This class kicked my butt... literally my legs and glutes were really feeling the burn (the good kind of burn though). What makes this gym unique is that they incorporate the shredmill, yes SHREDmill, not treadmill into the workout every day. The workouts are different everyday and are available to everyone on the DripFit app where you sign up for classes. I haven't been to this studio (Boca Central) in years - back when it was in its old location. The revamp was amazing. The lobby certainly looks more trendy than my home studio in Central Florida. I joined for a Tread 50 class, so I can't speak to the complaints about the weight floor spacing. Equipment was new, and the studio was clean. Deby was nice, and the workout was stellar. I didn't see any showers, so I don't know if they exist in the studio but makes sense to remove them if not used. I'll definitely be back since it's the closest studio to where I stay when I am in the area. There's also complaints about contract cancellation. I think all gyms have that. I cancelled at my home studio in 2022 without issue. I also took a picture of the cancellation form to help with date verification. I rejoined after a little bit when I had buyer's remorse.

I've pretty much tried almost all types of workouts and gyms and boxing is hands down always been…read moremy fave full body workout. I've been looking for a boxing centric gym for awhile and there wasn't any in boca for quiet some time. Then i saw online 9round just opened a location in boca so I signed up for a free class to check them out. They called me the next day to finalize when I was gonna come in and let me know what to bring (water, normal gym clothes etc). This location can be a little hard to find because you don't see it from the street. it's behind 5 spice asian market. I got there expecting a class type situation but that's not there setup. It's a 9round circuit. there are 1-2 trainers out on the floor helping you transition between exercises and coaching you. you are at each "round" for 3 minutes then u switch to the next "round" and just work the circuit. in between rounds the trainer gives you a 30 second exercise to do (ex- squat, plank etc). Your done with your workout in 30 minutes. so there's no set class time. you get there at anytime they are open (obviously at least 30 mins before they close) and you just join the circuit. I signed up for a no contract 8 week summer program they have right now. I can go unlimited for 8 weeks (even twice a day if I want), then decide if I want to commit to contract. They also have month by month pricing. The prices are a bit high for me so I will see if I swing the costs after the 8 weeks. the sign up came with boxing gloves, wraps, and a 9round backpack. I've gone twice since I signed up and I am looking forward to going tomorrow. I wish they had better weekend hours but it's typical of gyms to only have half days on the weekends.

The best part is you don't have class times - just show up when you want to get a great workout in. No excuses! No rushing to get there before or after work! No charges for missing or cancelling a class! The flexibility is amazing, and you get your butt kicked in 30 min. How could you go wrong? The heart rate monitor keeps you engaged (and feeling proud after a workout because you can see your calories burned and cardiovascular progress). During COVID, the owner Josh has done so much to make sure you feel safe and comfortable. They sanitize every piece of equipment after each use, plus the stations are solo and spread out from other members who might be working out at the same time. Definitely give this place a try!
