What a great find in Wenatchee! I wasn't sure what to expect in this area, but based on the Yelp reviews we thought we'd give it a try. Sushi is very high quality and we had an awesome dinner. The gentleman who was being the waitor and greeter was very friendly. At least two sets of regulars came in that he recognized. If you like sushi and you are in this area, this place is certainly worth eating at!

    Sashimi lunch special

We went for lunch to try this new sushi restaurant in the area. We tried the sashimi lunch plate which had generous slices of assorted fish and plated well. Not only looked good, it tasted fresh. Also tried the lunch plate with General Tao's chicken with rice, veggie and miso soup. Very tasty and not spicy for me. We had a couple sushi Menu items were reasonably priced. We definitely would come back either to dine in or take out. We ordered a poke bowl for takeout for friends and also two sushi rolls - all were excellent and freshly made.

I highly recommend Love Sushi. I got the Crazy Horse roll, Lollipop roll, Philadelphia roll, and Miso soup. They do a weekly signature roll for cheaper which I got and a discounted basic rolls when they have their happy hour. All the rolls tasted very fresh, tasty and authentic. Staff were wonderful as well, very attentive and friendly. I can't compare it to other local sushi spots as this was the first I tried in Wenatchee, but compared to the ones I've eaten at in Seattle/Bellevue/Lynnwood and other areas this place is up there in quality and taste. Pic attached is the Crazy Horse.

Great food, great service. We were greeted and seated right away. Server was attentive and thoughtful. The owner came to our table and was genuinely interested in how we were being served, how the food was and if there were any needs. The food was fresh and authentic. We will definitely be dining there again in n the near future.

    Chicken Teriyaki

Sushi is good value for this side of the mountains. Tasty, fresh tasting, and at the right price point. Teriyaki is my favorite in the area with good portions and fresh salad. I can't comment on the rest of the menu, but generally when a menu is expansive as theirs is there are more misses than hits. So I would say at least they have the sushi and teriyaki in their wheelhouses. I'll update in the future after I have tried other things. For in house eating the service is fantastic and the plating has a touch of finesse! The low traffic area behind Wendy's leaves the place kinda feeling like a chill coffee house with regulars and the occasional curious person like me wandering over for a bite. Really enjoyed it!

We went here for my birthday because Sumo was closed. There was long hair all over the chicken and sushi.

Dirty. I've seen the sushi chefs smoke by the dumpsters in their aprons. Not a place for me to eat.

Ordered a Poke Bowl to go and was ready within 10 minutes. The salmon is fresh and I will definitely be back to try their boba drinks.

If I had to summarize the restaurant in one sentence, I'd say it's a perfectly acceptable steak and sushi house with good service and fair prices, but the quality of the food didn't fully live up to the way it was presented or advertised. First, I want to give credit where it's due. The staff was genuinely friendly throughout the evening. From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming, attentive, and professional. Drinks were refilled consistently, food came out at a reasonable pace, and the servers checked in enough to make sure things were going well without becoming intrusive. In today's world, good customer service feels harder and harder to find, so I absolutely appreciated the effort the staff put into making the experience pleasant. The atmosphere was also about what you would expect from a modern steak and sushi restaurant. It had a nice energy to it, clean dining areas, decent lighting, and a casual upscale vibe that worked well for a dinner out. Pricing was another positive. Compared to many steak houses today, the menu prices felt relatively reasonable. Nothing seemed outrageously overpriced, especially considering they also offer sushi and a broader menu than a traditional steakhouse. If you are looking for a place that won't completely destroy your wallet for a night out, this place lands somewhere in the middle ground. Not cheap, but not painfully expensive either. That said, the biggest issue for me was the steak itself. I ordered what was advertised as a filet, and honestly, I left questioning whether it truly was filet mignon. Anyone who regularly eats filet knows it is typically one of the leanest and most tender cuts of beef available. The steak I received was surprisingly fatty, with a texture and appearance that felt much more like a lower-grade sirloin or another less expensive cut. I understand that marbling can vary, and I'm not expecting perfection every single time, but this felt noticeably off from what should reasonably be expected when ordering a filet. To be clear, the steak was not terrible. It was edible, cooked reasonably close to the requested temperature, and had decent flavor overall. But when a restaurant advertises a premium cut of beef, customers naturally expect that cut to match the description. That disconnect between expectation and reality was the biggest disappointment of the night for me. It honestly felt more like a steakhouse serving "good enough" versions of premium items rather than truly delivering premium quality. The sushi was fine, though nothing especially memorable. Fresh enough, decent presentation, and about what you would expect from a restaurant trying to balance both steakhouse and sushi menus under one roof. No major complaints there, but also nothing that would specifically make me return for the sushi alone. At the end of the day, this place falls into the category of "solid but forgettable." If you go in expecting a casual steak and sushi dinner with decent service and fair pricing, you will probably leave satisfied enough. But if you are specifically going for a high-end steak experience or expecting true steakhouse-quality filet mignon, you may end up disappointed like I was. Would I come back? Maybe, but I'd probably try something different on the menu next time instead of ordering the filet again.

The pot stickers are not made in house, as Won Tons usually are, they are a food service product, boiled in chicken stock with other vegetable trimmings added. My soup was scalding hot--had to rest 10 minutes before it was palatable. There was no evidence of salt and pepper in the soup and none on the table. (It's interesting to note that Wok n Roll is a franchise that touts "quick-cooked" fast foods--quick cooking Won Ton Soup is exactly what was wrong with mine!--should be steeped over time.) Other than that, they forgot the diced green onion which is fundamental to Won Ton Soup. Wok n Roll boasts 20+ stores over five countries (principally Caribbean Islands). Their Madison Avenue advertising promotes a big image, but this Wenatchee store is clearly a low budget operation. The furniture is very uncomfortable-- wooden seats on metal frames, and a cost-cutting approach to food preparation and presentation. If they're doing something right, it wasn't evident on this trip. Again, see the pics!
