This time my review is based on my dine in experience. Came in with my mom on our lunch break. We both ordered from the lunch specials menu! We got the same thing.. Kung Pao Chicken 10/10 The chicken was flavorful, hot (temp not spice!), veggies were cooked to perfection came with peanuts, zucchini, green bell peppers and onions. Fried Rice 5/10 it was just rice with eggs and some soy sauce and it was a little on mushy side for my liking. Didn't give me fried rice vibes. Fried wonton chips 10/10 definitely shouldn't be eating these grease filled treats, but the crunch was so satisfying! However, service was nice, everyone was welcoming. Inside was super clean which is appreciated. I'll definitely be back to try something different next time. read more

Saturday, December 27th, 2025, Approx. 12:57 PM QUICK SUMMARY: Delicious Bang for the Buck. A definite try !!! It was a lazy Saturday afternoon after Christmas, and I wanted to try some new Chinese food in North Stockton. This venue had good reviews on Yelp & Google, so I decided to give this place a try and order take-out food. The menu had some daily lunch specials for under $11.00 and this was the route I took. PROS: - Had the Pork Chow Mein, House Chicken & Mongolian Beef. All were delicious. Was surprised at how spicy the Mongolian Beef was, but this was the best of the three dishes. The Pork Chow Mein was well garnished and visually appealing. The House Chicken had the most volume, but I believe that the chicken had been fried some time prior to my visit, and was warmed up / had finishing touches applied, upon receipt of my order. - While waiting for my order I noticed the tasteful interior decor, which gives off a nice dining atmosphere. Especially if one were only ordering a lunch special, it would be a great environment to enjoy your $10.95 & CA State Tax meal. - Further to the above, the prices are a BARGAIN in this era of high inflation. Even the non-lunch special items only go for $12 - $13 bucks. CONS: - The Fried Rice which came with the meal was below my expectations, as it only is white rice with soy sauce and fried eggs sprinkled on top. (See attached pictures.) NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: C'mon folks, I know that you're trying to keep overhead low, but this is not fried rice in any shape or form. Better to just serve white rice and not serve fake fried rice. CONCLUSION: If they had proved better Fried Rice in my order, I'd give this place 5 Stars. But for the price I paid for my meal, I was very satisfied. Thus. if you're in on Hammer Lane and want a good Chinese meal for your hard earned money, this place is an excellent go-to option. read more

My family and I absolutely love Tsing Tao and have been coming here for years. The quality of the food is consistently amazing, and the portions are always generous -- you never leave hungry. We've hosted family gatherings here as well as enjoyed small, casual dinners, and every single time we leave full and happy. The hot and sour soup is to die for and a must-order on every visit. Nancy, the previous owner, was always so warm and welcoming, and that same hospitality continues with the current staff. Their family is so nice! They truly make you feel at home. My lady friends from we come here on Sundays at times and we enjoy the the food a great place to get hang out after church to eat if you want Chinese food except service sometimes it's slow it could be a lot of customers with only two people serving. read more

The family had decided to have dinner here one last time before they close at the end of the month. This restaurant was a definite family favorite growing up, made a lot of memories here. We absolutely love the sizzling rice soup here and order it every time we come here or even to go. Today, we ordered the sizzling rice soup, pot stickers, Mongolian beef, house chicken, prawns ala Tsing Tao, and shredded pork with garlic sauce. Everything tasted great as usual. Let me begin by saying that I used to love this place. We live in the area (15 years), and we've been ordering from here that long. Unfortunately, this place is now under new ownership. They are very nice people and the place continues to be clean and cozy. However, the food quality has substantially declined. I order take out: steam dumplings, pot stickers but steamed, the meat was dry and the dumplings dough too thick. House chicken, the chicken was very dry and we questioned the freshness. Chicken chow mean, again the chicken was dry, and the taste was on the bitter side. The egg drop soup was good, it needed a little flavor, nothing a bit of soy sauce couldn't fix. Decent Chinese food in the middle of no where. I was in town for work so they have either lunch special or dinner special combos, perfect for solo dining rather than having to order multiple dishes. Lunch rush had only one waitress and one cashier but the waitress was hustling everywhere serving all the tables. So my husband walked in and saw Jia, she was Nancy's hard working Waitress !! Jia and her husband and her cousin and wife bought the place ... same menu. Been going here for years, especially when I was growing up in stockton. Lunch special staple & Big dinners with family.. quality and taste of the food hasn't changed a bit. I love the Mongolian beef, house chicken, and the eight hot delicacies with fried riceeee! When you order takeout, they no longer include soup. Found that out today but I didn't care lol I went and bought some because that's basically the main reasons as to why I love their lunch special so much!!!! It's a hot and sour soup with no meat- for a la carte they offer this soup as well but it'll come with chicken or shrimp. I also love love loveee their kimchi! Yummy sweet and crunchy cabbage. #1: I have traveled to Lodi and Lathrop to find the small Chinese noodles, instead of the "spaghetti-size" chow mein noodle, which seems to be used by many Chinese restaurants. Unbelievable, my wife and I walked in, our second time, in 12 years. We live .7 of a mile from Tsing Tao and the noodles were like the ones I grew up eating in Lodi. Delicious and wonderful atmosphere! The food stayed so warm that after they put our leftovers in the boxes, the table was nearly hot to the touch, from where the plates were sitting. 3/5/23 - I didn't cook and I was craving Chinese Food, especially broccoli beef. I have only been here three times and the first visit was great, I ordered a dinner for one and dined-in; it was a great experience!! The second & this one I am doing take-out. I ordered Mongolian Beef & shrimp fried rice the second time, and I did not care for the rice, too many carrots & peas. This visit I ordered the broccoli beef, a small wonton soup & fried won-tons. The wontons were not good and no meat; the surprise was you get a lot. So far the broccoli beef & the Mongolian Beef are winners!!! The restaurant is always clean and the one waitress is very nice. The cashier is always busy helping with pick -up orders and the constant flow of customers coming in. If you decide to dine-in you will like the peacefulness of the restaurant. There are people constantly coming in picking up orders, but they are quiet. read more
