SO glad that I found TH LV!!! I just purchased a house in Henderson and the house seemed almost perfect. As a first time home owner, I didn't think about things like how the swing of doors affect things like my laundry room. The contractors who built the house did something stupid and built the door to my laundry room to swing inward...therefore leaving no room For my dryer and thus, it is impossible for the door close all the way. This is horrible because my laundry room is connected to my garage and I don't want an opening without a door to my garage. Frustrated I frantically started looking for someone to fix this. I wish I could remember the names of the gentleman that came to my home but they were awesome! super professional and checked with me about the specifications of the jobs. I had them install 5 or 6 curtain rods which isn't a difficult job but the total experience was awesome. I have had them hang things on the walls inside and on my block walls as well. They are excellent at assembling furniture and other things that I cannot. I've had them do so much and have been satisfied with everything they've done. They've told me that they are wanting to start a specialty of serving the needs of seniors, that applies to me as well. I contacted Viri, who immediately got me an estimate, dates of availability, and her insurance and license information (for my property manager). Any question I had prior to starting the job, she quickly responded and reassured me that everything would get done for my tenant. The day of the job, they got into the house, called to get approval on any other repairs the tenant wanted, and completed the work. Ismael and Alfonso came to install mirrors in my bathrooms. They installed a total of 4 mirrors. They were very respectful of the area and wore shoe coverings and masks for covid precautions. They were able to install the mirrors safely with proper anchoring (since the mirrors were so heavy). They did a really good job and even cleaned up after. Our dog chewed up part of our bedroom doorframe on Monday (Memorial Day). The same day I messaged Trusted Handyman LV for a quote and they responded the same day. Customer service was awesome, and the quote was the exact amount I ended up paying for the job (minus the tip I gave). Israel and Adolfo came the very next day to remove the old chewed-up piece, and did so very efficiently. They took the old piece and brought back the new piece a little while later. The newly installed piece looks better than the old piece did before my dog chewed it up! They also gave us the paint they used so we can touch it up if needed. I liked these guys so much I hired them twice in one week! Totally professional, courteous, and trustworthy. The first time was for help with assembling a new entertainment center/wall unit. The team arrived on time, and would have been an hour early had I not already had an appointment elsewhere that morning. The job was done quickly and efficiently, and looks beautiful. Once The Man of the House saw how pleased I was, he gave me a short list of things we needed done outside. The team returned, removed an out of control bush (including the stump), salvaged the useable parts of the tree for firewood, hauled away the debris, and a monster antique lathe, and cleared out some other stuff in the garage. Trusted Handy Man came out to our house twice - for a project that included hanging a couple of mirrors, pictures and curtain rods. They didn't complete the work on the first visit (approx 4.5 hours at our home) and returned the following week to finish. After another four hours, there were still several items to be hung - and most of what they had hung was crooked and incorrect. There were three pictures to be hung in the living room and they were several inches off from being level. Knowing that they were several hours from finishing and that we would need to re-do much of what had been done, we asked them to leave with the project unfinished. We now have holes from the incorrect hanging that need to be patched and painted, so this has ultimately added work to the project. The only reason I'm not giving them one star is that the dispatcher/scheduler was very responsive and apologetic. They broke a mirror and she quickly followed up to offer a reimbursement. She provided good, responsive service - but we literally had to remove their team from the job because the work was so poorly done. read more
