This liquor store is all about the spectacular service. They've got great seasonal gift items too, but when I'm looking for a gift, and I don't know squat about peaty scotch versus malty scotch, there's always someone nearby to school me. As long time resident, I've always enjoyed each and every liquor store in Oregon being allowed to a bit of freedom in what they have to offer, but also like them being stuck to the OLCC pricing and guide lines. Tualatin Liquor Store has grown and moved, and even grown some more in the past 10 years I've been a local here, and it seems the evolution as a whole has been good. Decent cigar selection is expanding and they'll bring in a box of something you want to buy if you let them know. Beer and wine has been added as well. I've ALWAYS had good service there! As I read some of the comments today, I just shook my head at how silly and petty some people can be..........Out of literally thousands upon thousands of transitions that happen there, a couple cry babies think their digs have power. In the USA we have a free economy that allows your to spend your dollar where you want. If you don't like your drunk a$$ denied, or denied cause your 12 year old picked up the bottle, or you don't have ID, etc..... try it somewhere else because it sounds pretty clear to me their employees know OLCC regulations. read more

Great selection, very nice store and the employees were very helpful. I bought a unique bottle and had a question about it. They made a couple calls to other liquors to get an answer. I'll buy there again and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a nice store with a good Scotch and Irish Whiskey selection! read more

This location is a huge improvement over the previous location. It is a moderately sized store with all the usual suspects.

I purchased 2 bottles of alcohol from this store today. I was about to pay when the cashier rudely asked my daughter for ID. I said she is not purchasing, I am. She said I was not allowed to speak to my daughter while I was shopping. I asked my daughter--who is barely under the legal age--to wait outside. As she was leaving, the clerk huffed. I said I believed it was fine to bring in minors as long as they were accompanied by an adult. She said I wasn't allowed to speak to her about the alcohol. Our conversation consisted of me asking what she thought was a better price break by size. So extremely rude! First time in this store and I will not be coming back. The Tigard Liquor Store is close by and much more professional and helpful. read more

I came here bc I was craving a margarita and needed to buy tequila. I know nothing about tequila and they recommend one that I really liked that was cheaper than the Don Julio brand. I come here when I buy alcohol bc the prices are way better, and they are more helpful and knowledgeable than the one near my house! read more

My experience with liquor stores in the Portland Metro Area had been poor. Every place I have been has been seedy and shady with rude staff. I have found a gem in the Taualitin Liquor Store. The selection is amazing. It seems more of a liquor boutique then a store with the interior being welcoming and cute. I would call it upscale even. The staff was awesome. I came in needing a specific liquor but forgot how much I needed. I think it was the owner who tried to look up the recipe online for me because my phone was acting slow. We eventually figured it out. I loved the store so much we ended up buying more then we had intended to. even though we live less then a mile away from another liquor store we will absolutely drive the 20 minutes to go to the Taualitin Liquor Store read more

5 stars for a liquor store? When it's Tualatin Liquors the answer is oh hell yes! Clean, well stocked, and knowledgeable friendly employees. No more do I have to drive to Vancouver and walk miles around a store for a wide selection of spirits. This liquor store has had everything I've ever been looking for, including odd PNW distilled specialties! Everything I need, in an easy to shop store. yes it's a pain that Oregonian's can't buy their alcohol needs in their grocery store while they do their weekly shopping or whatever.. no it's not as convenient and the authorized liquor stores are few and far between but...... if you are fortunate enough to visit Tualatin Liquor Store you won't mind the slight extra time it takes to visit a liquor store. Their new store is large enough to contain any liquor need you might have and the staff are always so eager to recommend what would be your best choices when you let them know what your looking for. The way they have things displayed is like no other liquor store I've visited, very organized and logical. I never mind the little exra drive and special trip to get such excellent service. I have known this liquor store since it was in the corner of the chemists on what I now call the "sleezy strip" When it moved to its new location it was great, well thought out, same friendly folks and great selection. So sad to see it now, it has gone from "classy" to "trashy". who needs snacks, large bottles of soda lining the now almost "airport security" line up to pay. I used to enjoy going here, the ambience, selection and staff were great, the staff are still good but the Manager apparently has no idea, thinks he is still dealing with a store in downtown Portland. Next we know, there will be bars on the windows! So sad to see what Carl and his family created over many years come to this. Sherwood is looking better all the time.. read more
