Rachel, Annie, and Joey did an amazing job with my services today. I just moved to the Lexington area and am looking for new salon here. I had acrylics done for my fingers and a spa pedicure and gel for my toes. Those two services were spectacular. My nails all look great and the massages were really good. And long! That's a plus. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that I also got my eyelashes done. Extensions. What normally takes 1.5ish hours took almost 3. And it was outrageously priced. They look great! But the length and cost doesn't outweigh the benefits in this case. I'll definitely go back for my manicures and pedicures, but not my eyelash extensions. Eyelashes eyebrows If you want some things done right I guess you have to do it yourself. Eyelash tint and curl looks good, worth $30, but the eyebrows are a different story. She free-handed my Eye brows, no bro mapping whatsoever. I'm not satisfied with the $30. They left me with no true defined apex, tons of caked on product, and leftover product around my nails that was a pain to try and get off on my own. Very cute place and did a great job. My only complaint was their too pricey and pretty rude. His wife did an amazing job on my lashes but when I came out for my nails, he got a little rude. My lashes were $140 and only lasted 9 days with doing everything correctly. My nails on the other hand kept going up in price. I got acrylic which was $65. He said $5 for the shaping, $5 for the French nails, and another $5 for color. It was ridiculous. I paid a total of $280 because he was standing over me waiting for me to tip. I really didn't have the money for it but did it anyways. Never the less you won't see me back in there. read more

Im in town for work and called same day for a regular pedicure and powder manicure. They did have evening appointments which is awesome. Total time was a little long- 2 hours, and I had no current nail polish on. There was no one in the salon, and no other customers the whole time I was there which was weird. The manicure was so-so, not horrific but not great, pedicure was rough. My biggest issue was cleanliness and instruments used- see below: PROS: -10 pedicure chairs that look new - prices are reasonable - same day appt/lots of availability - the majority of the salon is clean and roomy CONS: - no TV or music in the salon, I kept falling asleep ‍ - the table where I sat for my manicure had not been cleaned, there were nail clippings there when I sat down - **BIGGEST ISSUE** the instruments are not clean. The file used for my pedi and mani were well used and filled with past junk. The clippers/cuticle pusher/and picks were all used and not clean- just sitting in a tote. Today my big toe looks like it's getting infected - I have very curved toe nails and they get I drown easily- they ruined them by cutting huge chunks out the side so they look triangle shaped ‍ - the pedicure was ROUGH! I'm pretty tough but this guy hurt me and was not gentle at all. - no lotion or real manicure when you get powder nails. Moral of the story: there has to be somewhere better in Lexington. Checked out reviews on Yelp, felt pretty confident to try out. Planned Manis & Pedis for my bestie & I for her bday coming up. I got there on time for scheduled appointment. Young man started process of soaking my feet. He seemed a little nervous & I immediately assumed he was novice but day wasn't about me. I liked decor, pretty basic but bold pink seats and cute rose chairs. They had door open so that made it a little warm & allowed flies in. Other issue was it seemed to be a small room in back for staff's kids. Not a good idea. We come for relaxation & kids were running into our area & seemed to be having typical child drama amongst one another. I didn't like this for my friend, who has 3 kids at home. Not very relaxing! But she's easygoing & didn't complain. So she arrives 20 minutes late, but still ended up done with both services BEFORE me. Again my guy seemed nervous, was slow & not as comfortable as her tech. He also caused one of my big toes to bleed & didn't listen to me when I asked him not to put product on that toe until last. I was extremely patient but annoyed. My pics will show how amateur his work was. Regardless I tipped 15% for both of our techs because my friend was pleased with her service. They did adhere to Covid guidelines. I've been going here for well over a year for sns nails. They don't always do the best work, but I've been loyal to support the local business. I've even recruited several family members to come here as well. Anyways I needed a repair on a nail that they just filled the day before & the lady treated me so rudely. This nail salon is probably one of my favorites! It's my first time being here and as soon as I walked in, the aesthetic made me feel like a princess. They have chandeliers and everything is very chic. When getting my mani/pedi they paid a lot of attention to the little details that most places over look. I'm in love with this place!! It's just so cute inside and the staff if phenomenal. I will just say now if you have 2 or more people in your party please book an appointment or if you can't stand a wait. There were so many people who had to turn around and leave because it's only the husband and wife now. Back to the experience- I got SNS nails as well as my eyebrows threaded. This was my first time doing both and well, I'm converted now! The eyebrow threading was painless and she also did makeup on my brows which I've never done before and I'm loving this look! She even took the time to tell us how to keep up our brows at home and how to apply the makeup so that was a major plus because I'm clueless. I came for Lashes for the first time and I absolutely loved them... then I asked to have a pedicure and that went well also! What I did like that I saw... was when they were finished with the pedicure they took the whole motor and bowl apart washed it with bleach and other sanitizing cleansers and Er it sit and dry apart before the next person took that bowl! First time customer - decided to try something new and treated myself to the Berry Bliss pedicure ($60) which is supposed to come with 1-2 callus removal sessions and gel polish ($15). I think if I had someone else performing my pedicure I would be leaving a better review. My mother came with me and her pedicure looks amazing and when she asked for a particular part to be more exfoliated that was done. When I asked the gentleman doing my pedi to exfoliate the tip of my toe (I have what is commonly referred to as a Roman Toe or Morton's Toe - which means the toe next to the big toe is longer than the big toe - which means that the tip of that toe develops a callus), not only did he not do as I asked, he also didn't exfoliate the outside of my pinkie toe either. Additionally I have tiny toe nails, which I am aware makes it more difficult to paint them, so at this point I was turned over to someone else, and she had to re-trim all of my cuticles because the gentleman did not do a good job on that either. At the end it took forever for the paraffin to harden and when they finally took it off, they left bits of paraffin on my feet. Now for the positives - the smell of the berry scrub and the oil they put on my legs before the hot stone massage was incredible. The length of both massages (the one with the berry scrub and the hot stones) were very long and felt great. My polish looks great on my itty bitty toe nails and my moms nails look amazing. Having a pedicure that takes 2 hours is pretty nice. They also have a return policy where if you spend $35 8 times you get $10 off, which I've never seen a nail salon do. And they offer more than the average nail salon as well - waxing, lashes, etc. Overall - I am please but not pleased. I would say my feelings are mediocre at best, and paying $86+ dollars for a pedicure I honestly thought my calluses would be gone at the end - not completely untouched meaning I'll have to do it myself when I get home. I almost left a 4 star review but the paraffin left of my feet when done made me change it to 3. I'm not opposed to returning and trying again, but a different person doing them would be better....I guess we'll say 3.5 stars All said and done, read more

I've only had the guy do my nails but while I was there I saw the some nails that the wife had just done and they looked amazing too! They are both extremely good at what they do!
