Quick and easy, really enjoyed the easy walk through as well. Beautiful things to see throught the terminals

I love this airport I always have. I appreciate the renovations and upgrades. Usually they have 2 lines open and 2 attendants is for the pre-check line. I do appreciate that they have a Smith machine so even those without TSA precheck you don't have to remove electronics

My experience flying out Hobby Airport was a great one . The customer service that I received from Lisa U and Adrian made my check in smooth. Their warm approach and patience was much appreciated. South West from the check to the landing you have gained a new customer for life.

This review is about my TSA PreCheck experience at HOU Hobby Airport. First time using this privilege but found there was no difference without it. Other than no need to take my shoes off. The TSA agent was not attentive, no eye contact and no smile. That's normal to all TSA agents at other posts. Just presented my photo ID and not even a "thank you" or "have a nice trip". It's ok. I get used to emotionless service. Maybe that's the future of TSA agents replaced by robots. The worst part of this experience is that non-privileged posts are empty. Looks like the rush was over. I couldn't compare. Oh well. Next time.

At the gate, I was carrying a CPAP machine (which is a medical device), a carry-on bag, and a very small fanny pack that was approximately 3 x 4 inches. The gate agent rushed me and told me I needed to condense everything immediately. She showed no concern that one of the items I was carrying was a CPAP machine, which is considered a medical device and is generally not counted as a standard carry-on. I was also carrying it for my father, who has severe arthritis and has difficulty carrying his own belongings. While I was being rushed, I told my mother, "How irritating." I was expressing my frustration to my mom--I was not speaking to or directing the comment at the gate agent. Despite that, after I boarded the plane, the gate agent stopped my mother and told her they would remove me from the flight simply because I had said, "How irritating." Which seems kind of taking your rights away. Does southwest not believe in freedom of speech?? Do I have to be careful what I tell my mother or I'm going to get thrown out ?? The interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional . Whether this was due to poor training, a power trip, or something else , no passenger should be treated this way, especially when traveling with medical equipment. Southwest, please do better. Train your employees on the policies regarding medical devices such as CPAP machines, and remind them that passengers deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect, even during stressful boarding situations.

Fares are usually quite reasonable and the ability to change your flight based on price to get an adjustment is seamless. Although there has been alot of negative associated with SWA lately because of the elimination of 2 free checked bags and now utilizing assigned seating and the elimination of the a, b, and c boarding groups. As a swa visa cardholder depending on your status, you still retain at the very least 1 free checked bag. I found the new boarding groups less chaotic and crowded which was a relief for me. Annoying is the word I would use to describe people who all at once are trying to put their unchecked bags in the overhead bins. Not so much this flight out of Hou Hobby! Although this flight was sold out everything was very smooth with the boarding procedure. I also found the assigned seating straight forward and not a bunch people trying to find an open seat all at once. The in-flight coffee is wonderful and as I said for before the best in the sky! Thank you Southwest for this! I did the see that they also added cherry coke zero as an option as well as hornitos margaritas. So the most unique and wonderful thing I found was that there is a phone holder now in front of you now to watch your videos at your seat on the newer Max 8 planes! We loved this! Overall I luv SWA and will continue to fly with them! My only gripe was the large group surrounding our seats talking loud and using profanity at 445 in the morning as well as passing food around as if I was going to help them pass their food around?

In the lower gate A numbers (A1-A15) they now have 2 new eating restaurants. In addition to the Breakfast Klub (southern breakfast/brunch food), they now have Simone Biles Taste of Gold (American, cocktails) & El Tiempo Cantina (Mexican, cocktails). I'm pretty sure they changed out a few of the fast food restaurants but I honestly didn't look at those. They had live music in the center near Breakfast Klub, in the area they call "Symphony in the Air". The live saxophonist & drummer sounded really great. Another change was the exit to baggage claim. It was surprisingly a much longer walk! From the lower A gates you now must walk all the way around toward the higher gates to get to the baggage claim exit. Its about a 5 min walk to get to the baggage exit/escalators. During this walk through the connector hallway of the lower & higher A gates, there is an Art display area called "Houston Airport Artist in Residence (AIR)". The display from local artist is wonderful to see. The enhancements for terminal A are good. Previously, it always felt like one of the more neglected terminals. I know IAH still has a lot of construction underway. I look forward to seeing additional airport improvements.

I arrived mid-afternoon, they must've timed the flights out right! I hate when I arrive to an airport and there's loads of people waiting to board my flight and watching us as we exit the plane. Before making the trip to the airport, I did exactly what any reasonable customer would do: I called Alamo's customer service to verify that my payment method would be accepted. I was assured that everything was fine, so I drove all the way to the rental location expecting to pick up my reserved vehicle. When I arrived, the staff refused to honor the information I had been given. Instead of trying to help or offering any reasonable solution, they were dismissive, unprofessional, and completely indifferent to the fact that I had relied on their company's own customer service. I wasted my time, gas, and effort because the left hand of this company clearly has no idea what the right hand is doing. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the employees. There was no empathy, no apology for the conflicting information, and no attempt to resolve the situation. I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer with a confirmed reservation. If your company has policies that differ from what customer service tells customers, then your employees need to honor those representations or your customer service department needs proper training. Customers should not be penalized because your company cannot communicate internally. I left without a vehicle, after wasting hours of my evening, because of Alamo's incompetence and lack of accountability. I will never rent from Alamo again, and I will actively discourage friends, family, and colleagues from doing so. There are too many rental companies that value their customers to waste time with one that clearly doesn't.
