Been a regular here for the last two years. and this is certainly one of the better choices for Asian food in the Hays area. As someone who leans vegetarian, my choices are fairly limited, but what they do well has been consistently solid. The fried rice has always been good, and the portions are generous enough to make for plenty of leftovers. Their bowls are also tasty, filling, and reheat well -- another plus. They have a good selection of Boba and I've tried a few. Delicious and hits the spot in the summer. This is a takeout/drive-thru only with no option to dine-in. Recommend ordering ahead and picking up if you don't like waiting in the drive-thru. Glad they came back after being shutdown for a while last summer. Simple stop right off I-70. Our 8-pack of California Rolls was less than $5! The portions are huge!! The "salad" is a meager attempt to offer vegetables, although I appreciate it still. I had a short stay in Hays and needed to grab food. This place was the closest Asian restaurant to where I was staying. I was expecting completely butchered Asian food subpar to Panda Express. I went through the drive thru. They were so nice and very quick. A few things... 1) No it's not exactly "authentic" Asian food (they also don't claim to be), but that's hard to find anywhere here not just in Hays since most Asian restaurants try to cater to their mostly American clientele. It was a true fusion restaurant and the food and flavor was A-MAZING! They took it and made it their own instead of trying to copy a generic Asian restaurant. 2) Holy shitake mushrooms, they give you SO MUCH FOOD for the amount they charge. I even had food for the next day. I don't go out to Hays much, but I highly recommend grabbing fast food here. read more

This spot is great, love the food and prices. Drove through here to Colorado and will gladly stop here for food every time I come through . My favorite part , the 16piece sushi is only around 8$ or a little more! The sushi rolls up above are double stacked and delicious. Got all this for about 34$ and couldn't finish it :( my only complaint is I couldn't eat all of it at once , definitely filling . Wish y'all were in my home town I'd be a regular. read more

I really enjoyed their food! They serve quickly through a drive through. I never had one impolite or cranky person, they do their jobs well I also delivered for Door Dash for them, and they were almost always ready and great to work with. This place is amazing. My husband comes to Hays on weekends to do DoorDash and Uber and convinced me to come and try this place. And Holy. Crap. The food? Amazing. The servings? Perfect. The service? Terrific. From the time I ordered to the time I got my food and pulled away was only 4 minutes. And the food is so fresh!! And an amazing price. I can't wait to come back. I still like this spot. Had one nad experience that I did not review on where the sushi was so bad I had to throw it out. This time it is pretty good. I did ask if I could get 8 pieces of eel and 8 pieces of spicy tuna for my combo, which was declined. No big deal, but they shoulr change it, considering the 16 piece eel and yhe 16 piece spicy tuna combo are the exact same price. Why not allow half and half? 16 piecea of the same fish is alot. The portions in this place are huge, very easy to share meals. The place is clean and the service is prompt. They have a printed menu that is easier to read than the moving screen. Very reasonable priced. We had General"s Chicken, sesame chicken and the lo mein. All were excellent. read more

I think this is a new place. I don't get out to Hays much. There are not many tables and there was a mixture of people waiting for to-go items and people eating in. I was a to-go person. I waited about 15 minutes for my food. The girl running the register was doing a great job. Getting orders out, cleaning tables, taking phone orders, and running the register. She gets five stars. If you like vegetables, don't bother with this place. I had eaten here a couple years ago but I was desperately hungry so I thought I'd give it another try. It's all to-go now so I got the meal in an environmentally unfriendly styrofoam clamshell. The excess juice/sauce leaked out of the clamshell and got over everything - a nasty mess in my truck. I opened it up right away and ate in my truck. First of all the food was just luke warm, not hot at all. The vegetables were stringy and did not chew up well - had to spit some of them out. We asked for it spicy, and it was spicy, not as hot as we would have liked, but we are weird that way. We then show up at 15 minutes and have to wait on a 25 minute line. Tough times and new challenges, and this time takes special understanding. Mother Earth is crying. We are passing through Hays and stopped here because reviews said it was good Asian food with generous portions. Upon entering, it was difficult to order because their menu is projected on big LCD tv screens that keep changing. To see the whole menu you have to stand there waiting for the screens to cycle though. Very strange. The place seems new and clean, albeit nearly every tabletop looks like it was attacked by a mountain lion. The cracks and grooves have been filled in with resin though making for easy clean up. The service person was polite and patient while we waited for the menu cycling on the tv screens to end. We ordered our food, were asked if we were dining in or taking out to which we replied, "dine in" and we sat down. Food came out less than five minutes later and was wrapped in every conceivable container of styrofoam, plastic, and waxed paper. I ordered the California roll combo which came with California roll, salad, sesame noodle, and a small drink. It was served on a tri-compartment styrofoam plate but rather than putting the rolls in one section, salad in another, and noodles in the third section, the rolls were in one section, the second section had packets of soy sauce and a plastic container of ginger and wasabi, and the third section had two individual styrofoam bowls each with a plastic lid stacked on top of one another, one with the salad and one with the sesame noodles. This all came with plastic ware and drinks in disposable cups. This restaurant clearly doesn't want to clean a single dish, including even a soy sauce dispenser which is standard on the table at every Asian restaurant I've ever been to. This left me wondering why the server asked the question of dining in or carrying out since the only difference appears to be whether the delivery vessel was a tray or a plastic bag. The food: it wasn't bad but was somewhat disappointing. I would consider the other reviews a bit generous and read between the lines when they say "this is great food for the area." The California roll was made of avocado, cucumber, and an imitation crab-mayo slurry (but no carrot). The sesame noodles had a sweet, peanut-mayo like sauce and were just okay. The salad was iceberg with ranch dressing. The egg drop soup was very watery with what probably amounts to a single egg in an entire pint of soup. The wasabi was flavorless and not spicy at all. However the portions were indeed generous for the price. There was definitely a disconnect between the pictures of food projected on the LCD tv screen menus and what is actually served. When passing through Hays again, I don't think I will return to this restaurant. read more
