2nd time having issues here now…read more I specifically requested an AC diagnostic and explained upfront that I had already replaced the compressor, had the system charged the day before, and that a full leak/pressure test had already been performed. Instead of moving forward with a true diagnostic, they repeated the exact same service (discharge and recharge) that had just been done, and then charged me $285 for it. In the end, I'm back to square one--still not knowing what's wrong with my AC, but now out the money for a redundant service I did not need. To make it worse, I was told I'd need to pay even more for a diagnostic... which is what I had asked for in the first place. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. Be careful coming here for service and make sure they're clear on what you're requesting, or you may end up paying twice without answers. Always ask for Donny. He is awesome! I'd give him zero stars if i could. absolutely awful…read more first my husband took in his classic beetle for an oil leak, was told that the engine needed all new seals. after that was told that he needed new crankshaft bearings. from there over the next several months( He was told 2 weeks to begin with and was told repeatedly that it would be done in just 1 week more) he was told he needed new tranny mounts, a new crankshaft, and new pushrod tubes. Rick finally got the bug done and did not test drive it. he did take it on a medium speed road (45 mpg) but not the highway. my husband picked up his finally working car and was getting on the highway to run some errands when it threw the flywheel and I had to come get him and tow the beetle back to the shop. that finally got repaired after a few more weeks. and we moved out of state. many times I had gone by the shop and seen my husbands car sitting in the parking lot while other cars were getting worked on. had those cars been there for two months? no, but obviously they were more important. when I came in extremely pissed off that other cars were being worked on instead of my husbands rick told me that it was my husbands fault for driving the car so damn hard. I wasn't aware that mechanics were supposed to be upset at the drivers when someone brought in a car and paid upfront. we towed beetled out of utah and my husband started driving it again. it broke down every day for a week. we just had the engine looked at AGAIN, and were told that "who ever rebuilt this engine owes you a new engine, or at the very least a new flywheel, clutch disk crankshaft and rear main seal." apparently the flywheel was not installed properly and was referred to as a "rookie mistake". the engine is pretty much shot now. over all it SUCKED. rick did do some work 'for free' which was nice if you dont mind waiting half a year for a car that may or may not work.

Didn't find any major issues, just scheduled maintenance. We bought that car. The next day the check engine light came on. We went back and there was an issue that was missed because the previous owner cleared the codes (or had someone else do it). They made the repair in 15 minutes free of charge because they missed it. Always starts the same, then work was done that I questioned [they denied saying it-of course they would] Then while "Trying to explain the issue, I get interrupted by MATT, and tries to say it's something else-this turns into a shouting match & me asking this person to step away & get out of my space {I'm next to the car seat & door and he's pinned me in[which he never does back up-actually steps closer [intimidate/control] he's 6'3"+ & 350 lbs... Not a good thing to do!! Going forward, made another appointment to try & fix this ongoing issue [started as CVC joint and wheel bearings as they said I needed, then turns into alignment and CVC joint and rack & pinion gear-missing a tooth??- which would include the alignment ... said wheel bearing were fine..huhh? Okay- now after all that, there's a 1/2 to 24inch play in the steering [which wasn't there before] wheel-after it gets warm... last Thursday, I showed it to them and returned monday to get it "warrantied" which was stated by Matt-The big guy and fix it-.. Great Monday comes and nothing done to it, they can't see or find the issue TOOK THE ENTIRE DAY FOR 3 PEOPLE TO DRIVE IT AND NOT A THING WAS FIXED.... yeahhhh but can you leave it here another day to waste my time.... Soooo they accomplished what they set out to do-frustrate me enough to not have to fix they're F^CK UPs.... So now my SVU has a front wobble, with a 1/2 play in the steering wheel [which-it drove perfectly steering wise] Actually I won't drive long distances, now-because it is NOT safe to!! Also I changed the tires to eliminate that possibility.. and added a tune up... [which is messing up also-asked them to replace the wiring because of cross firing-they replaced the "BOOTS" only, and the weak wires were cross firing yesterday so another $600.00 lost, plus $1,200 tires [had 60% tread] Okay Okay I am RANTING now... Yeah, I am very upset. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING WITH THEM-i TRUSTED THEM & GOT SCREWED.... GONNA FIND ANOTHER MECHANIC TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES AND RETUNE IT

So we stopped by and was looking for someone and we found Kyle and asked him how much to fill our tires up and he told us to pull around front and he would fill it, and he did and told us it was free? I was like wow thank you, i tipped him, and told him how thankful we were and he was very friendly and outgoing and professional. I really appreciated that, thank you so much for that. Kyle thank you for being a good sport and real, we will definitely be back for other issues we might have in the future.
