3.5 stars. My partner and I stopped by Garduno's on our way back from cold camping in Moab. The outdoor patio was closed due to the weather, but I'd like to come back in warmer weather to try it out. Plenty of parking right out front or on the street. The restaurant is cute, and we were seated immediately as there weren't many people there. I ordered Asada Fries, which were fresh and filling. The flavors were on point, though the ingredients themselves (including the steak fries) were a little less traditional. Definitely something different. Service was quick and friendly. Getting a margarita next time. Overall surprised at the decent quality of food in Eagle. Would come back again next time I'm in town.

Love their food. Chipotle chicken is my favorite but can be spicy. We order for pickup a lot, add 5-10 mins to their quoted time, it is always longer.

    sliced flank steak dinner

Mexican restaurant located a little bit outside of the business area, on the corner of a residential area in what looks like a house. A few customers there when we went in for dinner. It was a little cold inside and they have some extra portable heaters to try to keep the place from getting colder. The menu has a lot of items, and has pretty much all of the Mexican items that Americans are used to. They had a special for tacos that day, and they were inexpensive at ~$2 a piece, but I didn't try them. I ordered a dinner plate with sliced flank steak (forgot the proper name) that's mixed in a tomato-based sauce with onions and bell pepper. The dinner also came with refried beans, rice, lettuce, guac, sour cream, slices of tomato, and tortillas. The meat and sauce is tasty and a bit on the salty side, so it's great for mixing with the other ingredients inside a tortilla. Overall enjoyed the food. Prices are not expensive.

To go order...food was fine, service so so. No communication about order. Seemed understaffed.

We poked around the store a bit and it definitely gave the feeling of not being in the valley anymore. Ultimately we came to eat though and so you go to the back and it's a very cafeteria feeling eatery back there. The ceilings are high, there are chairs and tables and extra inventory everywhere. Based on the menu, we ordered tacos, but they also had tortas, burritos and even off-menu menudo (next time). We got some drinks and ordered our tacos. They came out reasonably quickly and we're just absolutely loaded with meat. Almost like they had been punched out of a larger taco with a cookie cutter. I ordered the carne asada and chicharrone tacos while my wife got pastor and carne asada. I'd definitely be down to try all the other offerings. This meal was a great surprise. I'll definitely be coming back here again and again.

Order first, grab a soda from the many refrigerators on the wall and wait for your food. They'll stick your tray on the counter but don't call out that it is ready so if it's busy keep your eyes open. We ordered four kinds of tacos: Carne asada (steak) - it was tender enough and well cooked but seriously lacking in flavor compared to the others that we tasted. Chicken - decent tender chicken shreds albeit a bit plain. Chicharron - small pieces of crispy pork rind that right before serving in the tacos are tossed in a spicy tomato sauce. Very good but you have to eat this one instantly when served otherwise the crispy pork rind starts to get mushy and chewy. Very delicious sauce! Pork al Pastor - Seriously the best of the four. Normally al pastor are made with the pork cooked in layers on a vertical split and served with some pineapple. Since this isn't a very busy place they don't do the volume required for having that kind of spit and they cook marinated chunks of pork on the grill. The marinade was very flavorful and strong and I would order these again the next time we are in the area and decide to eat here. One of the folks in our group had the multiple meat hamburger. It had a beef patty, some baloney like meat, a grilled piece of ham, a split hotdog, and bacon! They have lots of Hispanic and Mexican soft drinks as well as Pepsi products but very little in terms of low calorie drinks. Just Diet Pepsi and then three or four versions of flavored, unsweetened waters like Topo Chico. A very good value relative to the ski town where we are staying.

I am normally a red sauce eater but the green (probably the weak Sendy) was really good. Not spicy but full of flavor. Service was excellent again. 1st visit: I've been in Colorado for nearly two weeks and this has probably been the best meal I've had so far, even after dining in Aspen (Clark's, Aspen Public House) and Boulder (Flagstaff, the Kitchen American Bistro). I love chorizo tacos and the ones here served with potatoes and fried egg with a side of chips and salsa was one of the best I've ever had and I think that's says a lot after living a lifetime in Texas. The hot dog was flavorful and probably a foot long. It was served with lightly salted french fries that reminded me if the ones my mom used to make me. The Bloody Mary was also very good and slightly spicy although it was only garnished with a lime and no olives. The place is very small, seats maybe a couple of dozen indoors but there is also outdoor seating. Service was very friendly.
