We made an appointment for 4:30 and it's 5:30 now, still not being seen. I asked the receptionist up front, "why do you schedule appointments but then see patients more than an hour late?" Not good. Never saw the Dr or the office, so can't speak to that, but the woman answering the phone was terrible. I started the call by giving my name and insurance provider. She took down all my information. and I mean all of it! Then at the very end of the call, when confirming my appointment time, she slides in that the Dr doesn't take insurance. I have PPO so generally easy to see Drs but he doesn't take it whatsoever. I told her I needed to check if I could submit it toward my deductible and she hung up on me. I called back and she didn't answer. Took a few calls until she finally did and she was very rude. I was desperate for quick treatment so I was willing to pay out of pocket but her manner was so off putting that I decided to not use this doctor. read more

Really unfortunate that Dr. Tsimerekis has some sour reviews due to recent office experiences - which is something I cannot comment on. I am however here to share that when I had a bout of hypochondriac-ish health scares when I was 19, Dr. Tsimerekis took my concerns seriously and did NOT downplay my symptoms. He, just like my PCP at the time (Dr. Mok) actually took my complaints seriously and tried their best to get to the bottom of my symptoms. At the time he even offered to do a 'shotgun approach' and ordered a bunch of labs, just so we can truly rule everything out. Luckily it turned out to be nothing but now in 2025 when most folks complaints are that specialists are turning legitimately ill patients away while scapegoating 'anxiety', Dr. Tsimerekis is NOT of that cohort. I am still very thankful for his care almost two decades later. read more

I want to say that I have never made a complaint with a doctor's office before. This is the absolute WORSE experience I have ever had with a provider's office and provider. They are disorganized and unprofessional. I have been trying to get diabetes medication and a thyroid ultrasound and I have been getting the run around. My mom's A1C has increased and she had a lapse in oral medication for 1 month. The office asked for my mom to come back in for an appointment so they could provide her another prescription. My mom's labs were within normal limits, so there was no need to come back in. She had to cancel and reschedule due to being unwell and they blamed her "one cancelation" as the reason for not receiving her prescription . They could have given her a limited supply too. My mom has had great care with her past endocrinologist. I wish her insurance allowed her to continue with her past provider, but that is not possible. My mom has had diabetes for more than 30 years and everything is a roadblock with this office. I'm a nurse and would not recommend this provider to anyone. A diabetic patient should not go without medication (especially when her kidney function and liver tests are WNL). read more

The office is in disarray, the place is dirty and in desperate need of a cleaning and repair. The front desk staff hardly speaks English, doesn't know how to use the computer system and was consistently unable to send blood work orders via computer so I had to wait for handwritten orders in the mail.I was the first appointment of the day and he was late by almost an hour. When he showed up to the appointment, he looked like he just rolled out of bed. His lab coat was stained and wrinkled, his hair disheveled. His demeanor was as if we were inconveniencing him.He didn't really listen to any of my questions or concerns and couldn't seem to take my blood pressure effectively. The exam room had five different over-the-counter blood pressure cuffs laying around and none of them worked properly. Doctors should know how to take blood pressure.If you have a serious condition that requires organization and hands-on care, this is not the doctor for you. read more

If I could I would give this office zero stars. This is what happened to me in what I call the Twlight Zone. I arrived at the office at 9:20am for my 9:30am appointment just as the office person was opening the door. She told me I was early and really was not supposed to sit in the office. I told her that I was just 10 minutes early, she said well I guess you can sit in the office. I asked if I could start filling out the patient information forms while I was waiting, she said no not until 930. 10 minutes later she asked for my insurance card I said sure no problem. About five minutes after that she tells me that my visit co-pay today would be $750. I asked her what are you talking about? My co-pay is $40. She tells me that my deductible has not been met, and I said it has been met and even if it wasn't, an office visit is not $750. She later said oh I'm sorry it's $170. I told her it wasn't that either it's 40. She asked if she could call my insurance company to verify I said absolutely go ahead. she put them on speakerphone and asked if my deductible is met, they said yes it was. She then asked them if the family deductible was met, they said no $750 is still due. this office person then tells me see your deductible hasn't been met and I asked her what was wrong with her. they told you my individual deductible has been met and that I am not responsible for my husband's portion of the family deductible. She goes in the back office comes back and says let me put you on the phone with your insurance company. I told her lady I just heard them and I know that my deductible is met my deductible. Needless to say I never saw the doctor because I asked for my insurance card and left. This office person works mostly out of her home, taking the appointments. The office is dark and dreary, and she obviously doesn't know anything about insurance. I have no desire to see a Doctor who employees office staff such as this woman. read more

When explaining that I was referred by a Dr. from a teaching university, specifically to Dr. Tsimerekis for an appointment as soon as possible, the young man who took the call simply could not have cared less. A chain is no stronger than it's weakest link. I'd found out later that Dr. Tsimerekis's office staff is uncaring to say the least, by way of my not at all being the only one in the large corporation I work for, who share the same opinion (a very frightening aspect, when medical issues and procedures are at hand). read more

I found this doctor in the yellow pages. He takes cash patients. Since I don't have insurance and between jobs this works good for me. I made an appointment 4 months ago. I have had several phone calls to the office staff since then. I was told during those calls the appointment costs 500.00 which includes the first visit, blood work, and the follow up visit. Each visit afterward is a different cost. The front office manager was sure the cost was 500.00 and any additional labs will cost more. I agreed. I called 2 days ago to reschedule my appointment because I was unable to save 500.00 in total for this visit. I wanted to come in January. The front office said, no worries, come in, and we'll work out payment arrangements. The doctor just wants to make sure he gets paid. I should have took that comment as a red flag warning. I showed up to my visit and the front office who has been speaking to me over the last 4 months surprisingly had a loss of memory. My labs were sent by the clinic. She said, the doctor wants the labs done by his own lab company...she then told me that my appointment costs 500.00 in full today regardless of whether my labs are done somewhere else, besides the doctor isn't happy that my labs are getting done somewhere else... she gave me a song and dance and refused to break down the 500.00 cost. The doctor came out of the office and stood in the hallway, and asked the girls if I was being a pain in the butt. Can you believe that? How old is this guy? What makes these people believe they can push me around while under illness like my hyperthyroidism? I have every intentions of reporting this situation to the board of medicine. I was humiliated, lied too, and this doctor and office staff just wanted to hussle money out of me with no accountability to me. I just asked for my labs back, and reminded the office manager of what she told me. I left that office. I heavily "do not recommend" this office or this physician to anyone. After all of this stress and chain of incompetency I find myself looking for a new doctor. May not find one that has an opening for months. But I'm glad, this office could have killed me with their neglect and urge to raid my pocketbook. read more
