All I asked for was a copy of the paperwork showing that my vehicle was released to me, which is a reasonable request when signing legal documents. Customers should be informed about what they are signing and provided copies for their records. Basic professionalism and transparency would go a long way. For your information! Michigan towing rules also require towing companies to provide written disclosures and an itemized invoice when requested. By the time I spoke with someone at Waynes, I was pretty stressed out. The lady that answered my call was patient, professional and very helpful in guiding me through the process. Sandy is the lady that calmly and clearly explained to me what I needed to obtain and bring in prior to retrieving our vehicle. Once we finally arrived to pick up our impounded vehicle I was pleasantly surprised at how organized and clean the inside of the building was. There was a spacious, inviting area for those waiting for their vehicle to be serviced. Sandy came out to greet us and get us set up and on our way. I have always been very bad when dealing with tight parking spaces so I was very grateful for the guy in the tow yard that pulled our car out of a crazy tight space. I first tried to do it but panicked and asked him to help me out... he did so without one word of complaint. The car was in good condition. We drove off the lot and went home safely. Whew!
