaurant. Never been to a place where a boss/owner makes eye contact with you and doesn't even give a smile or say hi. Also never been to a place where a boss was in pajamas. I think the reason it struck me the wrong way so much is because there is also a sign in the kitchen that states, "the boss isn't always right but the boss is still the boss." My wife had surgery on Tuesday and by today, Saturday, 7/12/2025 she needed to eat. She asked to try Cravings. I ordered onlline from their website for pickup at like 7:20 and the pickup time was 7:50 PM. Not bad. So I left early and arrived at 7:40. The place was dead. They were helping no one. I waited a bit and someone asked to help me and I told them I was there to pick up an online order. The girl went in back for a minute and came out and told me it'd be out shortly. Well, I waited, and waited, and waited, while watching people in the kitchen fart around. Finally I made eye contact with another girl who came out and asked if I had been helped. I told her I was waiting for an online order picup. She asked my name and went in back. She was hustling around but I still had to wait a good bit more. at about 7:58 I finally got my order. a sandwidch, mac and cheese, and soup and a drink. Well, I got it home and, shock, the sandwich was lukewarm at best. The mac and cheese cold. The drink watered down, clearly from the ice melting. this is my second time to bistro in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I ambience of raw wood and iron trusses with stain cement on the floor. It fits the feeling very well. The food is excellent and the spectacular. Especially Natalie, who helped me with an order right at closing time and made the day of the person I delivered it to. I'm frustrated with is the lack of being able to customize my sandwich. I love the Thanksgiving one. Before 2020 I could take the stuffing, beans and bacon off. Then a few years ago they started mixing the mashed potatoes and the stuffing together. Because they prep it that way now. I hate stuffing. But I sucked it up. Well today (8/6/25) I called in to order. And now they prep the green beans into the mashed potatoes stuffing mix. I chose not to order anything. If you aren't going allow any substitutes on your sandwiches. You need to put that on your menu. But my question is why would you mix ingredients together?! They have different shelf life's. People have different dietary needs. What if someone is allergic to green beans?! I get it might be easier for you. But now i can't eat the main sandwich I like. You offer gluten free bread. But make it so someone can't eat this sandwich because you are literally putting gluten in your sandwich. read more

We LOVE Cravings so much - you can't go wrong with melted, gooey cheese!! Our girls love the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) and I literally couldn't pick a favorite. I'd highly recommend the ABC (Apple Bacon Cheese). The salty cheese and the freshness of the apples is just the perfect combination. I'd also recommend ANYTHING with the Mac and cheese - it's unlike any Mac and Cheese I've ever had before because it's smoky, sweet, and salty. Just WHOA. 10/10 for this place. Also to note-I had a group of five other people tasting the dishes, since I hate cheese. But I carefully gathered their feedback and impressions, so you're getting good data. At first glance, you can tell that this mac and cheese is different. First, they use shells instead of macaroni noodles. And it's very creamy-almost soupy. Then, they top it off with.....bacon. I have been wanting to check out Cravings Bistro for quite a while. I was happy with my visit but I think I was hoping for more. I plan to visit again soon and hopefully have an even better experience. First, parking is quite difficult. It is located in a bit of a "downtown" spot for Pleasant Grove. I had to parallel park and then either jaywalk or walk a long two blocks to the next intersection. Upon walking in, I did notice that the building had that "old building" smell. I am not sure what else to call it. For a place with such amazing comfort food, it took me by surprise. Of course, this is to no fault of the business but it was noticeable throughout my time at Cravings Bistro. I visited during the month of November so there was a Thanksgiving special. It was a grilled cheese sandwich with pretty much everything you would get on a Thanksgiving plate, directly on the sandwich. See, the ingredients themselves sounded amazing but I wasn't all that thrilled with it being stuffed on a sandwich so I requested the ingredients to be put on the side. It took the employees probably 5 minutes to figure out how to enter this in the system but I am very grateful they were