I asked how his day was going , he said long ( rudely ) and he gets up way to early ! I got a prickly pear iced tea here with zero prickly pear in it. I asked if it would be sweet and they said no, but there was cane sugar at the cream and sugar station. I just wish they would have also told me it was going to be plain tea. That said, the inside is pretty nice. They have high ceilings, a couch, interesting art work, and a take-a-book-leave-a-book policy. If my wife had liked what she ordered, I might have raised the rating. Maybe the straight up coffee is good, but they probably need to take the decaf and tea options off the menu. read more

Prices are about the same as Starbucks but you definitely get more coffee here than you do at Starbucks. For example, If i order an iced coffee from Starbucks I'm actually paying for a cup of ice with a shot of coffee. Whereas here, they actually fill your cup up with coffee and then add ice. This place is great! The staff was so friendly, it caught my eye when they first opened and I saw the store owner standing outside with a "Free Coffee" sign. I decided I would stop to try it on my way to school. It was great! The atmosphere was very comfortable as well. They do the coffee with a cop. They had their coffee for sale in cute little bags for the holidays. I found the coffee smooth and not to bitter. I drink cold coffee all year young so iced is always for me. The girl that was working and I had a good laugh together about how we always drink iced coffee. They have punch cards which is a nice touch. I could definitely see myself coming in here to hang out and drink coffee. I wish they had a few more tables and maybe some more food like pastries etc. They will do great with that location. read more

I've become a a big fan of TCR recently as I found them and truly appreciate both the local flare of the establishment, the good coffee and food items that they serve, the excellent service all around, and the great decor of the shop. TCR is a great place to have some coffee, hang out, relax, and also support the local Tucson local community. TCR is also open to working with other businesses, which I find to be a very positive attitude for them to have. I'm partial to their Americanos, but have also enjoyed their mochas. They offer a decent range and diversity of breakfast items, too. I look forward to visiting them often in the future and supporting their success. read more

I visited Tucson Coffee Roasters for the first time this weekend, and the americano I ordered was fantastic! I will definitely be back for more. I also really liked the cozy atmosphere, and that they offered books and board games in the cafe. The only downside to my visit was the customer service, which could be improved. The staff didn't say hello or thank you, and they were busy with their own conversation. It would have been nice if they had offered suggestions, and I didn't see any of the seasonal drinks pictured on their instagram. read more

Fast and friendly. I was visiting Tucson and ended up at the closed location. However, the open location was very nice. I called and ordered ahead, everything was ready when I arrived. Nice casual place. Perfect for relaxing and hanging out or even rushing to get coffee on the go. It has a hipster, coffee blogger feel to it, lol. It's a pretty liberal (atmospherically speaking) local shop. I guess you can study there if you really wanted to, but there is music playing over head and it does get a bit loud, but for some people, that is their best way to study. 3 stars because Yelp doesn't allow half star ratings, otherwise I would rate three and a half, because I rate over all, and the menu is lovely and unique, but not 4 star worthy in quality because I reserve those ratings for fancier venues. I love that the orders for hot beverages come with a free espresso bean and the coffee is pretty good too. There is a small individual sweetner/creamer station that is actually pretty roomy to perfect your beverage and comes complete with real sugar, fake sugar, and natural sweetner choices, and ice water to suit your fancy. There is also a library of books to choose from for your reading pleasure and you can also leave a book there as well. The bathroom is nice and spacious, at least for the ladies restroom as I can't comment on the men's room. I'll come back to this coffee house again being that I don't really do the coffee house scene, but if I was a fanatic, this would be the place. Love this little coffee shop! I think it's truly a hidden gem! It's hidden behind Miss Saigon. Super welcoming with a side of hipster vibes...love the wall art and the girl that helped me was sooo super sweet! She was happy to let me sample their cold brew since it was my first time here and I loved it. Just the right amount of kick while still being smooth and not bitter at all! I tried an iced nitro brewed coffee with white chocolate peppermint bark flavoring. They make their syrups/flavoring in house ans you can tell! They even put a special touch on my cup for an added yummy caffeinated boost! (Java chip) I came in a bit later in the day so their pastry case only had a couple of items (they both looked delicious) it was a crumb topped muffin and chocolate croissant. They also serve breakfast sandwiches. Hopefully I can come back soon to have some breakfast and another deliciously smooth iced coffee given to me by someone with a warm friendly smile that welcomes me back!! They give a little chocolate espresso bean on top of every cup which is a really nice addition. Went here for the first time today and got the iced white caramel mocha. Let me tell you it was perfection!!! Perfectly mixed, not too Coffee-y as most iced coffee drinks are but then not too sweet as most coffee drink are. It was the perfect mixed iced coffee drink I've ever had and I drink coffee every single morning to be able to function. Inside the shop is super cute and comfy.
