Went here recently for lunch. The interior is small, with just a few tables to sit at. I got the kung pao chicken over noodles, and it was not at all what I would call kung pao chicken. It was fine, and it filled my belly, but it didn't have the typical things that I expect from a "traditional" kung pao. It was also not the least bit spicy. Sing Tao is an amazing restaurant. I have been here countless of times already, just getting around to write a review. The prices are amazing, have been cheap for few years now, and definitely worth the price. The portions are generous for the amount of food you get. I have tried a handful of their items, and they're good. My usual order is the combination plate with orange chicken and pork fried rice. The fried rice could be a bit better, but still taste great. The orange chicken is very good when you eat it fresh. If you let it sit for an hour or longer it becomes soggy and almost not worth eating. The crispy chicken with the spicy orange sauce is amazing, if i am feeling more hungry I would get the plate of fried rice, and a plate of orange chicken, a bit pricey, but a lot of food for the price. The lady who works the front is very nice and always gives good estimates on when to arrive for your food when phone ordering. My husband wanted to try this place since we have passed it a few times and it was closed. Today it was opened. Inside was small and there was an American family eating in there. My husband orders a Pepsi and chicken wings to try. When we got the order he brought it out to the car and opens the box and the chicken look decent. But the batter was kind of thick so my husband opens it up cool down but once he opened it you can smell the rot in the chicken it smelled like sour milk. So my husband opens up the chicken batter on the next one it looked like someone but into chicken and they ended up recooking it. That was disgusting. The diner inside asked to look at it and he showed them and they were so disgusted. So my husband goes back inside and shows them and ask them to smell it the said "that ish American chicken" and they said well we can make you something new or a new chicken order my husband said no I want a refund and they said no refunds. Excuse me? Your giving a refund. And the lady gave it to him. he never ate not one piece. He just opened it up and saw it look half eaten. Do not eat here and if you do please check your food to ensure you do not get sick!! I do not know how they are getting a high rating. This is a family owned small business and run by the owner and family. They are actually working in the kitchen and serving their customers. It gets busy hence the wait. Great food and service! Score 1-10 (1=Horrible 10=Amazing) Cleanliness 10- Floors and tables were clean. Silverware and cups were clean. Plates and condiments were clean and dust free. Service 7- There was a wait because only two employess were seen in the restraunt at the time and they had several customers waiting for pick up and order. They were prompt to help us asap and the waiter was apologetic for the wait. The wait for refills was not too bad. Food 10- The food was presented beautifully and was fully cooked and full of savory flavor. The plates we ordered were full to the brim and each bite was full of sauce and not one bite was dry or lacking of anything. Verdict- For being a little cramped and understaffed during our visit the taste and portion size makes up for it and I highly recommend you try this place. Very pleased with this place! We were going to Tsing Tao restaurant in Clovis next to Japanese Kitchen, and that was our go-to for the longest time. But this place is just as good and is closer to home for us. The food is very flavorful and they give you great portion sizes and is well worth price. We got the Orange chicken (delish), the Mongolian Beef (nice little spicy kick to it but still very flavorful). and the pork fried rice and pork chow mein. Both of those were very flavorful as well. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the customer service...I ordered to go and the food wasn't ready for an hour, and also the guy on the phone wasn't the friendliest. I mean we don't have to have an in-depth conversation or anything, but at least be more enthusiastic and ALIVE when answering the phone and taking my order. The guy didn't even say thank you! They also overcharged me a dollar but I didn't catch it until after I left. Next time I'll be sure to have them give me actual prices for the dish over the phone instead of assuming we are talking about the same thing. But anyway, we'll still be back despite the over-the-phone customer service because the food is just that good! read more

Sing Tao is hands down the BEST takeout Chinese in town. There are other places that have good food, but give you small portions, and places that give you large portions, but terrible food. Sing Tao gives you HUGE portions, and amazingly delicious food as well. The prices are comparable with other Chinese restaurants in town, but for the combination of quality and quantity, Sing Tao is the best bang for your buck in town. I like this place. I've never liked Chinese style chowmein until I had it here. The food is flavourful here, no need for any soy sauce. When you get your food you get plenty enough to have left overs or share with someone. Everything I've tried I've liked. Some things I enjoy more than others, but still it's all been good. The staff are all friendly too. They do their best to be fast, but they just can't help how busy they are. Most of the time I come here to order take out, there are people sitting to eat in, sitting waiting for orders and the phone is ringing. The way I see it, a restaurant this busy must be good, or it still wouldn't be this busy. The price is reasonable too. I recommend you give it a try. Just remember that are not open on Monday's.
