One appointment was entered incorrectly although the receptionist and I agreed on the date and time with me repeating the information and she concurring with me when made.  Another appointment I called to cancel over a week earlier but discovered by accident days later it was still scheduled.  I emailed my therapist and stated: " I really enjoyed our sessions and found you competent and personable.   If your receptionist is coached on her mistakes I'd be happy to continue with you.  If she is defensive or non receptive I can not. Let me know how you would like to proceed". The therapist did apologize but neither the receptionist nor office manager felt obliged to.  I was told my future appointments have been canceled.   I wrote her back saying I know I canceled them. This is the second time I've tried Pivot PT.  There won't be a third.

I have been going (off and on when I have flair ups and they get me back on track) to them for so many years and will not go anywhere else. (I have gone to other physical therapist before and they are the ones who have helped me the most) They offer amazing methods to heal without drug like dry needling, ultrasound, laser, cupping and so many other techniques they use for you to get relief!! They were able to provide what insurance covered and what I was responsible for. Upon arrival, the waiting room was about half filled but those were people waiting on their loved ones. After about ten minutes, I pre-registered and was called to the back within five minutes of completing the registration. The nurse, Sunny, was very friendly that prepped for the surgery. She was helpful in answering questions and ensuring that I was comfortable. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Handel, was nice and readily available to answer my questions. The OR nurse and nurse anesthetist were cheerful and nice. I've forgotten their names. I have a few complaints. The doctor arrived forty-five minutes or more after the scheduled surgery time. This seemed to be normal and none of the staff was surprised. I get it that things can happen, but to be late for surgery on a regular isn't a good thing. The doctor never disclosed this, but I found out that he has an interest in this surgery center and profits off of the money made there. I was asked to sign a form saying that I knew and understood this. This should have been disclosed well before the day of the surgery. After the surgery, the doctor never came out to tell the family how the surgery went nor did he provide a follow up appointment or any information. The recovery room nurse had the family member sign discharge papers and seemed baffled as to why the doctor had not spoken to the family nor provided a follow up appointment. This caused some confusion and the family was basically left to do what they thought would be best in care upon arrival at home. It would also have been nice for staff to show the patient how to use the crutches and walker, as far as shifting weight to the good leg rather than the bad leg for climbing steps, getting up from a seated position, etc.

My adult brother who has Autism came to Boulders for surgery on his hand. He was crying from hunger…read more(NPO from midnight) and desperately wanted to go home and to eat chicken. Most staff were kind. In particular, Crystal, thoughtfully moved him to a quiet room for less stimulation. However, after multiple attempts to fabricate a physical ailment for a healthy man, the Anesthesiologist cancelled the scheduled surgery at 2:30pm, after he was fully prepped for surgery and had been there since 10:30am. This was cruel for the Autistic patient and mortifying for the surgeon who had booked the surgery at Boulders. Thankfully, the hand surgery took place at CJW the next day under a compassionate and knowledgeable anesthesiologist. Further training on disabilities and human rights is needed. UPDATE: Spoke with Bridget Roque, Boulders' Administrator "Per our guidelines if there is a behavioral component that we feel like the hospital is a better setting for we will cancel the procedure. We will review and cancel because we're not connected to a hospital and want him and our providers to be safe. We don't have that high acuity level of special-needs and we don't have that high-level training here. I apologize, and I wish it were communicated sooner and without looking for other excuses, but it's just the reality of what we can provide and how much training we can expect of our providers." They do not wish to pursue further training on disabilities.

The waiting room is shared with other doctors' offices on that floor, but quite roomy. The entire office (including restrooms) were very clean; the front staff was polite and helpful, as well as the M.A. who did my vitals and EKG was professional yet friendly. Then Dr. Christine Browning, MD arrived; she was quite friendly and had a great sense of humor- which was refreshing- because I'm a former Navy Hospital Corpsman and retired Paramedic with a personality somewhere between comedic and provocative... She actually found a serious issue and set me up with testing right away. I'm glad she put up with me. I'd recommend this practice in a heartbeat! (Pun intended!) Thanks, Doc!

It's very confusing to go from one NP or PA to another for an issue to get settled. Although it was a lot of trouble to change, I want to see a doctor for my heart issues without making a big deal. I also did not like Accuhealth for taking daily blood pressures. Now, I have a nurse that calls me every month to discuss what is going on and make connections for me if an appointment is necessary. I realize medical care is different than a few years back so sometimes you have to take the initiative and be active in your personal healthcare.

But the care I've received from Dr Crognale and staff over the past 8-ish years has been great. They call to remind me that I need to schedule my check ups, they greet me when I arrive and they quickly answer messages I leave in the patient portal. And when I'm there for an appointment, she takes time to go over every concern I have and to look back and ask about past concerns. She is very thorough and explains everything. I'm very happy to be a patient there.

The two ladies at the reception are always nice and friendly to me and usually recognize me when I arrive. One particular person in the lab wasn't my favorite but he got the job done and I usually didn't have a complaint with his performance. I've rarely had any issues with long waits for Dr Joshi but I've noticed some other patients have complaints of other doctors constantly having long waits.
