Typical local liquor store. Very friendly staff for majority, that seem to value local customer relationships. However, there's 1 or 2 extremely rude newer hires that don't value local customer relationships. Maybe it's the generation & being new? I don't know. Only other thing noteworthy I can think of, is...I'm confused about why there's only 16 reviews that're literally years old... Not a huge store, but still has a good selection of a wide variety of different liquor options. Employees are always very helpful if you have any questions or can't find something, and they stay well stocked. My only complaint is that their parking lot out back is very cramped and tiny, and not easy to maneuver in and out of as you have to enter and exit through the same route. And I have been told that several people have gotten their cars bumped into because of this. So basically, it's "enter at your own risk." read more

They have a wide selection of drinks, including soju (and flavored soju!) which I feel like is hard to find at times. How do you review a liquor store? I'll just say that in the sea of OLCC clone liquor stores in the state of O there are some that stand out with a little more distinction than others. Take for example Pearl Specialty in Da Pearl. They have a more Epicurean selection of fine Spirits. Such as the one of a kind $3000 bottle of Bourbon in their locked case. To them I say nice job, way to make me feel inferior and poor. There is a little corner store on main street Tigard, a small area of town that is slowly going under a revamping and is destined for an economic resurgence, maybe. Here you will find Tigard Liquor Store and it is a good little liquor store. If you go there they will sell you booze, ciggies and lottery tickets. I don't go to liquor stores that often but when I do it's generally the Tigard liquor store. They are always friendly and helpful. Today I stopped in and there was a sample table from a local distillery called Abiqua. Knew nothing about them but was able to sample their product, which I might say was fabulous! Nice re-model. I remember years ago, it was so stuffy, cramped, crowded with junk if you had a big puffy coat on and made one wrong turn, you'd be shifting the merchandise around or something would drop. It's clutter free - I think some new ownership and is even bigger than last year (when I last visited). My dad and I usually make a yearly trek to keep rum supply up at the folks house. Cannot really comment on whether they carry anything rare. They stock cold beer and wine now. Improved, Friendly Layout. Oregon Lottery, too. Parking available. read more

I was glad to find about this store close to home. On my first trip, I stacked up, the owner was nice, and helpful, but when I checked out at the counter, the lady cashier was not friendly, and did not offer me a bag and I had to carry 3 big bottles and a smaller one. And she gave me the wrong receipt when I asked for it. On the second and third trip, same thing, the cashier's attitude is not hospitable and welcoming to the store's customers. Too bad... Two visits within a week, and two very different experiences. I went in looking for a p[articular bottle of Champagne. The first time I went in, the staff were wearing only plastic face shields, no masks. One cashier was very helpful. I got out quickly, nervous about the lack of masking. The second time I went in, the only guy in front was coughing continually and wearing only a plastic shield. I requested assistance from a different staff member who did help me find the particular bottle, but he was wearing NO MASK at all, no plastic shield and he was very brusque, telling me "you're welcome' before I even had a chance to thank him for his assistance. Or buy presents for people, because, booze is always a solid gift option in this city. Also lately I have been addicted to making jello shots. Believe it or not they offer jello shot making kits here too. This liquor store is better than you would expect. They have a solid collection of local options and their gin section is above average. Also? They carry tons of mini bottles. Perfect. Throwing a party? They will hook you up with their wall of mixers and other fun party wares. Such a cool little liquor store in downtown Tigard. The space is pretty small, but PACKED with great selections of liquor, especially their vodka selection. They have local and national brands in just about every category. I picked up a bottle of New Zealand vodka for $16 the other day, and seen a bunch of other great selections as well. Thankfully they also had some coolers with mixers, soda, juice, etc. I picked up a bottle of tonic water so I could make some nice refreshing vodka tonics when I got home. The staff were very friendly and seemed "mom and pop" to me. I was asked if I needed any help finding anything, it's nice to know that customer service and attention still exists, even in liquor stores. I will definitely be back here to purchase some more spirits. read more

I came here for a first time recently and I found the proprietor truly a wonderful guy. I almost never find the liquor store employees fun and interesting to talk to. I think they get jaded by the majority of customers. This guy was completely different. Gave real feedback (both positive and negative) about different liquor bottles and I left with a few standbys ad a sample of a new one. All in all the guy made the experience. It's your typical liquor store, with the usual whiskeys, scotches, etc. The staff is fairly friendly, but the owner just needs to sample some of the inventory or something. I've never experienced so much attutide and disrespect. I have see ID on the back of my card, which she said they didn't expect unless I'd sign it. So, no problem I did and was told it wasn't "good enough" and that she wasn't going to risk her money unless I signed it better. Quaint little liquor store located perfectly at a stop sign on main street, take a right to park on a small side street. This store has a good selection of liquors, the amenities, lottery, and even an overhead Keno game that I haven't seen in years. Coming from southern VA where the liquor stores are state run this was a pleasant surprise. The store had my brand of rum and refrigerated mixer. The attendant had a great attitude and all I was in for was in for was a rum and coke to prime up for the Army/Navy game. read more
