Someone new did my eyebrows a few weeks ago and they looked terribly dark due to the tint with a horrible shape and the week after getting them done I started loosing so much hair, my brows are so thin and sparse I really wish that I never came in. They do not take appointments and hence when you first come in , you are required to sign in your name and details at the Register and you are attended to in a First-in basis . There was a small wait of around 15 minutes and due to Covid , they ask you to wait outside . I needed to get my eyebrows done and I explained to her how I like them and my preferences. She was quick and friendly and was done in about 5- 7 minutes. I was not the biggest fan of how they turned out . I had specifically mentioned that I do not prefer a very thin brow but once she was done ,that is how they looked to me thin and overdone in my opinion .Nevertheless , the place looks well managed and she was courteous and friendly. I discovered Brow Bliss via Groupon and have since purchased 2 memberships after my first threading experience here. I was so blown away by how drastically Nilo improved the symmetry and shape of my brows that I've been coming to her ever since. The ladies here are talented and efficient at threading- my sessions take less than 10 mins and I leave with great brows. If i'm not able to be seated right when I arrive, I usually only have to wait a couple minutes since they're so quick with their customers without sacrificing the quality of their work. First few times I saw Nilo and she is just amazing which is why I keep coming back hoping she will be there. However last couple experiences were very bad and last evening was the worst one. I went there and this elderly lady literally butchered my skin, she uses all the force to the thread and literally it was so painful I had to stop her 2 times and request to be gentle. I have cuts on my both eyebrows and upper lips. She obviously isn't trained well. Second most offensive thing I found, the moment I sat on the chair she goes are you Indian, I said no I am Not Indian, she goes you have Indian accent. I mean whaaattt??? No one ever told me that. I came here on a busy morning to get my brows done before the holiday season. While there were a lot of people (no reservations), the lady was quick and efficient without sacrificing quality. While the prices are a bit higher than some other places, I was able to use the Yelp check-in coupon. It did seem like most people had some sort of regular subscription, so that is an option as well. Second time, only one person working. No acknowledgement when I got in. Fast work but my eyebrows were a travesty. One was thicker and higher and one was droopy and sad looking.
