Perhaps it's due to the slow down in the amount of people going out to dinner these days, but the fish was not fresh. I was unable to eat it. I will say that as soon as I mentioned a problem with the food, it was quickly taken away and a replacement order was offered which I decided to go with fully cooked food to be safe. Best restaurant. I've been going here since I was a kid and it is still my #1. They have such an array of rolls and all of the ones I've tried have been delicious, detailed, and well made. The ginger salad is like none other. The waiters and chefs are all very nice, and they even remember your order if you are a regular. I wish they would have more waiters because they are busy (the best sushi!) but I know that is out of my control. The waiters they have do a great job. First time there yesterday and I'll definitely be returning! We were greeted when we first walked in, the waitress was very patient with us while we took forever to figure out what we wanted. After we figured out what we wanted, we ordered and it was prepared in maybe 15 minutes. It was amazing! Every roll we had was prepared for us down to the T! I forgot the rolls I ordered but they were so good I ordered two more to go! I'd definitely return again! I wish I knew the name of my waitress! Extremely disappointed in how they're currently operating while we're still in a pandemic. Tables are sat extremely close together (2-3 feet). People constantly walking in and out for take out orders with no masks on. Made me extremely uncomfortable, especially since they allow baby chairs to be sat between the tables and I constantly had a kid next to ours turning behind and attempting to grab my glass and phone. The sushi is alright, but falls apart because it's not rolled properly. It's just average quality. It's a shame there's no sushi/sashimi dinner combo on the menu. read more

Why 3 stars??? Because it was only ok. Ordered take out, which was quick and easy. We ordered the green (ginger) salad as well as the Beauty and the Beast and African rolls. The ginger salad was all white lettuce and not good, although I liked the dressing. The Beauty and the Beast roll was alright, although all the fish was very fresh. The African roll was better, and had a nice after burn. My major peeve is that the pieces were cut big. I like to be able to pop a piece in my mouth and not feel like a pig trying to chew and swallow it. I might try it again, but doesn't top my list for sushi. I've been spoiled by good sushi in Tampa and Orlando and but am willing to give them another try at some point. read more

For being out in the country, this strip mall sushi place serves up decent sushi and sashimi. Sloppy roll presentation and large sizes (read: it's def American style, lol), but I've eaten from here twice, take-out both times, and the fish has been fresh and rice cooked well. They lose a point though for their extremely watered down miso soup. I've had it twice now hoping the first time was just a fluke; unfortunately, it wasn't. Service isn't particularly prompt -- may have been due to the dinner rush -- but it's always polite. Anyway, if you're out here and are craving sushi, this is probably the place to go. read more

Found this place through Yelp looking for a place to eat post-Legoland. Totally lived up to the 4.5 star rating. Had two rolls, one was new and recommended by our waitress. Paradise roll was amazing. Good edamame, okay miso soup. Kids PB&J roll was unique and fun. Kids meal with shrimp was good portion. Jennifer our waitress was friendly, patient and helpful with our little ones who can be a bit difficult in restaurants. She was great all the way through and even knew when it was time for the check - didn't have to ask for it while the kids spun out of control. Great family place and great sushi! read more

I always come here when I get some time off for lunch! It's my favorite sushi place in the area by far. The fish is fresh and they make all the sushi in front of you!! The customer service is fine, every one is very welcoming. This restaurant is also right next to Legoland. It doesn't have a super japanese culture theme but it's still cute and picture worthy!! read more

After a long day at Legoland, we were looking for sit down restaurant with good food and we found it. We have an 11, 9 and 4 year old who like ethnic food so we gave it a try. We loved how close it was to the park and being seated right away was awesome. I loved that the kids meals were with an option of shrimp or chicken, tempura or grilled. Also with the kids meal you could get noodles, rice or Mac and cheese. The rest of us got the ginger salad, miso soup and edamame for starters and all were delicious. We got several rolls and ate every one but my kids favorite roll by far was the 8 ball roll. We got our food and adult beverages quick, all was good and we were happily on our way!!! read more

We've tried this place twice because it's close to our home. I'll start with the good, the Hot Mama Roll was delicious, the other rolls we tried were ok, not outstanding but definitely not bad. The fried rice however, was the worst fried rice ever, I don't even know how you could make fried rice that bad. I'm not really convinced it was even fried, it was globby and sticky and it tasted terrible. It took a really long time to get our sushi the second time we went and they didn't appear to be overwhelmingly busy, I would guess about 2/3 of the tables were full.
