    Mongolian beef over noodles
    Russ F.

1st picture, Food has no flavor. This is the second time being there, and disappointed both times. I wish I can give him a good review but the food has no flavor at all , we paid $ 20 for one plate Mongolian beef over noodles and it wasn't worth it ( 2nd picture I go to another place. it's cost under $11 for a big plate and I can eat on it three times it taste very good you get your moneys worth there )

If you are really hungry and short on time, this place is perfect. The portions are huge and the wait time, very minimal. We ordered the orange chicken, fried calamari and garlic tofu with veggies. Along with that were sides of fried rice and noodles. The sides left something to be desired. Rice was plain with some sort of sweet soy sauce and the grain was short and chopped up. The chow mein noodles were just pan fried, no ingredients. The main dishes were however tasty but didn't taste much garlic in the tofu dish. Staff was very friendly. This is definitely more of a take out place but there is some seating.

Got the garlic chicken over pan fried noodles and it was delicious! My only complaint is that the veggies needed to be cut a little smaller. They also use dark meat but I didn't mind maybe next time I'll try white meat

I decided to try this place after seeing photos of their chow mein, which looked absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, what I got was completely different--super crunchy and hard, not at all what I was expecting. That being said, the restaurant itself was clean and well-kept. It's more of a grab-and-go spot rather than a place to sit down and eat. Pricing was okay--two special plates and a side of beef broccoli came out to $38, though they do charge full price for any side items. Overall, it's not a bad spot, but I don't think I'll be back just because of the chow mein. If you like a crunchier style, it might be for you, but personally, I was hoping for something softer and more traditional.

One of the best Chinese food places! I'm only in Clovis occasionally for work and always make plans to eat here at least once. My favorite is the shrimp chow mein and broccoli beef. The flavors are absolutely delicious! It's the type of taste you'd expect in a home-cooked meal when visiting a friend. I've only ordered to-go so not sure about dine-in. The woman taking my order is always kind and provides great service. It's definitely a hidden gem that I look forward to whenever I'm out here.

What can I say... The last time I was here, the different menu has hit me like night and day. It's so much better! Last time I was here I couldn't even rate the food because the place was still new and they were still waiting on other kitchen items. Now, it's fast service and the food smells and tastes amazing. 2 plates of food took under 10 minutes to make. I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

5/30/24 Hot & New! Must try!!! Getting lunch! I called & ordered Chicken Chow Mein. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went in to get it shortly later. The worker was great upon entering. Kind and welcoming. Order was ready. I paid for it and she was happy to give me two fortune cookies and spicy sauces. She wished a good day too!!! Safe, clean & practiced restaurant. Normal set up with a small amount of tables & chairs. Lunchtime! Order split. Chicken Chow Mein 1/2 was Great! Tasty & even better with the sriracha chili sauce packets included! Plus, it's a large amount! Leftovers too! Mother said hers was Great as well!!! Tasty fortune cookies with good fortunes also!!! Great service & Great Chicken Chow Mein lunch! Highly recommended!!!

Our food was for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. We ordered a lot because we weren't sure of the portion sizes, but they were massive so we had leftovers for days! We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Pillowy soft and full of tender BBQ pork, they were my fave. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Clovis!

The family dinner comes with a bowl of sizzling rice soup, An egg roll a pot sticker and foil wrapped chicken. My entree was crispy beef and my husband's entree was Kung pao chicken. Start off the soup was very flavorful, Definitely not your ordinary soup that you would find in the most places to start. The egg roll was a straight veggie roll but it was crispy and flavorful. The pot sticker was probably one of the best I've had in town, The wrapper was not too thick, Silky, Slightly crispy, And the filling was light and delicious not heavy. The Foil wrapped chicken Was different than any other place in that it was lighter and not overburdened with a salty sauce. As far as the entrees, My crispy beef was amazing, So crispy, With a delicious sauce. My husband's Kung pao chicken was so tasty, Everything was fresh and the chicken was not dry. The only downside to our entrees was that they were listed as spicy, But I think you have to ask for really spicy if you look like you can't handle it or something I don't know it just wasn't spicy at all. But we will definitely return and maybe ask for real spicy next time LOL.

As we started to dig in, realized what a blessing in disguise this was. We ordered orange chicken, chow mein, and a mushroom dish with a light sauce. Everything was incredible and the portions were huge. Normally, I'm not chow mein eater, but these noodles were fantastic. They were slightly al dente and tossed in a delicious sauce. Plus, I loved that all the veggies in here still had a crunch. Their orange chicken might be some of the best I've ever had. Instead of frying, they dredge the chicken in a tempura beer batter. Which offered an almost fluffy crunch paired with a light orange glaze. The owner came over and asked how our meal was and we couldn't stop raving. He gave us a few free cream cheese wontons, and once again, these were nothing short of amazing. The owner also stated he has plans to put in a huge glass case display for whole roasted duck and pork. I'll definitely be back to indulge in some of that!

There is finally a reasonably priced Chinese take-out option in town that I actually like. The Mongolian Beef featured tender, flavorful slices of meat paired with crisp, plentiful vegetables. The sauce complemented the dish rather than overwhelming it, and it was not overly greasy. The Garlic Chicken was also good, coated in a savory, slightly sweet soy glaze. The meat was soft and perfectly cooked, again accompanied by fresh, crunchy vegetables. Many of the dishes here are authentically Cantonese-style: savory, built around fresh ingredients, lightly sauced, and never excessively oily. Portions are generous as well. This stands in stark contrast to many other Chinese take-out spots I have tried, where the food leans salty, oversauced, and made with cheaper ingredients -- and becomes practically inedible once it cools down. Judging by the simple décor and limited seating, it is clear this restaurant prioritizes cooking over ambiance. Most customers opt for take-out, which likely helps keep prices affordable. Service is warm and efficient. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and staff members are ready with ordering help and suggestions. Most lunch plates are $10.25 and come with steamed rice or chow mein, or pork fried rice for an additional $2. Lunch plates are offered daily from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The menu covers a broad range of Cantonese and Szechuan favorites -- Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, General Tao Chicken, Szechuan Beef, chow mein, chow fun, plus several soups and fried rice options. Combination plates start at $12.90, and the family specials (three dishes for $41) are a solid value. All in all, it is a great spot for anyone craving affordable, satisfying Chinese food -- especially students and anyone on a tight budget.
