Combo 9. Fried Shrimp (3) & Orange Chicken Plate

BEST FRIED SHRIMP. The rice was amazing too and i usually skip the rice but it was so fluffy and full of tender pork.

Well when we walked in the atmosphere was that of a dated but cute 1980s hole in the wall, which inspired confidence but it was all down hill from there. We waited 15 minutes to have our order taken, when the food came it was... well, the best part of the meal was probably the fortune cookie. The pan fried noodles were completely stiff and almost stale and tasted of old oil, the princess chicken had a very strange taste to it but was reasonably serviceable. My mom had the lemon chicken and it tasted like a lemon bar donut and was thickly battered. When we sent back the noodles we were charged a substitution fee and the chow fun noodles they brought out instead were completely plain as well, and just completely joyless. Honestly, and it pains me to say this. Just go to Panda Express, it's a block away.

12/10/24 Getting lunch! Crab & Cheese won tons and veggie tofu chicken shrimp chow fun ordered. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I went to get it shortly later. They have a room off to the side from the restaurant that's only for to-go orders. Convenient! Greeted by kind worker, let her know my name and order was ready. Paid for it and it sad handed over with a smile. Oh no! Get back to apartment and we received the wrong order. Really disappointing. No tofu and beef. Called to let them know. Go get fresh odder and, at least worker apologized. Lunchtime! Crab & Cheese won tons were Really Good! DELICIOUS! Sweet sauce making it even better! Veggie tofu chicken shrimp chow fun was Great! Very tasty and good amount of all. Mother felt the same. Finished with a fortune cookie too! Good treat! Lots of leftovers! Another meal for both! I took away a star for having to go back. They would've received all stars! Good service and Really Good lunch! Recommended!

I love this restaurant. Especially their potstickers! I seen this guy play with his phone while having on gloves he used to manage food with. There is a reason gloves are to be worn! The germs on his phone then contaminating the food he touches! Pay attention to your workers because thats unprofessional and flat out disgusting.

I come here pretty frequently. Today was extremely awful. The older lady with glasses told us to sit wherever which was great, it's my sons birthday and he was so happy to be out with our family. so since we were a group of 5 we decided to sit at the round table that had 8 chairs, then she says not here and then says it ok. Which wasn't a big deal but then as I'm ordering my daughter was holding the spoon and she yanked it out of her hand!! My children are older and behaved theyre 10 years, 12, & 17 years old. I wasn't even finished ordering which we ordered soups. She then shorted us a plate to serve and never came back to check on us only to give the tab to pay. Then I as I go to the restroom it so filthy ts never like that. So gross!! I will NEVER come back again!

Best hot and sour soup in town. Good service and I never tasted a bad dish I've been going for over 20 years.

Your food is made to order so you can customize everything. There are only two workers (husband and wife) so give them time. This isn't Panda Express. They do close everyday (I think it's 2:00 - 4:30). They do not answer the phone due to the high volume of customers. The line can be almost out the door if you come as soon as they reopen or anywhere near 5pm. It's small so you cannot dine in. What I like is you can see everything them cooking your meal fresh to order. I have a very small family and IMO, one place feeds 3 of us. I am NOT one about quantity, but I weighed my plate out of curiosity last time. It was over 3 lbs! BTW, I love their chow mein. I ask for extra cabbage and onion. Juicy and flavorful. Other suggestions are: orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, Mongolian beef, à la carte BBQ pork fried rice (extra green onion), egg rolls and chicken wings. To me it's with the wait to have fresh customized food at EXTREMELY economy friendly prices. I always tip. One of my favorite spots!

The family dinner comes with a bowl of sizzling rice soup, An egg roll a pot sticker and foil wrapped chicken. My entree was crispy beef and my husband's entree was Kung pao chicken. Start off the soup was very flavorful, Definitely not your ordinary soup that you would find in the most places to start. The egg roll was a straight veggie roll but it was crispy and flavorful. The pot sticker was probably one of the best I've had in town, The wrapper was not too thick, Silky, Slightly crispy, And the filling was light and delicious not heavy. The Foil wrapped chicken Was different than any other place in that it was lighter and not overburdened with a salty sauce. As far as the entrees, My crispy beef was amazing, So crispy, With a delicious sauce. My husband's Kung pao chicken was so tasty, Everything was fresh and the chicken was not dry. The only downside to our entrees was that they were listed as spicy, But I think you have to ask for really spicy if you look like you can't handle it or something I don't know it just wasn't spicy at all. But we will definitely return and maybe ask for real spicy next time LOL.

Soup and salad was a great starter, the salad was a little too sweet. Then we got the appetizer of fried shrimp, cooked to perfection, not to much dough! Delicious! Then came our entree plate smelled wonderful! Spices were on point. We had to rush to eat because the close at 2:30, otherwise lunch was great! We will go back and try other items. I called them the day before I needed the trays. The lady I spoke to was so kind and accommodating she said it was never too late to place an order. I ordered half tray of broccoli beef and one veggie chow mein she gave me my price after tax and gave me the option to pay in person or over the phone. The day of pick up was NYE 5pm my husband was the one who picked up my order under my name. He arrived promptly at 5pm and said the food wasn't ready 5mins after 5pm he said he was about to leave. Literally a 16min drive from the restaurant to my house then another 14min drive to the Nye party we were attending. Upon arrival the food was still piping hot, it smelled AMAZING and they gave sooooo much food!!! It was nearly packed in trays with foil in a box and the food was piled high. I did notice that the veggie chow mein I had ordered was a combo-chicken, beef, shrimp and veggie, no biggie!!! But the food was delicious as always!!! There was so much leftovers. I would definitely use them again for my catering needs.

There is finally a reasonably priced Chinese take-out option in town that I actually like. The Mongolian Beef featured tender, flavorful slices of meat paired with crisp, plentiful vegetables. The sauce complemented the dish rather than overwhelming it, and it was not overly greasy. The Garlic Chicken was also good, coated in a savory, slightly sweet soy glaze. The meat was soft and perfectly cooked, again accompanied by fresh, crunchy vegetables. Many of the dishes here are authentically Cantonese-style: savory, built around fresh ingredients, lightly sauced, and never excessively oily. Portions are generous as well. This stands in stark contrast to many other Chinese take-out spots I have tried, where the food leans salty, oversauced, and made with cheaper ingredients -- and becomes practically inedible once it cools down. Judging by the simple décor and limited seating, it is clear this restaurant prioritizes cooking over ambiance. Most customers opt for take-out, which likely helps keep prices affordable. Service is warm and efficient. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and staff members are ready with ordering help and suggestions. Most lunch plates are $10.25 and come with steamed rice or chow mein, or pork fried rice for an additional $2. Lunch plates are offered daily from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The menu covers a broad range of Cantonese and Szechuan favorites -- Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, General Tao Chicken, Szechuan Beef, chow mein, chow fun, plus several soups and fried rice options. Combination plates start at $12.90, and the family specials (three dishes for $41) are a solid value. All in all, it is a great spot for anyone craving affordable, satisfying Chinese food -- especially students and anyone on a tight budget.
