This place is absolutely amazing! I had driven by a few times back when it was Dad's Cafe, but finally decided to stop in for breakfast today. Let's just say I wish I had done it sooner. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a classic 1970s family diner, but with a fresh, beautifully updated look. Everything was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and the prices were very reasonable. I ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict, and wow... it was hands down the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. And that's saying a lot because I never pass up a good Eggs Benedict when it's on the menu. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. They also have a great kids' menu, which is a huge plus. It's honestly hard to find breakfast that's this fresh these days, and because of that I've gotten into the habit of skipping breakfast spots altogether. Dad's Diner completely changed that for me. It's officially going into my regular rotation of favorite local restaurants. As great as the food was, the service made the experience even better. Alex was our server, and I believe she's one of the owners as well. She was incredibly attentive, gave thoughtful recommendations, and had such an upbeat, genuine personality that made us feel right at home. You can tell she truly cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. The entire staff was fantastic. Everyone was smiling, welcoming, and clearly enjoyed what they do. That kind of positive energy is contagious, and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. Not quite sure how we feel about Dad's Diner. We've been a few times, and overall, it's one of those places that isn't bad, but it isn't necessarily great either. The positives: the restaurant is clean, we've always been seated promptly, and everyone we've encountered has been genuinely nice. You also have to remind yourself that this is a diner, so the food is pretty much what you'd expect. Breakfast is standard diner fare. No matter what you order, it's fairly consistent and gets the job done. The club sandwich is decent, and the real star of the plate is definitely the sweet potato fries. Those are worth ordering. The grilled chicken sandwich, however, is a miss for us. It's dry, plain and simple, and probably not something we'd order again. Service has been fairly consistent, although it can be lacking at times. You may find yourself having to flag down your server for things like extra napkins, condiments, or another drink. That said, everyone is friendly when you do get their attention. Overall, Dad's Diner is not bad, but not great. It's a clean, friendly neighborhood diner with predictable food and a few things that stand out. Keep your expectations in line with what it is, order the sweet potato fries, and you'll probably leave satisfied. read more

Dad's Diner was fantastic! My son Carter ordered the chili cheese dog and absolutely loved it, while I had the country fried steak, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
