The absolute best dog walker and boarder! Judd is such a sweet soul and you know he genuinely cares about every single dog. He's been walking and boarding our dog, cashew for the past couple years. He's communicative with organized pick up and drop offs, he's timely, cashew is always so happy to see him for their walks, and he also always sends pictures after walks and boarding with cute messages. We love Sondra and Judd and are heartbroken that we can't take them with us when we move out of SF. When we adopted our Staffy over a year ago, we scrambled to find a dog walker in the city who could accommodate her. Sondra and Judd were by far the most responsive (a lot of places didn't even bother responding), came over the next day to meet our pup, and got her started on group walks that week. Elle (our dog) loves going out with Sondra every day and romping around with her BFF, and she always comes back tired and happy. You couldn't ask for a more diligent and caring dog walker than Sondra. She's punctual and reliable, checks in and out using the Pet Check app, sends us photos of that day's outing, and always drops Elle off at home with clean paws and a fresh bowl of water. Even after COVID hit and group walks had to be put on hold, Sondra worked around our WFH schedules and still took Elle out on 1:1 outings. We've also relied on Sondra and Judd frequently for boarding services, and I trust them 100% to handle anything that comes up, even health emergencies. On more than one occasion, I've had to leave for overseas work trips right after Elle developed some health issue (like that time she ate an entire bag of chocolate almonds!), and Sondra and Judd have always handled things calmly and professionally. Once when Elle got sick while I was overseas for work, Sondra kept us apprised of her situation and even jumped on the phone at weird hours to help assuage my anxiety. Tsublu is absolutely awesome. Why? I met Sondra through a referral from another dog walker. I moved from Mission Bay ALL the way to Soma (like 3 whole blocks) and my old dog walker couldn't service my new building. Needless to say, I went ape sh*t because it's like having to find a new school for my furry child and everyone just freaks out over whether the dog will fit in. Sondra and I met in person. She walked my dog to do a quick test run on the day we met. We went through with quirks. Every dog is quirky in their own way. Sondra told me that she will put my dog into a trial period to make sure my dog got along with the pack. Now that's how you know she truly cares about the dogs and it's not just about the money. You can't expect a group of dogs to get along. It doesn't work that way. My dog is a bossy little beezy and definitely acts like Regina George. She has her little cliques in her old playgroup. She has her close group and then the rest are tolerable dogs. Man... what a beezy?! Anywho.. Regina George quickly formed her own clique at tsublu. Tamed her initial nemesis. All is well now. How do I know all that? Tsublu sends me a daily report email with my beezy dog's adventure. Where she went. When she did her business. Which business did she do. Her route so I know which park Regina George terrorrized. Sondra uses pet check. There's a qr scan when she picks up my corgi. They it tracks their adventure. I get two photos of my dog every day. Stop searching .... if you are looking for a reliable/dependable/awesome dog walker basically to replace you when you cannot be there for your dog-TSUBLU is your golden ticket. We have a sweet vivacious 2-year-old German Shepherd "puppy" aptly named Sophia who absolutely loves Sondra. Sophia has been walking with Sondra since she was only 4 months old and the sheer amount of tail wagginess and excited yelping when Sondra walks walks through our door is insane. Mind you Sondra walks Sophia 5x a week. You know they have a ball together. Whenever we are out of town for a few days or just have a night out on the town, Tsublu is also our go-to for watching Sophia As a SF dog, Sophia of course has a special diet and Sondra has always been mindful of all Soph's needs. Its amazing the time and devotion Sondra has invested in our dog, The daily emails and pictures about Sophia's adventures with her buddies brighten our day and I love sharing them with whoever will listen to me talk eons about my dog. When we lived in SF, our miniature pinscher, Spunky, went on pack walks with Judd. We have since moved to Redwood City, but for the past two years we still have Spunky stay with Judd when we go away. Judd cares for your dog like it's his own. The pack walks make for some good exercise! Spunky is always tired out afterwards- a good tired- the "I walked everywhere and sniffed everything and peed on every tree kind of tired!" Whether your dog is walking with Judd or staying over for boarding (which consists of daily walks and nightly couch snuggles) you'll receive cute photos of your pup being cute, as well as a report of how everything went! I cannot say enough about how incredible Judd and Sondra are. Unfortunately they don't do daily walks in my neighborhood (the Castro), but my dog Maggie May has been staying with Judd when I'm away for roughly two years now, and the experience is always fantastic. Judd is very responsive, and usually very flexible with my changing work travel schedule. At the end of each day, I get a long (and amusing) email about what the dogs did that day, usually with some great pictures of the group and of Maggie solo. If that isn't enough reassurance, Maggie is genuinely excited to see him whenever he comes to pick her up (and she has, at times, growled at past walkers). She wiggles and clearly loves him. I trust him completely to keep my dog safe, healthy, and happy, and I'd recommend him to anyone. This service is the best in the business. read more

