Great location right on the lake with lots of great view seating. We were greated immediately and seated within minutes, for lunch at noon on a Sunday. She had the halibut fish and chips. Three huge pieces of lightly breaded and perfectly fried halibut with crispy fries. He had the turkey club. Super sized sandwich on hearty toasted whole grain wheat. Bar service was experienced and prompt. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive during our entire visit. The men's room was filthy. I have seen cleaner bathrooms at no name truck stops on the interstate highway. Is this where the restraint staff is expected to wash up before preparing all of our meals?! Finally had all the stars line up to visit Michael's, and it was a lovely Saturday afternoon lunch. It's a beautiful place, inside and out, with a nice patio set up for the best lake views. The food was wonderful! All their burgers are 1/2lb Wagu-style, and Hubby loved his. And you can't go wrong with their Prime Rib Dip that I had, because it's actually prime rib that did not sell out when they serve it on the weekends. You should really go to Michael's on the lake. The ambience is great. The service is great. I can't show a picture because it was hard to take pictures where we were sitting in the sun. I do wish they had better gluten-free options. my hamburger au ju was wonderful along with the salad that I ordered. The crab sandwich on gluten-free bread was awesome. The fried coconut, shrimp, and fish and chips could've been better. Ordered a couple of drinks and we wondered where the alcohol was. too much ice. The chicken with the linguine had a funny taste, and the chicken was so tough couldn't eat it. Maybe it was just a bad night for the chef. Came on a Sunday afternoon 2:30pm and they say the patio is closed. We were seated for about 15minutes before the server came and give us water and take our order. Food took another 15minutes or so to serve even on a slow afternoon. Food tasted mediocre at best unfortunately. My cod was pretty dry and my fries were overfried. Mushroom ravioli tasted decent but the artichoke dip was a not great at all. There's no crab meat in the dip and hardly any artichoke taste. The server didn't come by to fill our water. Didn't come by our table at all but once but more like stopping by barely stopped while heading to other table. Not great, but not the worst either. Father's Day celebration for our family and a late Mother's Day was a huge let down. Our server was fantastic and perfect , none of this is her fault . The food , was just ok . The problem was you were out of a drink we ordered , an appetizer we ordered an entree we wanted and a dessert . This was a frustrating experience, again don't blame the server . She was excellent at what she did , I wouldn't have wanted to come back and be the person telling us repeatedly that your establishment was out of product over and. My friend and I went there for dinner yesterday. The hostess that sat us was so rude. She took us to an area that didn't have a view. We asked if we could sit where we could have a view of the water. The restaurant wasn't busy. She made it clear she was irritated, but we followed her to another table. The table was near a table that had a view, and we asked if we could sit there. She said no, it's dirty. And then left. A gentleman at another table with his family came over and said that he was going to complain because he had the same horrible service from her. We were about to leave when our server came to the table. We explained why we had planned on leaving and she was really nice and asked us if we would reconsider and stay. We did. She cleaned off the other table and allowed us to move. She was wonderful. The food was wonderful. Management comped us a free dessert and I noticed they did that for the gentleman and his family as well. I'm surprised that they allow someone that was so rude to work there. Our bill was over $310, I ordered the prime rib dip sandwich. Very disappointing. The role was huge with a thin slice of beef in there very dry., and a small cup of au juice, when i got to the second half of sandwich bread was dry and hard , like after microwaving, i should have sent it back because $23 dollars wasn't worth it also seems like i got the end of fries,, the pieces were tiny !!!! They were good but a lot of liquid in the bowl. 3) Had the mushroom ravioli and the sauce was a little sweet, fresh mushrooms not used so wasn't up to my standards. 4) The fried zucchini was sliced into quarter strips and because they were so thick the zucchini was crunchy. We tried the potstickers which were delicious! I loved the seasoning on them and the dipping sauce was yummy! My husband got the teriyaki bowl and I got the chicken lettuce wraps. I love Asian food, we are from So Cal so we have authentic Asian food a lot! That's why I am only giving it 4 stars. The presentation was beautiful, love the restaurant and staff. But the entrees we ordered were very sweet, tasted like a syrupy sweet and not what a traditional teriyaki sauce or ginger sauce would be like. We stopped by this restaurant on our way through town. We were eight hours into a twelve hour road trip and needed some lunch. They don't take reservations and the parking lot was super full so I was worried about getting a table but there was tons of room inside. We ended up sitting in the bar section, but there's also a section of the restaurant off the back that is glassed in and looks out at the water and then tons of seating in the main restaurant. Service was a little slow but I think that's because there weren't a ton of employees working and the poor bartender was having to serve tables outside as well as at the bar. We ordered the Gorgonzola truffle fries, a side salad, bang bang shrimp and seafood pasta as well as drinks. Their drink/wine menu is wonderful and everything we ordered was delicious. The food was amazing. The pasta was a little expensive but it had a decent amount of seafood and was delicious as well. I highly recommend the bang bang shrimp and the Gorgonzola dip for the fries was to die for. I would 100% recommend this place!! read more

We get these every time, they're again cooked to perfection. Two of my friends ordered the Ribeye and Prawns special (a grilled Ribeye topped with bacon butter. Served with a prawn skewer and Parmesan mashed pros). It was okay, not as great as it has been in past years. I ordered the Halibut Parmesan (Fresh filet of halibut crusted with panko parmesan cheese, Served on a bed of linguine with tomatoes, mushrooms and a sun dried tomato pesto cream sauce). We had been on the road for several days and a friend recommended Michael's on the Lake. We were ready to sit down and enjoy real food, so we took his advice and stopped. The ambiance and service are excellent. I'm sure the view is as well, but we were inside and couldn't see it. I had some of the best nachos I've ever had and the pork potstickers were excellent! We ate all of the potstickers and I was sad that I couldn't finish my nachos because they were fabulous. My 20 year old had the fish and chips and ate every bite. He enjoyed it, but could've used a larger portion. My daughter had chicken and fries. Chicken was fine, fries a bit overcooked. My other son didn't care for his salmon, but I don't eat salmon, so I don't know if it was him or the dish. Last son had a steak and ate every morsel of it and said it was excellent.
