We were visiting the area and decided to try this place out. We walked in and was greeted right away. The waitress came right over to bring menus and gave us a heads up that it would be about a 40 min wait since they just got in a lot of orders. We stayed anyway and ordered some apps. Next thing, here comes our pizza! The cook/chef heard that we were going to stay anyway and didn't want us to wait so long for our food. We thought that was extremely thoughtful of him. We ordered a meat lovers 12" perfect size for the two of us. We even added mushrooms and extra cheese. Our server was great, asked if we had any questions about the pizza which we had none since we were pretty hungry. Cozy little place you can almost miss it if we weren't looking for it. I'm originally from New Jersey/NYC and this is one of the only places I actually enjoy getting pizza. I love this place.

I have ordered several times in the past and it was "ok" so I thought I'd try again. I ordered penne à la vodka because it was buy one get one. I have no idea what their version of penne a la vodka is, but penne with a little tomato sauce and halved cherry tomatoes with parsley is what you like then ok. If you're looking for the real thing, this isn't it. Not even close. I'll have to try to get some vodka sauce and make it edible. I'm done with Tu Pizza. read more

This pizza was purchased on a whim when I discovered the original place we chose to get pizza from was closed... and I'm glad they were. Tu Pizza was really good!!! I walked in to order and the man doing the cooking was the only one there. He was extremely friendly and helpful, made our pizzas and I left. I was surprised at how good it was, perfect semi thin, but still soft, crust, lots of toppings, great flavor. Plenty of parking and there are some tables and chairs if you want to eat there. Decided to try this pizza place since I was in the area. The reviews seemed well enough for me to try it out. I asked the cashier if he's tried the eggplant parm before, and he said "it's Really Good! Everything we make fresh, the bread, dough and more" So I decided to try the eggplant parm sub since he said it was Really Good. It was definitely Underwhelming. The sub was quite dry, barely any sauce. The eggplant did not taste fresh at all, it tasted like it was microwaved. I could tell because the eggplant wasn't crispy, the breadcrumbs were soft and dry. It was layers of dried eggplant. Couldn't say it was flavorful, just very subpar. I didn't eat the sandwich, $11 wasted. Wouldn't recommend eating subs from here. Haven't tried the pizza, but based on the upsell of the food from the cashier I'm not trying anything else from here. I'll spend my money elsewhere read more

Good Pizza spot that's been here for 7 years. Simple and traditional boardwalk style. They make a good thin crust that still has some structure without being to soggy or floppy. Kinda like Mauros in downtown Hollywood back in the day except not as big. They are quick when it comes to their order as well (15-20 min.) You got Piola down the street which charges way too high for a small slice and longer wait. Oof sorry Piola, love your gnocchi, but when it comes to the pie, your lovely artisan pizza is not for the boys on game day. I suppose it's your preference of slice. So for the pizza hunter that likes a classic thin crust pizza I recommend this spot. read more

Very rude on the phone. We always order delivery as it is one of our favorite places. Today was not a good experience at all, we got a mush that was not even a pizza anymore. We turned it away and just told them respectfully its okay not to bring another pizza back as we did not want to wait another hour. Tu pizza called back and... we explained how the pizza got here. Was told that we were lying and must have done something to the pizza ourselves because it left their place in perfect condition (if we ordered the pizza why would we want to mess with it and return when hungry and waited over an hour to get it?)
