I just had the doughnut, but it was the bomb . Com. First off, it was GIANT. It almost tasted like the crumble topping on coffee cake. Wow, what a great road find! We travel to Mexico on a regular basis and this food takes us right back. Pibil pork was very flavorful with achote and bitter orange. The pickled onions were both sour and sweet - yum. Partner had a pastor torta and the meat was skillet finished and accompanied with a spicy adobo paste. Clean dining room. Friendly staff. Ordered the Carne Asada. Very good. Tender well seasoned. Came with fresh flour tortillas, guacamole, pico di Gallo, bears and rice. Absolutely horrible customer service! I called and they answered in Spanish and I said hello I would like to place an order. As soon as they heard I wasn't spanish they ended the call. I called again and no response. Called 2 more times and they answered what do you want. I said I wanted the chicken chipotle. She said they don't have that. Then I said pollo de chipotle. I asked for chips and salsa and she sounded mad I had more to order and she said they were out and will be available tomorrow. Okay I said let me just get a glass of Horchata. I get a response with a laugh oh we are out of that as well. They seemed super friendly to the Spanish people but if your not one of them your looked down upon everyone in there. Went Tu Casa in Gypsum today for lunch. I ordered the Chile Relleno platter. It was 17.00. When it was finally served (a good 30 minutes after placing the order) it was cold. I asked the server how long did our order set on counter in the back. She stated that she served it immediately. She did not ask to heat it up or anything. When looking at the plate there was one little Chile relleno, beans, rice, a little lettuce. I was very disappointed. Every other restaurant I have ever ordered Chile rellenos were at least 3 times the size or amount. When we received our basket of chips, it looked like they counted out no more than 12-15 chips. I will no longer go to this restaurant. What a disgrace! read more

Being busy is NOT an excuse to put out a bad product. If you don't have the proper things to make a $19 amazing bowl of seafood. Don't make it. Tell the customer the truth and don't serve a dish that is WAY less than satisfactory. I have never felt discriminated in a restaurant before last night. The jalapeño sauce that Rubin makes from scratch could be put on vanilla ice cream and still be phenomenal. Speaking of vanilla ice cream, the fresh hot churros served on a mound of ice cream and whipped cream and chocolate sauce make the perfect addition to any meal. This is an OK Mexican place. They have a nice selection of Margaritas, but the food is pretty basic. We had the Habanero BBQ chicken salad. I thought it's going to be spicy; it was just sweet BBQ sauce in the chicken breast. The other thing we got was the Al Pastor tacos: the meat is supposed to be marinated. It was, just barely. The salsa is great, the guacamole was fresh, and the shrimp tacos were the bomb. They came with beans and rice; the rice was flavorful, the beans weren't bad but were a little watery. This place is very very good Mexican food. I would most definatly come back here and I would recommend it to anyone. I have the chicken mole rolled tacos. They were fabulous. The Mole is homemade and so good. The people in my part had the fish tacos, and he could not stop talking about how delicious they were. Also, my husband had the pork torta it looked amazing and he loved it. The children had macaroni and cheese which look delicious. it was homemade and looked amazing.
