Absolutely amazing food! Tried the Tsunama crisps, firecracker and Diablo rolls. Everything was amazing! Awesome friendly staff as well. The best sushi I've had!

I love this place. Most of the Thai food in the area is not good, and the only decent sushi spot is George's (which is seasonal sushi only) ...Then along came tsunama! What a win for the area, honestly. I love their specials, their pad Thai is bomb, their crab rangoons and gyoza are both solid, and it's great that they have sushi! Sake is on the pricier side, but that's a minor gripe. Food is great, though. Enough said, pictures speak for themselves.

Amazing restaurant! I came here last year and it was a very memorable experience. The food is the highest quality. The portions are gigantic. It feels like a lot of options but they don't just specialize in one type of food. They do it all and they do it great. The sushi is top notch, the rice and pad Thai is some of my favorites. The hibachi is out of this world... Their vegetables are so fresh and delicious... the wonton soup and the miso soup are phenomenal. For dessert we had their delectable fried ice cream and mochi ice cream. The service is above and beyond. I would eat here every night if I could. They have indoor seating for many... It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside... And they have outdoor seating in the summer. This restaurant is super clean and the food has never gone wrong.

Truly phenomenal all around! The cutest little spot inside decorated for the holidays felt like we were transported to a cozy hallmark Christmas movie spot! Started with edamame and the fried shrimp appetizer which was incredible. I've never had fried shrimp that was so light, crispy, and flavorful! Specialty rolls we had were the Nami, Allie's, and Red Dragon (tuna). Size of rolls were perfect - 3 rolls fed us 2 adults just right. Also the lychee martini was dangerously good - a perfect light sweetness, crisp, and refreshing! Our server Renz was so attentive to the kids and had great recommendations. True, genuine service is hard to come by these days and he was so appreciated! (I also selfishly don't want to announce how good this place is because I want to keep this hidden secret gem to ourselves, but honestly - try it. You will love it!)

Intimate setting. Attentive service. Food was excellent, start to finish. We began with tempura vegetables, scallion pancakes and crispy chicken wings. All were very nicely done. I had a great house roll: the firecrackah. My wife and daughter split a tofu pad thai which they loved. Large portions! I also had a good sake. Relatively Affordable. Go there!

Lovely experience across the board! We made reservations in advance and had an incredibly tasty and high quality meal of sushi and appetizers. The ambiance is cozy and low-lit, and service was unmatched - you can tell everybody really cares. 10/10 would recommend this hidden gem!

Nice addition to Narragansett given scarce dining options. Fresh catch and well priced. Try it out!

This is really just the sushi section in Belmont Market. You can always go to a sushi restaurant…read moreand get better sushi, but for a quick to-go sushi, this place is pretty good. They have some pretty simple rolls, and they have some pretty out there kind of rolls. I've never had one that I outright disliked, though? I tend to look for the blackship roll, tempura roll, signature roll #2, or spicy sake (I still think spicy salmon is better than spicy tuna). Oh, their seaweed salad is pretty good too. For me, this is a nice place to stop by on the way home and pick up some sushi on a whim quickly.

Please don't let this review reflect at all on Belmont market, they are a wonderful market run by a…read moregreat staff. This sushi place is an independent contractor working inside the market. My visit today is the second time I've experienced the terrible customer service/personality of the sole individual that runs sushi go. He does make good sushi, however his customer service is so bad you will either get mad or just have to laugh it off because it is just that terrible. I came to the market today to do our weekly shopping and knowing that the sushi needs to be ordered ahead of time with a wait I went straight there to order first and thought I could pick it up after a full shopping. I was told that I could only place an order over the phone and that it would be at least 45 minutes. Ok. I asked what number to call and the owner said to call the market. I asked him for the number and he repeated himself. Ok. While standing in front of him and his sushi case I looked up the number on my phone and called and was connected to the deli. And then the owner, who was just talking to me, walked over to the deli phone and took my order and over the phone told me that it would be 30 minutes. He was literally 15 feet away from me talking to me on the phone to take an order that he could have taken with a simple friendly conversation! I came back 40 minutes later and picked it up. I stopped to let the manager know about my experience and was told they have huge stack of customer complaints about him. They rent space to him, so it's not a simple case of getting rid of an unpleasant employee. If you like sushi and don't have to deal with or don't care about experiencing a person who just shouldn't be in contact with the general public then I highly recommend sushi-go!

