Meeting your needs while you wait for the ferry [British Columbia] We needed to take the ferry to Victoria. While waiting to board the ferry to Swartz Bay we went inside the market to see if we could grab something to eat. This market features a diverse tenant mixture of local food vendors, artisan cafes and shops from local crafters. It reminds me of the Oxbow Public Market in Napa CA. Hubby got a hotdog from Frankie's Barbecue and I chose a pizza from Ali Baba Pizza. They have community seating along the middle aisle. Unfortunately, the announcement came on that we will be boarding the ferry soon so we ate inside our car. There is a Starbucks onsite. Review #3177

Very dog friendly! See vending machine for doggy treats and accessories. There is a Starbucks and the baristas are friendly and efficient.

Excellent customer service and options for drinks and food as well restrooms and small souvenir shops. Definitely will recommend stopping by before taking the ferry to Victoria Island, BC

The service was good and they were very friendly and helpful. The selection was limited. Only a few shops were open for business. It was good value for some items and some are over priced.

Frankie's BBQ grill - Don't order the Philly Cheesesteak. Total rip-off -$10.99 for a piece of beef on a hotdog bun.

Great place to kill time while you are waiting for the ferry to Victoria. There are many food service places and vendors to visit. There is also some beautiful first nations art located in and around the marketplace.

When I called the 1 800 number for help with my order, my customer service agent couldn't speak English and I could not understand them. when I asked a question or clarification they would give me an answer that I could not understand or nothing to do with what I asked. All I got out of the conversation is that I had to reorder my order to get it and they are holding my money to make sure U can paid for my order that I have not received??????????? Nothing made sense. The worst customer service, how can you get help from someone who can't speak English!!!!!!! So I ordered my order again, this time choosing pick up at a store location. I got an email the next day saying my order was ready for pick. I thought ok this going well. Maybe I just have to order for pick up at a store location. The email said to let them know you are coming to pick up your order by clicking this link. I clicked the link and nothing happened. I went to the store. No one was at customer service and it took 5 minutes to find someone to help. I let them know I clicked the link on the email I received and I am here to pick up my order. They checked the system and said they don't have any picks at the store. I gave him my information for my order, they called for someone over the PA system then was doing something on their cellphone even though there was a line up of people behind me???????? After 5 minutes or so they finally got off their cellphone called the person on the PA again then helped another customer. I waited for over 15 mins for someone to come to the customer service desk to help them with my order. While I was waiting I noticed a more than four employees talking groups and being on their cellphones texting or doing something other than working or helping customers while people where self checking themselves out. I thought WOW is this what it has come too!!!!!! Walmart making more money off their customers for not having to pay for cashiers for check out and have their customers check themselves out while their employees are being paid to play or text on their cellphones, ignoring customers. I finally got my order after 20 mins in the store. They told me the link in the email only works if you are close to the store and you can only use it in the app not in emails on your computer. When I got home I noticed I got charged for the first order that didn't come and the second order. I am working with my credit card company to sort that out. Why did I get charged twice???? I still don't know and the people at the store didn't know either. I hate Amazon and I don't order from them but after this experience I might have to go back. At least they deliver your order or give you a full refund when you don't get your order.

He helped me so much with my first pair of runners that I made sure to get my 2nd pair of runners when kentaro was working. Like in the past, Kentaro is personable, friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. He works so hard on his own and he is an asset to The Running Room. As long as Kentaro is working at the Running Room, I will continue to buy my runners from him. I hope the company recognizes his hard work, his talent, and his dedication to his job so one day he will be made the store manager. We are lucky to have Kentaro who is so knowledgeable with his products. I refuse buying at Sport Chek or any of these mall stores with runners because 99% of the staff has no knowledge of the runners and can;t provide a proper and appropriate fittings especially for problematic feet.

They do carry my current fave…read morerunning / walking / standing shoe which is the Saucony Hurricane 23 but sadly it's only $20 or 10% off regular . The aforementioned Sauconys are great because they provide , for me anyway , the absolute perfect blend of cushioning and stability as competing models from say Asics , NB and even Mizuno just don't offer the same plush ride . Being a discounted running shoe store first and foremost I did find some pronation-control products in my size on sale too but they're old , i mean like couple seasons old already . Believe it or not running shoes do have a shelf life as materials degrade over time even if unworn and just don't provide the same support as they used to when new . Staff seems relatively less helpful and knowledgeable than other RR locations so good idea to do your own research before stopping by la : )

The prices are lower than the main stores in Vancouver and you can find some killer deals, if you shop discerningly like me. The only downside is, you need to make regular trips out here. A bit of a drag but it can be done. Are you really ready to up your game? From the movie Hitch: "With no guile and no game, there's no girl." Have game. Dress well. Groom well. I was warmly greeted by Kathleen who promptly took on the task of finding me a new blue suit to replace my pre-pandemic suit that no longer fits me. She eyeballed me for size and was off to the races. I still don't know how she managed to be so accurate, but she managed to nail it on the first try. She showed me two suits to start and as I looked in the mirror after putting on the jackets for each suit, she was keeping watch of me while searching for other appropriate options based on my thoughts as I broke down what I liked about them. I was then escorted to the fitting rooms to also try on the pants. I was also provided with a shirt so that I could get a better sense of how it all came together. Amazingly, it was one of those first two that she had me try that I ultimately selected. It might have been the easiest suit purchase of my life. To put this in perspective, I have had full bespoke suits made for me locally and in Hong Kong. I've also bought off the rack suits from Dunn's (recommended) and Red Baker (recommended) and fake bespoke suits from Indochino (not recommended). My experience with Kathleen and Harry Rosen was only exceeded by my bespoke suit experiences. So there you have it. If you're looking for a new suit, head on over to this Outlet location for Harry Rosen. The prices are great and the service is top notch!
