Everyone on the staff is informed and able to help as I have needed to make all sorts of changes to the schedule. It is really easy and they always get back to me very quickly and solve the issue. The feature that has such a great value is the simple online portal, you can see the schedule for a month in the future and each day the caregivers make notes as to what happened. I would like to highly recommend Trusted Life Care. After two months of caring for my mother-in-law in 12hr. shifts which included a 25 min. drive each way, my husband and I were exhausted. She had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer only two months prior and was now bedridden. The palliative care givers provided by her insurance were unprofessional, so we provided the majority of the care ourselves. Finally, we reached out to TLC and found an immediate sense of calm and decisiveness. Just the initial conversation with the owner provided us with a great deal of comfort and confidence that we had made the right decision to call. Their care providers were professional and worked tirelessly to make sure that my aunt's needs were taken care of. With her in California and me in Florida, it would have been a challenge to manage, but they had a wonderful "Family Portal" on their website where I could see the care provider schedule, as well as the daily notes that were entered by the care providers. I have received great validation from long-time neighbors and friends as well as acceptance from my Aunt, that Delzerie is doing an Amazing job! I honestly don't know where to begin. I want to start by saying that I have never written a Yelp review before on anything, or any type of review. It's not typically my style. But I cannot in good concience "not" write one. I feel the strong need to share our wonderful experience with Trusted Life during a horrible period. My Dad was in a very fast decline with his cancer, and my brother and I simply didn't know what to do. We were scared, and the guy that we both relied on our whole lives to help us make hard decisions and do the right thing was the same guy who needed help--my Dad. We decided to physically go and visit 5 companies that we had vetted though our research, and then narrow down to our choice from there. Trusted Life Care was the first one we visited, thank God. Simply put, after our meeting with Lisa who is one of the owners, our search was over right then and there--we didn't even bother to continue our search. Their expertise is stellar, lead on the nursing side by Lisa's business partner Leslie. But that is not why I am writing this review. I am writing this review because during the most difficult time in our lives--myself, my brother, and my Mom, Trusted Life Care was there for us emotionally. The level of service from Lisa and Leslie, who are very hands on as owners, all the ways down to the care takers was much better than I could have ever expected. You can tell right away that they own the company because of that "extra" level of care and passion. This does not happen by accident. This happens because they care--REALLY care. They care about their selection process, and it is obvious it is in their training. Again, not just the medical side of things, but the personal side of things. They want everything to be perfect, which it pretty much is! But if it is not perfect, they bend over backwards to make it perfect. In summary, this type of business is about taking care of patients physically, but it can be much more than that. Trusted Life Care took care of my dying Dad, making his last weeks and days immeasurably better than they would have been without them. But what really separates this company is that they also took care of the rest of us during our darkest days. I went through needing care for my dad and now it is time for my mom. I wish I'd known these women earlier! They are in the field out of their own passion and it shows. Every caregiver they've sent have been caring and wonderful. They are flexible with last minute changes and really patient explaining options.
