The salon was clean and well lit, people were nice but my manicure didn't last from Thursday to Sunday. It came off in pieces, and by the end of the day the whole nail was left without polish. It seemed to 'lift' off. I don't know if it was the type of polish or the preparation of the nails but between a regular mani/pedi and tip, I spent almost $100. Today is Wednesday- not even a week- and I've had to remove all my polish. Perhaps these places specialize in tips and gels, perhaps on their menu where you book online they should specify a technician for basic, natural nail care. I can't be the only one in the Greater New Orleans area who gets a regular manicure ! BTW- this isn't my first time here- I went earlier this summer and a gentleman- I think the owner- did my nails and they lasted at least a week. But, I'm not sure I'll go back !

I do find that they tend to overbook themselves. When this happens, it's obvious that people get frustrated with the wait, especially when the person books an appointment for a specific time. I will say that a nail appointment takes almost a full hour. Despite the long time that can be spent at the salon, there are some great nail technicians. My gel nails last so long, like a solid three weeks.
