I love this place! The staff is extremely friendly, and the gym is clean and organized. The classes push you to your limit, and the atmosphere is very energetic which helps you to push even further. You are given a towel when you check in's d there are disinfectant sprays at every station to help keep each station clean. Every time I go I know I got the best workout! If you want a good workout sweat, get your a$$ to PITFITNESS! Dedicated trainers with the attitude to keep you moving. Workouts for any level they just want to see you move and work hard. Saturday boot camp is a good way to get introduced into the program and then weekdays they will have certain days for certain body parts. Large warehouse for lots of space to move. I never feel like I'm on top of anyone else. Many great transformations with this program and I absolutely feel like my endurance has kicked up a notch or two. I became a member at Pit Fitness when the Boynton Beach location opened over 2 years ago. The positive atmosphere and fun energy initially drew me in, unlike other gyms I went to. I was pleased with staff and management early on and always felt happy to be there. I also referred a lot of my friends that turned into members. As time went on, I noticed a significant decline in gym cleanliness and the overall energy shifted. Classes started not becoming full anymore. Also, since I was one of the original members, I was "locked in" on the presale rate, ""So I thought""which I was assured it would always remain the same price, but they ended up raising the cost, which seems shady. I then decided to cancel my membership for that and the workouts became too repetitive and was not seeing results. My first attempt to cancel landed me on a two month freeze and after that 60 day period, I went to cancel but had to pay an additional month. The cancellation policy wasn't clearly explained and didn't expect another payment to be made. The manager approached me in an unprofessional manner, asking if I had a problem with the girl that worked the front desk. I was confused by what she meant, but I said that there was no problem. I then had to fill out a 10 minute survey for canceling my membership and I really did not want to fill it out and saw no need to do so, but they were extremely persistent and I found it be be very uncomfortable and unnecessary. I thought I might as well continue going to classes since I had to pay for my last month and in one of the classes the manager attended, she singled me out, trying to make me clean one of the stations,accuse me leaving a towel at old station that wasn't mine and then gave me hers to clean the equipment. I walked out at that point and never came back. Really made me feel uncomfortable in front of the class, meanwhile my partner cleans the equipment up for both of us.anyways. Very disrespectful and again unprofessional!!! Unless you feel like wasting your money, I wouldn't give this gym a try. Pit Fitness just shows that it really is hard to find good service. Also don't be late or they will charge you $20 and not let you in after 5 mins . The gym is definitely about getting there dollar before a good member. I hope other gym memebers can speak up,we all talk about it during classes but if she never gets confronted it will never change... read more

This no-frills but friendly gym offers a tough workout. It's basically circuit training in a giant warehouse. You do three minutes at each station, a combination of cardio and strength training. The instructor roams around making sure everybody's form is correct. Different days focus on different parts of the body, but you always get a pretty thorough full-body workout. they try to switch up the exercises from day today and week to week so you're not doing the same things day after day. My only complaint would be that some of the equipment is a little beat up, but it works. The price is also a little bit high for group fitness in a warehouse, but it is unlimited access so you can go as often as you want (but there are fewer classes on weekends). read more

I've enjoy working out and have done it all (kickboxing, OTF, bootcamps, soulcycle, etc) and this has been one of the BEST workouts I've ever done. It's suepr challenging but fun and fast paced and all the trainers are super helpful in providing guidance or modifications for injuries. I'm def the strongest I've been in a long time (can confirm after lifting moving boxes like NBD) and my endurance has greatly improved. Rob is awesome but all the trainers are fantastic. This is an amazing gym to be part of. If you sign and 3 or 6 month contract and you can't make it in for a certain amount of time they work with you. During the shut down due to COVID-19, the coaches uploaded workouts for the pit fam on Instagram which was amazing. Rob is by far the best gym owner that I have ever met. I can't believe I waited so long to try Pit! I've only been going for a week, but I'm already hooked...seriously I wake up just to go to the 6 am class if that's all I can fit in my schedule for that day. Totally unheard of for me! I've never met a group of trainers or gym goers that have been so warm and welcoming. At first glance, you think they would be the epitome of typical SoFla gym types, but not the case here. So nice, so helpful, genuinely concerned about getting you results and taking you out of your comfort zone (in a good way). Pit Fitness is awesome! I've tried it all (kickboxing, orangetheory, hot yoga, barre, distance running, even a few crossfit classes) and I've never gotten results like this! I started working out at the Pit 8 months ago with one goal in mind (to get a tight booty!) and within the first few months I started seeing results. The workouts are always different and the trainers put so much effort into helping you reach your goals whether it is offering new classes, tailoring the workouts for you, or letting you bring the kids along. As a full-time working mom it's difficult to find the time to get to the gym but at the Pit I get so much accomplished in a 1-hr class that I can go 2 or 3 times a week and still stay in great shape. I love working out at the Pit because it keeps me motivated and challenged. The workouts are different every day, and you never get bored in your routine. All the instructors are great- Rob, Ray, Kyle, and John are all really knowledgable about fitness and take care that you do everything properly, so you don't hurt yourself (ahem, crossfit). Don't be alarmed if Kyle plays his slow jams; he's not, as one might incorrectly assume, trying to seduce you. It's just how he gets pumped to workout. I left my old gym (LA Fitness can suck it), and I've been working out at the Pit for about 8 months, and I can't imagine going back to a generic gym at this point. Overall, I really enjoy working out at the Pit, and I am definitely not just saying this because Rob threatened and punished us this morning. read more

The Pit is hands down the best place to work out! I've been going for a little over a year now and besides the amazing results, the workouts and muscle splits are always changing to keep you motivated and to keep you from ever hitting a plateau. Just joined Pit Fitness and loving it so far! The trainers are all friendly and motivating and the gym has an overall good vibe. The workouts are fun and and will definitely drive fast results. Great trainers, great workout, great atmosphere -- workout is intense, but can be modified to fit all levels of fitness and is formatted for you to go at your own pace -- keep in mind, you get out of it whatever you put into it.