Adam waited on us at the inside bar and provided phenomenal service. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to his guests are a tremendous asset to your establishment. I would be remiss if I did not also recognize Eve, Casey, Paige, Al, Jordan, Dan, and Jeff. You have an incredible service team that is second to none. We have spent time at both the restaurant and the Tiki Bar, and most recently we had the pleasure of being served by Gina, who was also exceptional. As a former employment recruiter, I can honestly say that I would be trying to recruit this incredible staff myself! They are dedicated, positive, hospitable, and take tremendous pride in both their professional and personal service. They consistently perform under maximum stress with efficiency, professionalism, and a smile. I understand there is currently a contest on Yelp, and we would like to nominate Adam. He embodies everything you could want in a member of your waitstaff: spirit, dedication, knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine devotion to providing an outstanding guest experience. He has a wonderful ability to make guests feel as though they are not only being well cared for, but that he is genuinely enjoying his job as well. Choosing one person was extremely difficult because your entire team deserves recognition. However, Adam stood out as a phenomenal leader, and that is why we are choosing him for our nomination. I would gladly hire or recommend any one of these fine young men and women. They are truly exceptional representatives of George's. We wish those who are moving on to college or graduate school all the best in their future endeavors. We will certainly continue to frequent George's, as we have for many years, and look forward to seeing this wonderful team whenever we visit. Thank you for having such an incredible group of people representing your establishment. They truly make the experience special! Cousins, Annie & Tommy (Annie 401-241-9427)

I absolutely love Belmont and rave about it to people, it's kind of become a destination to me…read morewhenever I'm in the area. Their selection of prepared foods, including vegetarian friendly ones, is massive, and I often get a bunch on "lazy weeks" and they are such a big help with meal planning. Their fresh desserts and breads are amazing, I always get their mini bagels. I shopped the last hour of the day on a weekday most recently to avoid the usual crowds since the aisles can get tight, but almost everything was gone except cinnamon Raisin bagels (for obviously reasons lol). I was sad to see the selection so low, but I guess these are hot items and sell out earlier in the day?? I had no idea but will plan around this next time. They have a lot of interesting dairy free and vegan options in the dairy section that I don't see elsewhere, or that I saw at Belmont years before I saw in other places - they are ahead of the times! Some items here will run you $1-$2 more than they would in another grocery store though, so in the future I think I will stick to specialty items I can only find here, and will drag myself to another grocery store for my basics, because the upcharge here is a little nuts. A frozen bag of broccoli florets was at least twice if not triple the price it would be at another store, and it was a basic brand I'd never even heard of. I do love their natural self care section and what I'll call the "items perfect for gifting" section as soon as you walk through the door - I always have to smell the local lavender. There are a ton of unique sections and offerings here that make the upcharge on other items kindaaaaa worth it (if I don't think about it for too long). All in all I'm a huge fan and will continue to look forward to future trips here! A couple small areas of improvement though: - Something about their prepared foods makes them seem to go bad pretty quickly, like within 3 days - the oils just go rancid on certain things, or they start tasting off. I know prepared items don't have a long shelf life in general, and I don't know what it is about these specifically, but they seem to turn quicker than options from other places - Service is typically pretty helpful when checking out, but on my last visit, the cashier and bagger didn't even greet me and were too busy talking and laughing with each other to even really acknowledge me. I got home and realized the instant coupon on something I bought wasn't even scanned, which was annoying because that was a big reason I bought that item specifically, and it's RIGHT THERE - isn't that cashier 101 to scan the instant coupons??

Cannot say enough about Belmont Market. My husband even loves this place. They have everything you…read moreneed, nicely stocked, and clean. All of the food and produce is fresh.
