They went through all the pros and cons of material and construction options with me so I could make the best decision for my needs and budget. They also provided written documentation of how they were going to do everything - details on how the support posts would be set, on the structure, and on the deck boards, etc, many of which were beyond what the local building code requires. And then they were able to deliver on what they said they would do. The new support structure for my deck is rock solid, I swear I could park a truck on it. Good communication with me throughout the entire process. And the finished product is beautiful. I went with a composite deck material. While not the least expensive quote that I had, they were competitive. I went with them because I wanted it done right and last many years, and I fee that they were able to give me that.

While I am now sort of on my own figuring out the rest, I know I'm still in good hands with their recommendation. It's telling how we react to the absence of information. Bob collected two different deposits and we did have that slab poured in October and then crickets. No more communication until late February 2025 and Tammy stated Bob had an accident and lost his short term memory. She assured us she would finish the job. This went on the 6 more months and eventually she told us we had to finish it on our own. Our contract price was not honored and our deposit was gone. We have since retained an attorney, but the business has closed and Tammy has filed bankruptcy. She also told us Bob had been having memory issues prior to the accident and if so why was he out signing up new business? The whole experience has been a nightmare.
