My vehicle was vandalized and the insurance company said it wasn't worth saving. Long story short the vehicle became a salvage and I needed to have a lights & system check to get the vehicle approved at the DMV. Most auto repair/ smog stations do not provide this service. Trust Auto Repair is certified to do this service. I came in with no appointment and they took me right in. The car passed and TRUST AUTO provided me the PASS paperwork and the DMV processed the paperwork. The price was $200, standard for this service. I had a great experience with this shop getting a full clutch replacement on my Evo X. Mike was quick with an estimate, friendly, up front and I feel like I can trust him. They got the car in late on a Saturday, and got the clutch replaced before 5:00 on Tuesday. Not bad for a job this extensive and needing to order parts. My final price ended up being less than quoted and I was never pressured to replace unrelated parts. Trust auto was not the lowest quote but by the end of the job were right there with the best priced shops and I doubt I would have received the same service and piece of mind elsewhere. The car is driving smoothly and I'm confident I can take it back without any fuss if I have any issues. Mike had recommended another tow company but I ended up using ASAP towing who quoted me one price and charged a higher when they arrived saying that I hadn't informed them my car was AWD when I had.
