We always come here when I come home. It's a casual restaurant and the staff is always friendly I love the burritos. They come smothered in red sauce and are stuffed with filling. I'm not vegetarian, but I love the vegetarian burrito. It has carrots, zucchini, onions and more all chopped up and seasoned to perfection. This time we ordered to go and I got my standard veggie burrito. It comes with delicious refried beans and Mexican rice. My mom had the chicken and rice. It has chicken breast, onions, and peppers and comes with rice and beans. Both dishes are so big they are easily 3 meals!

We drove all this way to try this Mexican restaurant recommended by another foodie. The drive alone to Moses Lake was worth it because I have always driven through, yet have never visited. We approach and the place is HUGE inside. There is space for so many people which was great because we were sat immediately. The menu is most likely the largest menu that I have ever put in my hands, it was SO hard to decide what to eat. I think we looked for 20 minutes. We tried a tamarind soda and that was quite tasty. Not too sweet like most soda and very refreshing. We ended up ordering the seafood soup and a bowl that had the best mushroom green sauce I have ever had but I cannot remember what it was called. It was served in a stone with beef, chicken and shrimp and some healthy beautiful avocado on top. The seafood soup had the most liberating broth. Absolutely flavorful and the seafood was generous and delicious. Would recommend this place fir sure. The warm chips to start and the service are where it's at!

Clearly they wrote down my reservation smh

Terrible service!!! When I tried to give this place another chance, it just failed me again. I made a reservation 1 week ago for a group of 18 people and when we got there, they gave our table away. They then aggressively told me that they don't take reservations and that they would seat us as soon as they could. (In the picture you can see that I had a reservation made). The waitress cleaning tables was SO rude and I caught her talking about me to another waitress, so disrespectful! Then they came to "try" to make room for us in a corner (after 20 minutes) and proceeded to ask US to help set up OUR table!! We decided to call a local establishment, Casa Herradura, and they got us in right away! I will NEVER go to this place again. Terrible service!

There are many Moses Lake restaurants. It's a bit ridiculous really and "Mexican restaurant" isn't descriptive. This Jalisco based restaurant seems to be well loved by families. It does have a bar. The margaritas are pretty but not particularly strong. I love shaker based margaritas but this one was more lime than tequila. The food however is excellent and does contain Jalisco faves that do fall under "from our fam to yours" sentiment. The Burria De Res was fantastic. The plates was huge! Definitely a place to share and enjoy. Food good. Drinks-just pretty. Huge menu with something for everyone and good price range. The murals are beautiful.

Food was delicious and served hot! Service was good. Didn't have to wait long for food.

Really slow service. Took 90 minutes to get service and food. For a table of 14 people. Good food.

Well, nothing's changed in decades. Still friendly, clean, quick, with great gringo Mex. It's also easily accessible from the interstate, and always super-busy. As usual, we got wicked full, and brought a ton back to our RV for later. Glad to pay them another dinner visit after many years...

I don't have much in the way for bookmarks for Moses Lake and hardly any restaurants for the city…read morebut I did have El Rodeo in my list to try. I got one of their combinations on their menu. A cheese enchilada and bean tostada as well as rice and beans. For one it's a bit bean heavy since the tostada is a bean one and the you also have refried beans on the side. Perhaps to reduce that the tostada should be a guacamole tostada. The food isn't all that spicy. In fact it's a bit on the bland side but despite that I nearly finished my entire combination plate so I must have been hungry and the food wasn't all that bad. But it wasn't the most memorable Mexican meal I had but I will freely admit I am a serious snob when it comes to Mexican food. So would I come back? Well, Moses Lake is still largely unexplored by me and the couple of stops I made I passed by a lot of different restaurants so I'd say "never say never" but it isn't a major priority to come back but in a pinch I wouldn't rule out on a return either. I just was looking for something spicier and perhaps more authentic.

It's true - the best parts of travel are found in the detours!!! It was early (6AM), we were tired, hungry and just plain crabby for all of it. We waited, in (crabby) silence, while the truck in front of us in the drive-thru took away a HUGE order of food & multiple coffees. It was a good sign indeed!!! So. Our turn. We ordered from the generous menu of items hand-made-to-order; yummy truck food with a generous splash of Mexican spice and care. I had an incredible pesto stuffed homemade bagel, and my husband had an overflowing breakfast taco. SO GOOD!!! This is NOT fast food - you may actually have to wait 4 minutes (!!!!), but OMG!!! worth every second. And wait - that's not all...BEST. COFFEE. EVER! Fabulous aroma & flavor! This was all served by the kindest human being, who cheerfully shared that she's up and at work there by 5AM, 6 days a week. Otherwise, she "sleeps in" and is there by 7AM...!!! So, to anyone looking for a destination breakfast on I-90 a stones throw from Moses Lake, we'll see you there. We salute the hard-working & generous Team Taco El Ray Espresso! You made a huge difference in our entire travel experience, and, maybe, just maybe, saved our marriage (you know, missing an exit? hungry? tired? no coffee? )
