The service was kind, but we got there right when they opened and they seemed like they were still getting ready for the day so it was kinda slow but once she got our order in the food came out quickly. Everything had a unique sweetness to it including the California roll and crunch role, which my kids really liked. The Mongolian beef was very good as was the chowmein. The chowmein was light, not in a heavy sauce which was good. All the veggies and proteins were very fresh. The fish soup in hot broth was very good. The fish was tender but the only real flavor is hot chili... pretty one note, but if you like hot chili it's good. However it was also very hot not just spicy so it was hard to eat. It would have been good over some white rice. The food is good but the venue in general doesn't give off prosperity, at least during the day... things like a box of paper towels in the hall way and unpacking sodas and to go ware in the dinning area on the tables just doesn't make it feel very nice... but the food it very good. Feels more like a good take out place. Did notice a lot of door dash and it'd be good for a catered party. My kids also couldn't get over the AI rocker on the tv... Pros: the portion size for the general Tso chicken at least was pretty good. It's not a lunch plate so obviously it's not meant for just one person. Nonetheless I ate a lot of it but there was still plenty to take home. Flavor and the type of heat was a bit different than I'm used to but overall I still liked it. Decent amount of tables. Cons: the pieces were inconsistent; there were pieces that had some decent crunch and pieces that had none whatsoever. Place could be a little cleaner and the menus could use some updating but nothing too crazy. Notes: they've been on my radar for the longest time and the one time prior that I came here I found out that they took General Tso off of the lunch menu. At the time I came just for that so it took me a while before I eventually came back. While I did say I liked the flavor, it's a bit less common than what I'm used to. Is that more authentic? prices are very reasonable but the amount of protein was limited. Mongolian beef was fine, but the beef vs. onion was 50-50 percent. The spicy green beans were supposed to be spicy and since it's Szechuan, I asked for medium resulting in almost no spice spicy hot flavor whatsoever, and any other seasonings were just so finely chopped that they were in discernible in flavor added. The potstickers were mushy and again hardly any filling inside mostly all soggy noodle. I checked out their menu beforehand and was very impressed by the assortment of sushi on their menu. unfortunately, none available whatsoever. (9.12.26) Very disappointing. I'm giving this place a four only because the tables were full of dirty dishes. They had to direct us to a table in the back near the bathroom and supplies. Maybe we caught them after a lunch rush but it was rather weird. Here's another thing, we come to the door and it's filthy; between finger and food smudges and that bothers me but the food is great! We shared a sweet and sour plate and an egg plant tofu dish. If the sweet and sour chicken had had pineapple I would have given them a five. I love Chinese food and I have not been able to find any good Chinese food in town, but one day I came across this place on Yelp and I thought I'd try it. When went on a week day so it was not busy at all, it's located in a big parking lot so plenty of parking. Of course we sat down immediately and the customer service was great! We looked over the menu but we're so sad to find out we missed the lunch special by 2 minutes 2 MINUTES!!! Anyway, It is very spacious inside a little out dated with the decor but a nice space. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, salt and pepper chicken and pork chops for the hubby. The order took a while despite the fact that we were basically the only ones there but when it came it was hot and fresh so I was happy. i've only ever had to go orders here and one door dash order, they didn't follow the instructions in my order so I won't go through DD again. the food is so good and taste as authentic as you can find --it's the best i've had in stockton so far . the chili oil is delicious I order extra just to eat with meals at home. so far the customer service has been ok, a to go order was incorrect once and they quickly remade the order and let us keep the item which was appreciated. I'm not sure why cause I go to Costco once or twice a week and it's right next to it but you know everybody has their favorite restaurants. This place is incredible in regard to service and flavor. We had a big party here for my nephew's 1st birthday and they did fabulous with the decorations and the layout of the food. Our guests were very happy and satisfied with variety of food and the flavor. We loved the food and the experience so much that we came back again to eat for valentines and Chinese New Year. I mainly stick to my regular orders but I wanted to try something a bit different. I tried their Philadelphia Roll and their Prosperity Roll. Although the prices changed from the menu online & some of the items- they were still within a reasonable range. One thing I noticed that you don't get from other resturants- is the portion. My mother and I came to have lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The service and food was 100/10!!! The restaurant was clean and spacious. I had my son who is 2 and is very vocal and they were the best with him. We got the beef brisket ramen and our eyes were rolling in the back of our heads from how good it was. The portion was very well worth the $15! We also order the beef fried rice and the rice was sooo yummy! You could taste everything without it being to oily or burnt oil taste. We also got a California roll which was a nice palette cleanser for us between eating the ramen and soup dumplings. The soup dumplings were sooo delicious my son couldn't stop eating them. I spent over $109 on an order here, and the experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. When I arrived, there was only one waitress handling the entire dining room. I stood at the front for a significant amount of time while she brought food, water, and sodas to other tables, but she never even acknowledged me or offered a simple greeting. To make matters worse, after paying over $100, I got home only to find a single fork and spoon in the bag. When you pay a premium price, you expect at least basic communication and a complete order. The ingredients and flavors have changed drastically and the food is weird tasting. Noticed they've added sushi to the menu, something no one asked for. They didn't have it before and they certainly don't need it now. This is no longer a Chinese restaurant . Unfortunately, the quality of everything else has gone downhill too. My meat dish was a waste of $16 for a tiny portion with barely any meat. What little "meat" there was turned out to be hard and inedible, couldn't even chew it. 10/2/23 - I decided that broccoli-beef would be dinner, so I stopped at Prosperity on my way home. I was greeted by a different young lady and she told me that they were the new owners. I was wondering what was going on since the windows were so colorful; like animated!! They were announcing some of their dishes. They even installed a small partition as you walk in. I ordered my food & drink from the menu of the last owners. I can't think of the plastic cover, but anyway it makes it look nice and not all messed up and crinkled from other customers; with these they can keep them clean and sanitized. The lady that greeted me said that they will be changing some things and adding combo dishes to make it more affordable for families to come and eat. There were not any customers in there, four were coming out when I parked. My food was hot & good, my only gripe was some of the broccoli pieces were bigger than others, I wished they had cut those, they didn't give me a knife which must Asian places don't. I just used my fork. It looked like one of the manager's or owner's came in. I could hear her talking about the business. Not the normal tan tan noodles. EVERYTHING was EXTREMELY salty that we had to stop eating. Like someone poured a gallon of salt in my food.
