So here's the lowdown on our experience here. We've driven by many many times. The food is fantastic. I got menudo and my wife got sopes. Both very good. My wife also got a margarita, and I think it was the large or cadillac or something because it was MASSIVE and pretty decent tasting! The service was bordering on non existent. It was pretty busy when we got there, but then we ended up being the only ones there and still couldn't get wait staff to give us the time of day. At one point we had to walk inside to get a server. As for eating on the patio, there was a bunch of trash just blowing around, napkins, cups, etc. I felt like helping clean it up, but the staff didn't care. I'm hoping they had an off day. I'll probably go back if I'm in the area, but I'm not making a special trip out of it. Hopefully your service is better than ours was. read more

3.5 stars. My partner and I stopped by Garduno's on our way back from cold camping in Moab. The outdoor patio was closed due to the weather, but I'd like to come back in warmer weather to try it out. Plenty of parking right out front or on the street. The restaurant is cute, and we were seated immediately as there weren't many people there. I ordered Asada Fries, which were fresh and filling. The flavors were on point, though the ingredients themselves (including the steak fries) were a little less traditional. Definitely something different. Service was quick and friendly. Getting a margarita next time. Overall surprised at the decent quality of food in Eagle. Would come back again next time I'm in town. read more

We had eaten at this restaurant about a year ago. Thought we would give it another chance. We were greeted by a waiter who told us to just grab our own menu from the bar counter. We sat wherever we wanted in the dark section of the restaurant. The bright cheery section was closed off. We ordered a plate of relleno, chimichanga, enchilada, rice and beans, and a taco on the side. The food took awhile to arrive even though there was only one other customer. The relleno was ok, not much batter; the small enchilada had a tasty green sauce on it; the chicken chimichanga was bland - no sour cream, guacamole, sauce, lettuce or tomato. The taco was soooo small. Maybe 3" diameter shell. Rice was cold. I believe we will have to let this one go. Not to return. read more

Mexican restaurant located a little bit outside of the business area, on the corner of a residential area in what looks like a house. A few customers there when we went in for dinner. It was a little cold inside and they have some extra portable heaters to try to keep the place from getting colder. The menu has a lot of items, and has pretty much all of the Mexican items that Americans are used to. They had a special for tacos that day, and they were inexpensive at ~$2 a piece, but I didn't try them. I ordered a dinner plate with sliced flank steak (forgot the proper name) that's mixed in a tomato-based sauce with onions and bell pepper. The dinner also came with refried beans, rice, lettuce, guac, sour cream, slices of tomato, and tortillas. The meat and sauce is tasty and a bit on the salty side, so it's great for mixing with the other ingredients inside a tortilla. Overall enjoyed the food. Prices are not expensive. read more

Pastor was tasty. Chimichanga chicken was not great. I've had better chile rellenos, but edible. Overall, food was average. Service was non existent. Some language barrier issues with asking the difference between house margarita and classic margarita. Didn't get the water I asked for, nor told water was self serve. Never checked how our food was. When asked for boxes and desert menu, it took her over 10 minutes for boxes and no desert menu. She only had two tables and weren't large parties. We came on a Monday night and luckily for us, the place was quiet. I say luckily cause it gave us a chance to speak with our waitress who seems to be one of the owners. The other owner is her husband, aka the chef! A small unassuming place that appears to have been a home at some point, Garduno's has a rather big menu. You can find anything from tacos to enchiladas, burritos, tortas, huarachas, and more. We had the chipotle enchiladas, I ordered two chicken and 1 cheese. Get ready: not only delicious but spicy! You may want to eat them with the red rice that the dish comes with. The enchiladas were topped with I want to say was crema. It wasn't sour cream but it had a slight bitter taste to it, just like fresh crema. We also had the quesadilla Birria which came with a chile de árbol salsa that was also spicy. My hubby says that they were delicious and that the only thing that would've made them better was if the dish had also included the consome that comes when you make birria. For drinks we had a margarita that had a spicy kick and had tajin. A what? Tajin is a tangy Mexican seasoning that has a citrus flavor to it and can be spicy. We also had horchata which was made in the premises by them. They actually soaked the white rice in water and flavored it with cinnamon and blended everything in house. The horchata was refreshing and it came in an XL sized cup! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!! read more

I cannot stress enough to skip this place and have no clue why anyone would give it a good review. If you look at all my reviews you will see I almost never give bad reviews but this place was horrible. Walked in with 3 people and a young girl 13ish is slumped over the counter and annoyed she tells us grab menus sit anywhere. We sit down and ask for water she says well aren't you drinking anything else. At that point, should have left...well then another teenager comes over, this kid was nice, he couldn't answer questions but was nice enough. Meanwhile there are young kids carrying a baby around the restaurant and kitchen. I get family restaurant but you shouldn't have 7 year olds carrying infants around food etc.. For the food - salsa was zero taste. Chicken very fatty pork bland Beer was good. Expensive and kinda a joke. Love seeing a family restaurant but they need to work on their food and not have teenage family members who obviously do not want to be there serving/hosting. read more

This is a true family business and it deserves our patronage. The food - well . . . it's okay, but the service and the beautiful outdoor patio are top notch. The restaurant is run by a family and they are running at full speed to get your order, drinks and check. It feels a bit understaffed - but that's understandable in the current staffing shortage struggles of 2022. The one thing that is just so nice is the people pulling everything together. My boyfriend and I LOVE this place. Our new favorite weekly spot in the valley. The Cadillac Margarita is delicious- not too sweet or strong but well balanced. It's been a few weeks since we ate here so I don't remember ALL the details, but I do remember really liking our food. We took the order to go (because that's the only option these days). The food was really solid and excellent for being in a mountain town. The salsa was a little kicky but not so much you couldn't eat it. I'm sure even someone with a low spice tolerance could handle it. The rice, beans, and steak were delish and just perfect to satisfy my hunger. The only negative was that they forgot our tortillas. FANTASTIC! That's the only word to describe this place. It is small and unassuming from the outside, but the food and service are wonderful! The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive and made our entire experience delightful. The food is absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was top notch. My husband and I had dinner here this past Saturday night and it was so incredible. We are both from Texas originally and have been looking for quality Mexican food and this was definitely it! The restaurant is obviously operating a little differently because of the pandemic but as long as you have some patience, I promise it's worth the wait. To order, you go inside and order from a server or you can call ahead. They aren't fully seating inside so most of their food is to go but there's a really nice patio with big trees and a fountain you can dine in if you don't do to go. We opted to stay and ordered a couple modelos and some chips and queso to start. Queso is a something I can be very particular about and if it's not good, it can upset the whole experience for me. That was not the case here- the queso was rich and flavorful with just enough spice. I enjoyed mixing it with their fresh salsa as well. When the fajitas arrived, I was overwhelmed by how good everything smelled. My husband ordered beef tacos al carbon and we both felt like we made great decisions. Both entrees were served with rice and refried beans as well as a side of fresh guacamole. The beef and shrimp fajitas I got came with incredibly seasoned vegetables that I couldn't stop eating. The tortillas were soft and made for a memorable meal. The menu is pretty extensive and we definitely want to go back and try more. The staff is kind and helpful and seems to be working really hard to maintain the quality. If you're in the area I highly recommend this place, especially if the weather is nice ND you want to dine outside! read more

First time visiting this restaurant. Really good food. I had the chipotle chicken and my son the mole chicken as well as the guacamole and chips appetizer. We like flavorful food and it definitely has some spice. Not super hot but great Mexican flavor. Ordered inside at the bar and they bring it outside on the patio. Will be back. read more
