We were pleasantly surprised by the food here. The atmosphere is VERY casual, but don't let that fool you. The food is good and the service was excellent.

Yes the mini golf is fun and for $6 it's a steal HOWEVER if you need to use the facilities, you have now been warned! Moldy water facet, disgustingly moldy bathrooms. Don't think they've ever cleaned anything with bleach. I mean I would pay $15 to come play if they had even half way decent aka CLEAN restrooms. I would hate to see what the kitchen looks like....

Tualatin has a fun and challenging putting course that resembles a miniature version of real golf (where you have to strategically place shots) more so than the mini-golf world of windmills and loop-de-loops. These holes are modeled after golf-holes from famous courses in the world, which is a fun twist for a golf fan such as myself. Probably not a super fun course for little kids, as there aren't many fun obstacles and there isn't a prominent theme (dinosaurs, castles, etc.), but it's different, which is a plus in my book. Fantastic price too: $5 for a round of mini golf is a real steal these days. Definitely would come back for another round (and to check out the real golf options too)!

We went to this place for mini golfing with the daughter. They had one course for mini golfing. It was medium difficulty I would say. But the features stayed the same all throughout-- gradients and water streams running through. They were interesting at first but got boring very soon. The grassy area surrounding the course had mostly dead grass and needed some TLC. There was also a driving range and a restaurant inside. The mini golf was pretty cheap and I would come again, given the dearth of options around. But not with excitement!

No tacky windmills or Godzilla tails to dodge... and no interstate freeway 10 feet away to drown out your conversation. Would never have found this place except for a yelp review. All 18 holes were interesting with lots of water traps and a rushing creek winding through the course. Not fancy, not particularly elaborate, but very pleasant and fin for the kids. (Much better than the offering at Oaks Amusement Park, FWIW. ) Lots of chain restaurants nearby if the golf club bistro isn't what you're looking for.

Only $5/person for 18 hole mini golf, designed after world famous holes. Beautiful course, great prices, clean facility & a fun way to spend 2hrs with the family. It can get crowded on the weekends, no reservations, so go early. After mini golf we had lunch at the Island Grill, make sure to go on Taco Tuesday's for $1.50 tacos, what a deal!

I wanted to get outdoors with my friend while we had the chance so I found this place to play mini golf. The price was definitely reasonable and luckily it wasn't crowded so we could enjoy our game hassle free. The place is really beautiful and it was interesting since it's not your typical mini gold course. It's modeled after real golf courses rather than just kiddie style. This made it a very different experience. Our only issue was we know how it usually works with mini, but here the ball can go out much easier, but not necessarily so far out. Like stuck in the rocks right next to the course because there is no actual barrier. So without direction we just kind of decided the rules for ourselves, but it would have been nice to have direction. Without the barriers this really isn't a place I'd recommend for young children who do not golf. We had a good time though. We decided to stop for lunch while we were here. Just basic fare, but good service, reasonable prices and portions, and decent food. They have a pretty good selection of food items so you can find something you will enjoy.

I wanted to get some putting practice in and wanted a challenge. This place Is just that and is a fantastic deal. I usually bring my own putter and they're ok with that. Fun for all ages and you can crack open an adult beverage (if purchased there) while you have play.

This place has a great mini-golf course for $7 a head. You're not going to see windmills and mechanical monkeys, but you'll find 18 recreations of famous courses around the world complete with rough patches to mimic sand traps and small lakes and rivers to avoid. One important tip: there are cans of bug spray outside. Use them! The club house has free wi-fi and a cafe that I haven't had a chance to try out yet.

I love this place. I sometimes go there just to have lunch or dinner. Best burgers in Portland, other menu items are good too.

After our round, I returned to the clubhouse with my two daughters to request a refund after we were unexpectedly told we had to rent an additional set of clubs. This was confusing, since we've shared clubs in a foursome before without issue -- and the group ahead of us had only three sets as well. When we respectfully pointed this out, we were met with sarcasm and rude behavior from the staff member at the counter, Collette. It was an uncomfortable and unnecessary way to end what should have been a great family outing. I submitted feedback right after the experience, hoping for a reasonable conversation. While I did receive a reply, it was disappointing. Instead of acknowledging the poor customer service, the response focused on defending the club's policy and implied that we were somehow disrespectful in requesting clarification/refund. The tone of the response made it clear that the blame was being placed on us as the customers, not on the way the situation was handled by staff. I'm only posting this now because my direct attempt to resolve the issue respectfully went nowhere. Since then, I've read through other Yelp reviews and noticed several similar complaints about rude or dismissive staff behavior. Unfortunately, that seems to be a trend -- and one that long-time customers like us can't ignore. Summerlin has always been a favorite course, but this experience left a lasting impression -- and not a good one. I hope they take the growing customer feedback to heart and focus not just on enforcing policies, but on how those policies are communicated.

Beautiful course. However, among finishing our round, the older gentleman working the pro shop…read morescolded me for my golf skirt and said in front of a huge group of people that I cannot wear my skirt on the course again because it's a "retirement community with men older than him". Which not only makes me feel sexualized, but also feels like harassment. I've always followed, and respected the rules of the course based on the golf rules posted. This was not only embarrassing for him to yell in front of multiple people, but also a bit unfair considering nothing is posted on their website regarding skirts.... Additionally, I bought this golf skirt on Amazon and have worn it to many other courses in the area. It unfortunately feels like another opportunity for men in golf to try and embarrass / police females who try and get into the sport and discourage them from coming back. Women do not want to be sexualized on the golf course. We are there to play! I'd suggest some training for the employee to learn how to appropriately address any issues he has, in a way that isn't embarrassing for the individual who is singled out, along with updating the online attire policy to include no golf skirts. You cannot change the attire rules based on the structure of a woman's body (curvy or flat). And you definitely should not have such an unprofessional way of notifying people who are unknowingly breaking the rules.

After trying out multiple instructors in the Portland area (Redtail, Pumpkin Ridge, Rock Creek) and several others in the US (at least 50 hours of total instruction), Golftec stands out to me as one of the best setups for a golfer looking to improve. Michael's approach on the game is multifaceted, not just how best to swing a club. We go through swing mechanics on an indoor simulator and apply them during playing lessons on-course. Short-game and putting lessons have been the weakest part of my game, but now are a more confident part of my game. Instruction on strategy and course management has dramatically increased my percentage of hitting greens on approach shots. Michael's engineering background, his deep knowledge of the game, and his passion for instruction helped me better understand my golf game. I now am better equipped to self diagnose and fix day-to-day adjustments in my swing. The facility also allows for indoor practice on a simulator which is key for off-season improvement to ready for the new season. The video recording/playback in the practice sessions allows you to see whether or not the swing mechanics taught during lessons are being implemented during practice. This feature has increased the efficacy of my practice sessions in a way I couldn't have imagined previously. I can write another page worth of praise for Michael and Golftec, but it's just easier for you to try it yourself. Go in for a swing evaluation; it's $95 and it's likely you'll walk away from that session with actual solutions that work rather than YouTubing/Instagraming a fix that will cause more problems than it fixes.
