They lost our order once, when we finally placed our order, they over charged our card and told us they couldn't reverse the charge until the next week when a manager was in. They said they Would call us with a quote for another job, but never heard back even after follow up calls. Will not do business here again and would recommend finding another place unless you have a bunch of time to waste.

Our experience with Jenni Henderson and Northwood Kitchens echoes that of Jeff T., the previous…read morereviewer. We ended up losing eight thousand dollars to Henderson, who belongs in jail. As the previous reviewer stated, she seems professional and caring upfront. She even brought her mother along to help measure our kitchen. However, once your money is in her hands (thank God we only paid a fraction of what the final cost was to be), she is nothing but excuses and lies. She had actually done work for us in the past so we considered her something of a friend. That didn't stop her from shamelessly ripping us off. She strung us along for months, until we finally pulled the plug and went with another company, who gave us a fantastic kitchen, with stellar workmanship. They were honest and above board all the way. Unlike Henderson. Fortunately, we were able to afford the hit but what about those who can't walk away from a scam unscathed? Believe me, Henderson wouldn't care one iota. It is incredible to me that she she is able to sleep at night but then, anyone who uses her "dying" husband (he was already dead, when she tearfully tried that trick) to prevent her marks from getting antsy will truly stoop to any low, apparently without regrets. Run away from Northwood Kitchens and this con artist before you lose a bundle!

The field rep was booked for 2 weeks before appointments but sounded excited about the project. After not hearing about an appointment for 1 1/2 weeks, I finally tracked her down and she curtly told me they wouldn't do my project and were booked for the year. Waste of time.

Why would you put a price for a product that a huge majority would expect done in the first place? Whatever. Sent me an estimate and in the fine print (why fine print when there is plenty of room to make the information the same font size so people can easily read it?) stated that the demo cost and removal is not included in the estimate. When I requested the cost of demo and removal the president refused to disclose the cost of demo and removal. When I explained that I need to have an idea of all costs, Mr. President ( he listed himself as the president of the company, I'm guessing to let me know there is no point to complain up) informed me he won't do business with me because "our price mindsets are different". I told him I've never been politely fired as a customer and I'm 56 years old. He replied he's been in business for 46. I am sure they probably do good work, but to treat me like he did for simply requesting all costs of a project prior to paying 50% of the costs reflect arrogance and my need to share this with others. Lots of people can install countertops. I went somewhere else and I am glad I did.

What sold us to go with Elevation Custom Coatings was Jason's attention to detail. We discussed finishes, the process to obtain that perfect finish, and what to expect on timing of it all. With a plan in place, we were convinced we made the right call on who to go with. From Day 1, Jason and his amazing team of professional painters were on time, worked diligently with all their prep work, and took every step to ensure we were pleased with their work. Despite the home being a work zone, they were more than accommodating in navigating around us while we stayed in the home during the project. Jason and his team were a joy to be around and we grew to like and appreciate them all a great deal. And when the work was completed, we were in awe of the craftsmanship. With very little to touch up at the end, it's clear this group really takes pride in what they do. I couldn't recommend Elevation enough. Any painter can throw color on the walls, but this group takes it to the next level of what QUALITY work should look like.
