10/10, recommend! We ordered the cheese quesadilla and the pork empanadas, THE BOMB! I always try to taste the Mexican food everywhere I go to get a great idea of the rest of the menu! The quesadilla was so nice and melted with a crispy tortilla, the cheese flavor was amazing idk what it was but my goodness was it good. It also came with rice w lettuce, tomato and sour cream but I had that on the side. The pork empanadas were so crispy and soft!! The green Chile was so Gand good, not spicy at all. It also came with everything the quesadilla did only with red salsa which had a nice kick but not after awhile to it:) Definitely will be back!!! Primabera is a perfect stop coming from or going to the airport. We stopped for tacos which were delicious, but unfortunately we had to pass up the chicken grilling over a charcoal fire. Next trip we will certainly allot some time. Dust off your Spanish, it just makes things easier. read more

They had fresh fire roasted Hatch Chiles! I stopped for a quick bite and the burrito was awesome! Bonus fresh chiles out front!

The pork fried empanadas were freshly made and the shop is family run. The pork was under seasoned but the guac and salsa made up for it. For $10 you get a full meal with a little side salad and Spanish rice too. If it's sunny, the patio is nice. If not, get to go. read more

Carne Asada here is amazing most of the time. They do run out of it shortly after lunch. Staff speak very little English.

Trying to get to know the area since I'm starting a job at the jet center. I saw a little taco stand and was curious. I've never tried Beef Cheek before so I ordered some burritos. Absolutely delicious! The burritos were stuffed full of shredded beef cheek from end to end and a few shreds of lettuce and tomato. Burritos were spiced perfectly, enough to make my nose run but not painful so it didn't kill the flavor. read more

I had this this @ 4-5 stars, but as of lately something has changed with their cooking quality options. Quality has declined a bit, and with so many choices of Mexican food in Eagle area, this is not my favorite place any more. It is simple, and inexpensive. That is still main point. Food quality is mediocre at best. If this post was done last year, I would have them at food quality at good, but not any more. Sure hope they go back to what ever was there in past, my opinion. read more

Authentic Mexican Food. Brick and Mortar: Conveniently located about 2-3 minutes off I-70 (exit at Eagle) in a simple stand with a small tented eating area and a window at which to order "to go." Food: Stunning. Service: Fast, efficient and always with a grateful smile. I've lived in LA and New York and have made a point to try all the best-known taco places on and off the beaten path. So I'm living up in Eagle for ski season and I finally stop off at Primavera. And so it begins... The tacos ($1.50) are absolutely great. Light tortillas with meat, diced onions and chopped cilantro. The beef cheek is my favorite - succulent and spicy. Shortly after comes the tongue - rich and sweet - and the pork - crunchy outside and tender inside. The chicken is also very good. The tortas ($5.50) are probably the best tortas I've ever had in my life. Two grilled pieces of soft bread with guacamole, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and the meat of your choice. It is messy, mexican, omnivorous bliss. They are extremely filling. One note: do not plan to eat while driving, it is not safe. They also have homemade horchata and all your other favorite mexican beverages. And then comes the service. The food comes up quick, hot and ready to go. And is served to you with a smile. It's just perfect. (OH! and the red salsa that comes with any order has a great kick, but also a nice, fresh taste where you can tell it was homemade.) read more

Awesome food! Easy place to brig the kids and they love the food too! It's easy to find right off the Interstate and easy parking, too! Tacos, empenades, and burritos were on our menu for dinner. With seven of us it took about 15 minutes to get food, but it was delicious and well worth the wait! I will stop here every time I drive through Eagle. You know you hit the jackpot when the locals eat here, too. read more

Perfect local flavors! Loncheria Primabere is an easily accessed local Mexican delight! The food here is delicious and full of flavor. Suggest trying the slow cooked chicken. My dog practically tries to jump thru the pickup window ever time we go. The rice and beans are so tasty! They have my vote for best pickled onions, goes great on a corn tortilla with rice and beans. Very fair prices!! Always friendly and kind customer service. Cheers to this local family business, much love! One suggestion would be to use another type of to go containers beside styrofoam. read more

This is a lovely little taqueria, simple and straight forward. We ordered chile rellenos, bean and cheese empanadas and a cheese quesadilla (for the girl). The food was fresh and came out quickly, the meat was flavorful and the empanadas were yummy. The beans were a little bland but that was my only complaint. That and the sad iceberg "salad". Pros: simple, fresh, fast. Cons: only outside seating (not really a con for us, especially in good weather), no greens Kid friendly? Well no separate menu or activity but plenty of things to order off the regular menu. All in all, a solid stop on 70 if you have a hankering for Mexican. read more

I've had good tacos from this place in the past. I got a steak torta this time and it was really meh. Salty steak and not a lot of it. The torta roll was really soft and fresh, but it was missing the crisp it should have had from grilling it. All the steak just fell out of the flimsy bread every time I picked it up. The fries it came with were soggy, too. Stick to the tacos at this place and maybe their other stuff like burritos and empanadas? Torta no bueno. read more

Don't come here if you expect to get what you actually ordered. The employees do not speak any English. They don't even know the items on the menu. I ordered beef tacos without onions and an order of rice. I got beef tacos with onions added and no rice. Went back and asked for an order of rice. They gave us potato chips. I just gave up at that point. Spent $14 originally then paid an extra $3 for the "rice" and I ended up getting nothing that I wanted. read more

This is a fine restaurant, nothing fancy or special - it is basic American-Mex food. Decent prices for the area ($7.50 for a very large burrito - meat, beans, rice, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole). The chips were stale, though, and the green chile on the wet burrito wasn't particularly good, mostly watery and thin. The service is good, and they are quite quick. When I went they didn't have horchata, so I can't speak to how good it is. read more

Super friendly staff (if you are friendly to them (it's a Latino thing))! On top of that, the food is incredible (I recommend the whole chicken). This place is a close to México as you can get. If you want an even more authentic experience, get the Horchata or Jamaica (ha*may*ka) juice! The staff at the window acted like it was a hassle to take our order and make the food. It took a millennia for our food to come out and we were the only patrons there. This is absolutely the undisputed champion of authentic Mexican food in the high country. I am a CA native who has lived in CO for 9 years and this is the type of hole-in-the-wall ethnic food I miss so much from back home. Empanadas are a favorite and made fresh from hand rolled dough. If you can get the fish taco special in the summer, order at least four of them. The Birria de Cabrito (goat stew) is a special they run from time to time and it's out of this world. If you happen to go when they're roasting fresh chiles outside then do not miss out on buying a few bags, or ordering a gordita with fresh grilled pollo asado and the roasted chile.. simple and delicious food!!! read more

We come to Eagle a couple of times a year. Why, you ask? To visit family and eat the best Mexican food we have ever had! Primavera is a small little place, nothing pretentious, for sure. But what you get is good food at a good price. I am especially fond of the Chile Rellenos Burritos for sure. Cheek meat anything is also a good bet. I would say that for easy access from I-70 for great local food (not a chain for sure) you cannot go wrong. read more

Maybe I'm just used to the Mexican food in California but I got street tacos two pork and two chicken they were made sloppy and weren't very flavorful at all. Asked for jalapeños on the side and they forgot when I went back and asked they weren't spicy at all tasted like a bell pepper. read more

unbelievable authentic mexican food. If you are heading from Aspen, glenwood springs carbondale or even want to back track a bit from beaver creek or vail this place is the spot. Very low key. I have not had one bad thing on there menu. The Tortas with beef chin are to die for. The tacos are simply magical.