Can't get much better than Sondra. She's been walking our dog for a few years now! Not only is Sondra super-nice and reliable, she loves our dog and our dog loves her! We trust her completely 10000% with our baby and when we go out of town - Sondra stays with her and probably has more fun than she has with us! Plus our dog, has her own Tsublu crew. She's shy and we found this is a great way for her to socialize and build up her confidence. Sondra knows her temperment and does everything to make sure she's happy, safe and tail-waggin'. We just don't know what we'd do without Judd and Sondra! We've been lucky to have them as part of our family for many years now. They've even been there for us when we've lost a few of our pets to old age / sickness. We're moving this spring out of the city and they're the only reason why we wouldn't want to move. Wish we could take them with us. We've had pet nanny's from Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Los Gatos, Belmont, and San Francisco. They are 100% the best we've ever worked with. My beloved dog Spud died in Judd's care. He was almost two years old. Spud was a fearful dog, afraid of strangers and a flight risk. He had run away before under Sondra's care, although luckily another dogwalker found him for us that time. We moved him to walks with Judd because we didn't think he could run away when always on-leash. Judd knew about Spud's temperament, and he had been walking him for about 6 months. On September 14, one of Judd's dogs attacked another dog within the group. Judd told me he had already unloaded Spud, along with all the other dogs in the van, but he dropped all the leashes in order to get the attacking dog under control. Any dogwalker will tell you, this is a negligent thing to do - he could have secured the leashes in the car door, he could have stepped on them, he could have worn a carabiner to clip them onto quickly, he could have asked a passerby to hold the leashes for him. Spud ran away, two blocks away from where I was, two blocks away from home. This was around 3pm. Sondra called me at 4:45pm to tell me that Spud was lost. We found Spud's body on the freeway the next day. He had been hit in the head by a car. He must have been so cold, so hungry and thirsty and afraid. I hope he died instantaneously, without further pain. I will never know. I want to be a compassionate person. Maybe Judd made an error of judgment when he let go of all those leashes. Maybe he panicked at an unfamiliar situation and made a mistake. But why didn't I hear about my dog being lost until almost 2 hours later? If your dog is fearful, you have the best chance of recovering your dog, you need to be alerted immediately. When a dogwalker loses your dog, they need to alert you immediately anyway. If your dog is a well-balanced dog that gets along with both people and other dogs, they will probably be fine in Judd or Sondra's care. I can't say I had that experience. I hope that Judd and Sondra change their emergency protocol, even if they never tell their other clients about this incident. When a dog is lost, getting your other dogs home is not the priority. Your business is not the priority. Everything has to stop until that dog is found. My husband and I will never stop mourning our dog and the life we wanted to give him. It's a tragic event that has no end. When you hire a dogwalker, ask difficult questions - what would they do if they ever lost your dog, or your dog got hurt or was attacked? Do they invest in learning dog training or dog behavior? Do they volunteer in dog rescues (showing that they care about dogs in general, not just as their business)? It might be an uncomfortable at first, but better that then suffer for it later. I will say that the check-in process and daily reports that Judd and Sondra do made me feel safe - it made me feel that they were reliable. But those aren't what's important. The safety of your dog is paramount. read more

We are thrilled to have Judd as our dog walker. Our puggle Rio LOVES him so much - she goes crazy when she sees him. She always comes back from her walks tired out and socialized, which is awesome. We have a doggy cam set up, and whenever Judd comes over, we see Rio's tail wagging. He always gives her a cuddle, talks to her, and makes sure she has water in her bowl (sorry for being a bit creepy with our nest cam, Judd! lol). His walks are 1 hour, but can end up longer. Once, we told him we would be away for a long day, and he took Rio on an extra adventure to make sure she was not alone and sad. He always sends us photos of their walk (they are amazing and funny- like how does he get them to pose like that?!) and emails us an update of what happened on their walk (how many poops and pees, where they went, etc). We LOVE Judd, Rio loves him, and he cares for the pups more than any other dog walker we've had. read more

I absolutely love working with Sondra and Judd. They've been walking and caring for our pets for years. We have a small rescue dog min pin/chihuahua mix that was so shy and unable to engage with other people/dogs that we had a hard time finding walkers that were willing to work with us. Some said our pup would never get over her anxiety and they would not be able to walk her. Finally when we met Sondra her gentle care and touch turned our little girl around.
