The food is amazing! I love the Seattle roll & the California roll! My favorite thing to drink there is the citrus sake with a seaweed salad! So good! My whole Oder is around $31.50 the California roll is $6 the Seattle roll is $12 The citrus sake is $9.50 and a seaweed salad is $3 or $4.

We came across this small restaurant during our trip this past weekend to Moses Lake. I was intrigued to find a Japanese sushi restaurant in a town as small as Moses Lake. Our expectations were not high, all things considered, and I can say that the food basically matched our expectations. We got a crunchy shrimp roll to share as an appetizer, which was pretty good. The sushi roll was big and the ingredients were fresh enough. The Chicken Katsu and Chicken Yakisoba were average and not very impressive. The Chicken Katsu cutlet was dry and came with this weird white sauce (Tartar sauce?) instead of the usual Katsu sauce. The only thing that stood out about this meal was the price, the Chicken Katsu was $17 and the Chicken Yakisoba was $15. The price to food quality ratio was not good, and I ended up regretting spending nearly $50 for such a basic and average meal. Food is generally cheaper on the Eastern side of Washington state, which is why this restaurant caught me off guard. Overall, the food was generally uneventful but the prices were high. We will definitely be skipping over this restaurant if we are ever in town again.

We were passing by and need to grab something to eat. We gave this place a try. The sushi here are pretty decent. We tried four different rolls and they are not too bad. I have eaten a lot of sushi, so I can do a good retaliation and have high expectations. This place does not rank at the top of my list but definitely close to the top. The waiter was difficult to understand but very nice. The restroom was clean and smelled good. The downside was their floor was very sticky and poor ventilation so we smelled like we were in the kitchen after we left there.

Food was poor quality. Burnt taste to oil used for noodles items not as ordered undercooked seafood. Place has really gone downhill.

From service to wait time to the cost of the smallest portions of food is horrendous. The food is delicious, but that's it.

I ordered the sumo fried rice with chicken and a cup of miso soup. My wife ordered a shrimp and noodle dish and a sushi roll they had on their eraser board at the front entrance that was an advertised special. It was supposed to be a smoked salmon roll. My miso soup came out fairly quickly. The soup was ok tasting but the cup they brought it in was maybe 1/3 full. Maybe than ran out? Not sure but I didn't say anything about it. After a very long wait and other people beside us ordering after us and eating and getting take out trays our food finally comes out. I started in on my chicken fried rice. It was a large portion so I was pleased until my second or third bite. Something in my rice had an extremely earthy off putting flavor almost like dirt. I couldn't put my finger on it but it was just bizarre tasting for a rice dish. My wife started in on her shrimp and noodle dish wich she said was fairly decent. Then she went for the sushi roll. She took one bite and immediately spit it out. Her salmon was completely raw. It is advertised on the board as smoked salmon! She will not eat raw salmon. She ate her fill of the noodle dish and I ate a bit more of the rice trying to just get my belly full and thinking next time don't get fried rice. Well there will not be a next time after what came next. The waitress drops off the bill and never came back so we couldn't tell her about the salmon. We finally just took the bill up front to the cashier. My wife tells them about the raw salmon and the lady was completely uninterested in the complaint. When then point to the specials board right in front of her to show her it clearly states SMOKED salmon. She again mumbled something and told us our total. She made no adjustments for the 15.00 sushi we left on the table. I didn't even mention the awful rice or empty cup of soup I paid for. I never ever ask for any discount on a restaurant bill but this was blatantly wrong. Even after the cashier read the smoked salmon on the board they offered nothing. Not even to make it right to go or anything. Her attitude was very cold and uncaring. Will not be returning.

Micheal's by the Lake is the surprisingly upstart. This is a much needed relief. The oasis in this culinary desert. We came as a large group to celebrate my in-law's birthday. The price reflected what you receive. I had the special, chicken mole. While the chicken was cooked decently, I don't think I've ever had such a bland tasting mole sauce. Maybe a stiff margarita would have made it all better. Service was mediocre. Had to ask for water three times. The waitress was very disengaged and missed other things we ordered. But the ambiance is really cool. Very colorful local-artist kind of vibe. It also appears they accommodate large groups pretty well.