willing to fulfill my request. The food did seem to take quite a bit of time before it was ready but with what kind of food it was, this doesn't surprise me or disappoint me one bit. It was very much so worth it once I did receive the food. A fun fact about me that I am oftentimes sharing during an icebreaker is that I can cook anything except grilled cheese. I don't know what it is but grilled cheese is very difficult for me to be able to pull off. I was very happy with Cravings Bistro and everything they had to offer but they have SO MUCH on their menu that I definitely need to go revisit and see what they are all about again. The service was awesome and it is in a good location--next to a lot of cute shops and things to do. I plan on being back sometime in the future. read more

It's great that you can order different sizes of sandwiches and soup to fit your needs... And speaking of soup, the Tomato Basil is amazing!! Probably one of the best I've had. I always order a "dipper" of it and highly recommend you do the same! My only complaint is that it has taken awhile to get my food both times that I've come. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now; and I'm glad I did! After looking at reviews I knew exactly what I wanted: Deep Fried Monte Cristo and the Grilled BBQ Mac Sandwich! The turkey was a fresh carved style turkey with ham and cheese, Deep Fried and then you have a Raspberry Jam to dip it in...Sounds weird if you've never had it, but don't knock it til you try it! I've had the Monte Cristo at Disneyland and this one from Cravings is the closest I've had to Disneyland's version. **Heads up: Watch out for powdered sugar on the Monte Cristo...maybe don't wear black ;) it gets all over...or maybe I'm just a messy eater? The Grilled BBQ Mac is their Mac & Cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich with their BBQ Pot Roast. It was tasty! Good flavors. My husband said he would have wanted more meat in it. **Get your sandwich Parmesan Crusted, I haven't had it without it...but I wouldn't want to try it without the Parmesan crust!** Soups: I like that they have the "Dipper" option for just $1 * I was actually underwhelmed with their Tomato Soup, the flavor was just ok, I actually left most of it. * Their soup of the day was Ham & Potato and that was tastier than the Tomato. The Atmosphere was inviting and "home-y". They had a hodgepodge of different style tables and chairs and I liked it. After trying Cravings Bistro, I'm not sure there is a more perfect place than this one for grilled cheese! Simply looking at the menu pictures online for Cravings literally gave me a craving, so definite points should be given for that. Now, I'm a person who likes to save time when ordering so a restaurant with online ordering/call-ahead ordering is always high on my list so the restaurant can prepare my food while I'm driving there, and I must say the online ordering experience at Cravings Bistro is top-notch. The layout of their website and the ease of ordering gets SIX stars in my book. Upon our arrival at the restaurant, the food was ready (and so was my stomach omg) and still warm. I ordered the ABC which was slightly reminiscent of The Mouse Trap Truck's Nicolas Cage sandwich which I'm a HUGE fan of. That first bite sent a tingle of happiness and warmth down my spine, I'm telling ya. Melty, buttery, crispy, sweet, salty, warm...UGH okay, I have to stop there or I might die but let's just say I will definitely be back here. I do think a few minor updates should be made to the place: the napkins are TRASH. Literally, they're not good for anything. For a place that specializes in grilled cheese, you'd think that the napkins would be at least slightly more substantial. The decor could use updating both inside and out - if I hadn't read the Yelp reviews saying how good this place was, I would never have walked in off the street to try it. It's not very inviting tbh. It's been forever since I've been here due to the time length, but with the hope of shorter times and my spouse now being gluten free we decided to give it a go again. Luckily, it only took 30mins instead of over an hour, and the food was yummy as always. My spouse really loved the gluten free sandwich--it's so hard to find good gf anything and they were very considerate of cleanliness. If you're looking for a new place in Utah County to eat this is a great place to try! I enjoyed the manly Monte Cristo sandwich with a side of fries and my wife got the Mac n cheese grilled cheese. Both were delicious and the fries were perfectly cooked! On the downside, we did wait 45min to receive our food, not sure if they were short staffed or what, because it wasn't a busy evening and the wait was way too long.
